Make Trash and Spam Folders More Accessible
why make things harder to access? there's plenty of room in the left menu bar for those to be openly accessible.

The new design created unnecessary mouse clicks and navigation to clear Spam and Trash. Might not be considered Critical, but I don't need to spend any extra time managing emails that I don't want/need. Make it smarter not harder. Pretty simple concept.

I don't have SPAM folder. Help says
" Open the Spam folder. If you dont see the "Spam" folder, click More below the "Sent" folder.
"
There is no SPAM folder anywhere. -

How do you uncollapse the folder view??? I can't find it in settings and the Help function is useless. I am so frustrated with this new email I am nearly in tears. Please bring back the old one!

The old format was much easier to find spam and trash folders and easier on the eyes.

I do not want to have to click the three dots just to empty the trash and spam folders. Also, sometimes an important email goes to spam and you can be less likely to check it since it is hidden

I regularly empty out my spam and trash - why add another click?

Why would you intentionally choose to hide the SPAM folder at the bottom of the page, behind 2 extra clicks under the ... menu?!

I want my trash, archive, spam folders visible on the left. I don't want to click on 3 dots to get to them. And I want to be able to arrange them the way I want. This changing things around is BS. Don't fix what isn't broke just to make things different.

Agree, the spam, archive, and trash are an extra click away and then hide after you go back to the inbox. This is a horrible idea. Just making usability worse.

Hi there, please make sure you are checking the other ideas before creating more and more. We'd really appreciate it. This has already been requested many times, we will merge this with the main thread. Thanks.

SPAM folders should not be hidden under the three dots ...
It should be visible in the primary column since some users check that daily as important mail is often erroneously sent there. It puts users at risk of missing critical emails that could impact their accounts/business/etc.

I check Spam folder daily as some messages are misinterpreted as spam. Jus want a single click back to access Spam!

I have several folders that I created myself and below those is the "..." that I have to scroll down to to access my trash and especially important, to delete spam. It is ridiculous that I this hamburger menu is hidden below all my other files - I should have an option to place the trash and spam folders back where they belong which is where the inbox, sent and draft folders are. This is really just stupid design and I think I will go back to the old yahoo mail due solely to a bad design decision here.

If you use these often where you put them is no easy as all ... Pinning allows both ideas to work where if they are not important (as some UI design apparently thought) then fine they are hard to find ... but if they are useful (like they are for me and others based on comments) then I can pin them so I can get to them easily.

This is so stupid that you have to click further down to access the spam folder and the trash folder. Put them higher up on the left margin!!! Get rid of starred, nobody uses it anyway. And make it so you can put the folders in any order you wish. This really sucks the way it is!!!

Please add back more navigation buttons on the left side - like the spam and trash folders. I check my spam folder a lot, and having to take that extra step to hunt own the folder is annoying. As is the fact that my personal folders won't "stick" - stay open. There's plenty of room to be able to have those open and accessible. Thanks.

I need to check spam every day and this is really annoying. Don't fix things that aren't broken

It is annoying to have to click the 3 dots to see additional options. I would like to be able to choose what I want to see on the side bar. This alone may have me switch back to the old version.

We are merging all threads on making Trash and Spam folders more accessible and we will continue to share your feedback with the team. Thanks!

Please add SPAM and Trash folders to the standard list of folders without having to click the three dots to view the folders.
