See Number of Unread Emails
I have no overview of how many emails are in my Inbox. Very annoying. Please show that again.

I would like to see the total number of emails I have on my account.

A feature that has been dropped is showing how many unread emails I have. Whatever moron decided to set the default to Priority instead of All, is also probably the one that thought you should drop this because the total would have to change depending on if you were seeing All or Priority. Having the Unread total is very, very helpful.

They have this on the new UI but the number of unread messages is always wrong. It will say 3 when there is only 1, etc.

Another vote to add back the unread count. Having it on the browser tab doesn't work when one has a lot of tabs open and the text in the tab isn't visible

Thanks Jack for bumping up! We will keep this thread open and alive. We will also continue to share this with the right team. Thanks again!

Bumping up this idea! Since the Drafts folder already has a number next to it, Inbox should as well.

The left side panel on the new Yahoo Mail needs to show the number of unread emails with a number beside the email inbox icon. As of now, (November 19, 2024) it is too hard to see unread messages in the inbox because there is no number that says, how many emails are unread.

Please bring back the folder counts to keep track of how many emails are there. Missing in the drafts folder, too. Maybe missing on all of them.
