Add an option to turn off AI summaries.
It might be useful for people with robust business-style accounts, but most of my messages are already short, or they're notifications. It makes the "summaries" redundant and obnoxious.

How difficult is it to turn off the AI summaries or to make them optional? They are annoying and add NOTHING other than wasting space on top of my messages.

I do not want dynamic mail. I have toggled it off. Still, AI is reading all my messages and summarizing. Found a thread here where someone already complained about this and was told the instructions to toggle off were old and sent a link to new instructions....they were the same, and they don't work. How can we toggle off dynamic mail? This feels like AI usage without my consent.

The AI summaries are not just annoying. They are a serious violation of my privacy. I do not (and will not ever under any circumstances) give Yahoo permission to read my emails, and yet you think it's acceptable to have your AI read all of my private communications. This is absolutely shocking.

They are invasive and not relevant to what I do....classic please!!!!!!!!!!!!

Most definitely get rid of the AI summaries. They are a waste of our time and I have found some of the information to be incorrect. I know what I need to see in each email, so don't force me to scroll through what AI thinks I want to see.

We do not need AI summaries - this is just annoying. I just need to read my own email. This feature is a waste of effort.

The fact that this is the 2nd ranked issue and the first one (at the time of writing this review) is the ****** "NEW" LOOK and has more than 20x the comments than this one should make it obvious what the people want. Yahoo has also labeled this one as "planned" as well as addressed all other issues of the top 20 (except 3 of them) and labeled them "planned", "under review", or "gathering feedback". Also if you add up ALL the comments of issues 2-20, there are still 5x more comments on that one than the next 19 issues. Just go back to the old version, or give us the option to. that is honestly all we want.

What is this horrific thing at the top of my email message? I NEVER want this. I pay for Yahoo Mail. Why is this horrific waste of space, waste of my time, fake text appearing when I try to read my messages? I am truly outraged at this nonsense.

Loathe these stupid summaries. I want my old email, without this extra, useless clutter! I don't want my emails read--this is an invasion of my privacy.

AI content and AI summaries should be a choice for the user community to turn off or on.

What does "planned" mean? And do you have an estimated time for the fix?

Stop pre-reading my email messages! I'm getting messages that brag that your chatbox has read my banking statements, so they can summarize them to me! That is rank invasion of my financial records and privacy!

Yahoo mail, you had treated your customers terribly. You are inflicting an upgrade that no one wants, that lets AI read your emails and the only power the user has is to leave the service. I enjoyed the Yahoo mail interface for years (since the beginning) and resisted the pressure to move to gmail but this is a complete and invasion of privacy. It is also incredibly distracting and inaccurate, and makes it more difficult for me to read my own email, with no option to turn this off. You've ruined the service you provide.

REMOVE ALL AI INTRUSION FROM MY EMAIL. NO PREVIEWS. NO HIGHLIGHTED MESSAGES. NO GROUPING. NOTHING. OR GIVE US OPTION TO HAVE OWN GUI AGAIN. NO AI

Hey hi, I see the new Terms of Service has a li'l AI update. I quote "by utilizing our Services you consent to sharing data that you provide to us, or that resides within your Yahoo account inbox with our AI Providers for the purpose of enhancing features within our Services made available to you. In some instances, use of AI query features may be governed by the AI Provider's terms of service and privacy policy." It also goes on to say AI generated content "may contain inaccuracies" and not to rely on them, Yahoo guarantees nothing etc etc.
Bro, it also says if we don't agree to the terms we can cancel out accounts, which, you got it. It's been 25 years. I'm genuinely sad about this, Yahoo has been a perfectly good service for literally decades. I do wonder how many other users will be walking. Thanks for the years it worked, and also, byeeee -

this is the worst email feature I have ever seen bar none. I didn't think you could ruin something so simple as email. Someone sends me a message, I want to read that message. Not with Yahoo mail!

Well Admin, what's 'heavily requested" is the option to go back to the OLD CLASSIC email, like that we wouldn't have to deal with this AI stuff that nobody wants and that you didn't even bother to have the option READY so that we can turn it off, "coming soon" doesn't cut it when we are forced to deal with this b-s. Unprofessional and unacceptable.
