Please make a way to CLOSE the huge panel on the right...the one that has the "starred" messages, contacts, and settings.

I want to be able to see MORE of my email messages and CLOSE that right-hand box completely. PLEASE!

This is a waste of space and mostly useless unless I want to OPEN it. I want to HIDE the panel and get it out of the way so I can see my messages better.

Yes, I'm on a PC desktop. I've been with Yahoo mail for 25 years...but this new format is a struggle....for my eyes and brain.
