Add an option to turn off AI summaries.

It might be useful for people with robust business-style accounts, but most of my messages are already short, or they're notifications. It makes the "summaries" redundant and obnoxious.

    I found directions for how to turn off the summary feature, but the items the instructions said to check and toggle within More>settings were not listed. Please add an option to turn off the summary feature; it is incorrect, misses necessary information, adds unnecessary information, is unable to distinguish if the recipient of a forwarded email may be more interested in the "not important" information contained in the email, and it requires the reader to take extra time to scroll down to the original message. I much prefer seeing only the original message when I open an email. If I am reading a series of emails, all that extra scrolling can add to an extra hour of time spent on emails--and I would much rather be spending that hour with my kids.

    Please I am begging you, how do I turn off the little box with the AI summary at the top of an email? I want to get rid of it and cannot find the setting anywhere.

    This has already been said but it's closed to comments. The AI "summarization" drives me crazy. It blocks the info I want to see and doesn't help me. Make it stop!!

    AI summaries are a violation of privacy!!! Get rid of them!!! I do not want my emails read under any circumstances!!!

    The summaries are just plain wrong in some cases... It is essential that we can turn them off.

    Sorry you spent a lot of money in A.I. – I hope you kept the receipt.
    This is as stupid as when they online give you a 5-second trailer before the trailer you're about to watch.
    Tell me rationally who's benefitting from this.

    email summary is stupid. A, it is insulting, I am not stupid or lazy an don't need a servant reading emails for me. B it is often incorrect and does not correctly interpret what's going on. C, it invades my privacy. What my Mom says to me in an email is none of your business

    How difficult is it to turn off the AI summaries or to make them optional? They are annoying and add NOTHING other than wasting space on top of my messages.

    I do not want dynamic mail. I have toggled it off. Still, AI is reading all my messages and summarizing. Found a thread here where someone already complained about this and was told the instructions to toggle off were old and sent a link to new instructions....they were the same, and they don't work. How can we toggle off dynamic mail? This feels like AI usage without my consent.

    The AI summaries are not just annoying. They are a serious violation of my privacy. I do not (and will not ever under any circumstances) give Yahoo permission to read my emails, and yet you think it's acceptable to have your AI read all of my private communications. This is absolutely shocking.

    Most definitely get rid of the AI summaries. They are a waste of our time and I have found some of the information to be incorrect. I know what I need to see in each email, so don't force me to scroll through what AI thinks I want to see.

    We do not need AI summaries - this is just annoying. I just need to read my own email. This feature is a waste of effort.
