Scrolling through mail is jumpy as it skips emails
Scrolling through email is impossible. I use the scroll wheel on my mouse to look through email as I use a pc. I can start at the top and after one or two short scrolls down it jumps down so I miss several hours of emails For example, my newest email came at 6:12pm today..After I get down to 4:20pm it jumps to mail received at 1pm without my even scrolling and when I go back up I see I missed 32 emails received. No matter how many times I go back to the top and try again it always happens. It's frustrating as I can't read what's in my inbox if it's going to keep skipping emails. This never occurred in the old format. Something is wrong. Maybe you make this version for phone and not for pcs? Then you need to offer two separate versions, one an app and the other a web based service like old mail.

The mail app should never lose the user's place or context during normal use. If a user is scrolling through their inbox and takes an action—like replying, forwarding, or reading an email—they should be returned to the exact same spot afterward, not sent back to the top of the inbox.
This issue appears in several places throughout the app, and in some cases, it's intermittent. Here are a few examples:
Example 1: Scrolling Bug
If you scroll down through a long list of emails (e.g., to read messages from last week) and then try to scroll back up slowly, the view suddenly jumps to the top of the inbox. This makes it nearly impossible to scroll up just a few rows at a time. This behavior happens inconsistently but frequently enough to be frustrating.Example 2: Action Context Loss
When replying to or forwarding an email (or even canceling a forward), the app should return the user to the exact same spot in the inbox, not to the top. Many users manage multiple emails in sequence, and losing their place makes this very inefficient.Example 3: Reading Sequential Emails
If you start reading older emails and use the down arrow to move through them one by one, clicking the "X" from inside the email should return to the same spot but it jumps you back to the top instead of where you left off. This breaks the flow and forces users to scroll again to find their place. These behaviors disrupt the user experience and should be addressed. Please test these scenarios across popular browsers (Safari, Chrome, Edge, Arc, etc.) to ensure consistent behavior.
Thanks for your attention to this—it would make a big difference in usability.

When looking at older emails, & moving an email to a folder, I'd like for it to not scroll all the way back to the top of all my emails and to stay where I was at when I moved the older email. I keep having to scroll back down to look at the next emails that I was working on.

Scrolling is jumpy, unstable, keeps jumping back up.

When I scroll down the page to the beginning of the days emails, it keeps jumping back to the top of the page, then when I finally get there and read an email, when I delete it it jumps back to the top of the page again when I scroll back down the page to where I was, it keeps jumping back to the top or sometime farther down the page. It's a pain in the butt to have to fight just to read my emails in order.

For some reason, when I close my email, my cursor does not return to the one I just read. Instead, it goes to a random earlier email, some as old as the previous day or older. I thought I was being billed twice for something when the cursor jumped to the previous day's email.
