Number of TOTAL emails - Not Just Unread
I would like to be able to see the number of total items in my inbox without having to hover or take an extra step. I know you can see the number of unread items by hovering but I would like to know the total number of items read and unread without having to hover.

This has now been added to the new version. When you hover over your Inbox, you will now see both total number and unread number. Thanks for your suggestion! This has been completed. If you need additional help, please feel free to create a new thread. Thank you!

Hello Yahoo Mail,
I came back to New Yahoo Mail because I hate the inbox ads in the old one, like the Dark Theme, and to see what has changed. It has been approximately 3-4 months, and the number of unread messages is still not showing on my Main Account. (The one that I have had the longest.) A newer Yahoo Mail account of mine has the number of unread messages included. When will we see this feature added across all accounts?

How can I tell how many opened emails are in my my Inbox? There used to be a total when you over over the Inbox icon.
What happened to the 'Go to Top' button for the Inbox listing? It is not easy anymore to return to the top when you way down in the emails Inbox.

How do I get to know the total number of mails in the inbox? It shows unread message count on hovering, but total message count is not available.
