Make Trash and Spam Folders More Accessible
why make things harder to access? there's plenty of room in the left menu bar for those to be openly accessible.

fire and slap who ever the **** thought that changing it up was going to be a good idea. EVERYONE INVOLVED NEEDS TO BE FIRED FOR ASTOUNDING STUPIDITY! ever here of ( if it ain't broke don't fix it?) well it ******* broken. reinventing fire or the wheel is about as good an idea as this trash. I will be dropping Yahoo mail for important business because I want to actually get my emails and I actually want to clean my mailbox and now I can't do either. I have never wanted to beat someone before but the team of idiots that thought up NEED AN ASSKICKING!

Yahoo Mail should be show Spam and Trash folder. It's difficult and so annoying to press more / less in order to select to see email.
It should be not hide any folder best.

Such simple design principles like making important things such as your spam and trash folder as accessible as possible were completely fumbled entirely and it is utterly ******* confounding how frequently large corporations make these sorts of mistakes.
Legitimately a team of amateurs would not make a mistake *this* large.Deviantart did this with Eclipse and their userbase cratered. Stop listening to shareholders which don't even use your website and listen to the users who do.
\You will probably lose about as much keeping this change as you would just rolling it back. -

I switched to Basic Mail last weekend, but not being able to drag and drop messages to folders, but having to click the toolbar button and select the folder then click the apply button was just too cumbersome for every message I wanted to move, so I switched back to the new mail.
It's still a pain to have to click to show the SPAM folder and not being able to click delete, then simply press RETURN to delete SPAM messages, however.

People, I switched to Basic Mail, now.
Ÿou can see all the folders all the time, you can empty Trash and Spam with one click (without going inside those folders).
Yes it does not have all the advanced functions but at least it's got those BASIC ones.
Yes it does not have any graphic but at least it's not all grey with gmail rounded edges.
I am an older person and I don't need today's kids to redesign all my favoriet websites to adapt mobile phone look. I'm tired of all their experiments.
I stay with Yahoo Basic Mail. -

I check my Spam/Junk every day. Annoying that there is now an extra step to access it.

The Unread folder was the most convenient function to go through mail that is filtered. Now filter option in emails is gone and the unread folder is buried in a pop-up that is difficult to get to. Please restore the Unread folder to the main folder options at the top, and re-activate the ability to filter from individual emails! This version is so much less functional than the prior version

Please include the Spam and Trash folders in the left bar by default. Please add back the quantity of messages in those folders and a trash can icon to delete the contents of that folder.

Spam and Trash folders should be:
- easily visible;
- in the same section as Inbox, Sent, etc.;
- above the "Folders" section (should be achieved simultaneously with the above point). -

I have to go to settings and use zoom to lessen the size of side panel in order to see the ... to get to spam. It's a drag. Please make spam more accessible. I did go back to basic version and yes the spam folder is there in a handy dandy place but search is gone. So back to newer version for that feature. Hiding folders isn't cool. I have to check it multiple times a day because one person on my contact list keeps going to my spam folder no matter how many times I click on "not spam". I looked up why it's happening, Yahoo said contact sender. I did. They checked everyone the send to and no one is having that issue but me. Still not fixed.

You can go back to classic version by going to the three dots look like this ... it's under folders locate settings scroll down until you locate switch to basic email and click on it takes you to the classic version. You can also sort by oldest to newest or newest to oldest in Inbox, Spam, Trash folders, etc. Hope this helps.

Allow the user to adjust the width of the folder column (too narrow) vs the email column (too wide). As it is, you can only hide the left column. When you want to see your folder names, only half the text is visible because the email column takes too much space. This means the user has to scroll to each folder to find the correct one. Too much time!
Example: I have folders named 2025: 1st quarter, 2025: spring, 2025: summer. With the new version I can only see 2025: 1st, 2025: s, etc. Therefore I have to click/scroll each folder to determine which one I want. Just make the column adjustable so I can decide how much I want to see in each column.
