Scrolling through mail is jumpy as it skips emails
Scrolling through email is impossible. I use the scroll wheel on my mouse to look through email as I use a pc. I can start at the top and after one or two short scrolls down it jumps down so I miss several hours of emails For example, my newest email came at 6:12pm today..After I get down to 4:20pm it jumps to mail received at 1pm without my even scrolling and when I go back up I see I missed 32 emails received. No matter how many times I go back to the top and try again it always happens. It's frustrating as I can't read what's in my inbox if it's going to keep skipping emails. This never occurred in the old format. Something is wrong. Maybe you make this version for phone and not for pcs? Then you need to offer two separate versions, one an app and the other a web based service like old mail.

After performing an action on an email (read or delete), the inbox view automatically refreshes and scrolls back to the top of the message list (oldest/newest, depending on sort). This behavior forces me to manually scroll down again to find my previous position, which disrupts workflow and is both inefficient and time-consuming.
Is there a setting or configuration option to persist scroll position in the inbox so that the view doesn’t reset after each action?
After I read or delete an email, the inbox annoyingly refreshes and jumps right back to the top of the list. It completely throws me off because I then have to scroll all the way down again just to find where I left off. Honestly, it’s disruptive and a waste of time.
What I expect is simple: the inbox should keep me in place after I take an action, instead of resetting me to the top every single time. At the very least, there should be an option to keep the scroll position so I don’t lose my spot.

When clicking in the trash can item on the list of emails (web version new ui), it deletes the email but it takes you back to the top of the list. So to check the next email, I have to scroll down the list to find where I am. I will probably delete the next email, which then takes me back to the top of the list and I have to scroll again. This endeless scrolling when cleaning mail emails are very annoying.

Not sure why, but I can't scroll down through my display of unread emails. It keeps bouncing me back to the top of my unreads. This has GOT to be fixed

Every time I sort or delete an email from my inbox the cursor returns to the top of the inbox; instead the cursor should stay at the level of the sorted/deleted email in order to continue to clear sorted or unwanted emails. Since using the new version of Yahoo email it seems I cannot keep up with email sorting due to this issue since it annoys me to keep having to page down to where I left off. Otherwise, I really like the new version of Yahoo email and hope this issue can be resolved. Thank you.

Please make it so one does not have to jump around after viewing an email, to have to navigate to go where you first were. I was able to change the option of deleting an email(it comes back to where you were first viewing), BUT if you just view an email and exit out--you are not where the original email was. Please STOP the 'jumping around movement' of where we are currently viewing. It definitely makes for a longer period of viewing email than I want to spend.

The scroll bar to move down the list of folders does not work right when moving a message to a folder, but this problem only happens when I'm starting from one message being read.
Everything is okay if I start from the message list.
Basically, the scroll bar only scrolls within the window. This makes it hard to reach the folder I want, especially since I have a large number of folders.

I have noticed that because of how the scroll bars work, I can only send a message I have composed if I first pop it out. This extra step is annoying and takes extra time.
Please fix this!!!

As I scroll through my emails, whenever I open one, then close it to continue scrolling instead of seeing the next email in the list, the list jumps back up to the first email. This is frustrating and time consuming. CAN YOU FIX THIS PROBLEM?

when scrolling through messages the yahoo mail page suddenly seems to automatically refresh and sends me back to the beginning. This happens every 10 to 30 seconds making it difficult to go through the emails

After I drag and drop that message into a different folder, STOP DEFAULTING BACK TO THE TOP OF THE EMAILS
[latest post] ??? Keep the cursor at the SAME time level THAT IT WAS AT ,before I moved the message???
also, AT BOTTOM OF MESSAGE COLuMN ADD SMALL BOX WITH BLUE 'RETURN TO TOP' ARROW.

Hi Diane, yes we keep seeing this reported, but we can't fix it until we get more info. Can you please be that person that gives us more info? We need the browser (since there's tons out there), the browser version and a video of this happening. We cannot replicate the issue. So again, please email us this info at oasis.mail.feedback@yahooinc.com. Thank you!

When I delete an email, it returns to the 'top' to show my most recent. For example, if I'm going through emails and deleting #20 in the list, I want to then look at #21 and #22, not go back to the top and start going through all of them again. Just move me to #21. Or even #19. But please not to the beginning, I can do that myself very easily. Finding where I left off, not so much.

I do not need my inbox to constantly refresh while I am scrolling through it. It's an annoyance.

In the inbox, you click search on an email to look at all the emails from that sender. Then when you close that window, Yahoo used to bring you back to the location in your inbox where you found the email but over the past week or two, it almost always brings you back to the top of your inbox. This is incredibly frustrating because if the email is a few hundred or thousand down in your inbox and you want to get back to it, you either have to remember the date of it so you can scroll back to that date or remember the sender and type it into the search bar.

When deleting an email in the inbox, it deletes and jumps back to the beginning of all emails. Not needed. Just needs to stay in same spot.
Please make the "unread" (sort by senders name) functionality work! -

Using the latest old version of Yahoo mail, it would be nicer if when opening email on other than the 1st page did not auto reset back again to 1st page...just started doing that on both my Edge and G.Chrome browsers.

Thank you for letting us know! This has been an issue, but we keep asking someone to send us more info like what browser are you using? What browser version? Can you send us a video? This would all be useful as we cannot replicate this issue. Please send to oasis.mail.feedback@yahooinc.com. Thank you!
