Playoffs - Edit matchups for every round.
This feature would allow commissioners to edit the matchups for every round of the playoffs. Currently, only the first round of the playoffs can be changed.

a must as it allows the commissioner to use alternate methods of seeding and tie breakers that are not available in the yahoo format.

CBS sportsline has ability to customize playoffs to basically whatever you want. I switched to Yahoo for this year but looks like I'm going back to CBS because of this unless Yahoo puts this functionality in. It is really basic, not sure why it's not here.

Our league would like to adopt a different playoff schedule since there is the additional week this year. Basically, in our 12 team league, we'd like to have week 14 be a battle between the 7th vs 10th and the 8th vs 9th. Then the lowest seed would battle the 1 seed and so on for weeks 15 and 16, with the championship happening in week 17. Is this possible. Very similar to the real NBA playoffs this past season.

More customization would be great too. Now that there is an 18 week NFL season, I talked to my commish about doing a 14 week regular season, weeks 15&16 for the semifinals, and weeks 17&18 for the finals. He tells me this isn't an option. Leagues should be able to set the playoffs however they want, not fit into a box that yahoo has pre-designated. We have a faction in our league that wants us to move to ESPN for reasons like this.

My league uses the NFL tie-breaker procedures to determine playoff seeds. I normally have to go back and edit previous weeks' game scores and add 200 points to adjust a teams season point total to force a higher seeding. It would be great if the commissioner could manual change playoff seeding.

Customizable playoffs. I want a 5 team playoff to be an option for a 12 team league. I like the % of teams being 5 of 12 as opposed to 4 or 6. The way to do it is week 13 is a bye for 1st and 2nd seeds. Week 13 for seeds 3-5 would have a points matchup. Top 2 scorers advance. Week 14 resumes normal playoff format for matchups.

At the bare minimum the consolation for a 10 team six playoff bracket league needs to be fixed. The four consolation teams not in the championship bracket should not all be on byes the first week of the playoffs. This is just dumb. They should play out their consolation bracket week 1 and 2 of the playoffs, and that third week of the fantasy playoffs should be reserved for those teams that earned it, the teams playing for third and fourth, and the championship.

Yes, we need to have 2 weeks for Super Bowl in fantasy!

First-year with Yahoo.... previously on CBS Sportsline for 15 years. Our league allows the top seed to choose their opponent. It's an advantage rewarded for being a Top-Seeded Team in a Round.
For the Semi-Final Round, the #1 Seed fresh off their bye gets to choose from the 2 winners of the Opening Round. I was able to change the seedings in the 1st Round to allow the #3 Seed to choose their opponent. But the reseeding option is now locked down for the Semi-Final Round.
CBS allows the Commissioner to set the Playoff Matchups, it was very easy. It seems like a nice option to add. At this point, our Semi-Final Matchups will be different than the Website. Maybe we will get lucky and the Final Game will matchup, but upsets will have to happen. We are still able to track the scoring, but the matchups being different than the website is not ideal.

Agree. League I run allows the 1 seed to pick their semifinal matchup, and in the past it has worked out to where existing seeding allows for the correct matchup. However this year it doesn’t, and I’m unable to go in and edit semi final matchups or adjust our re-seed option since the playoffs have started.

I need the Lock Eliminated Teams to NO. However since the playoff week technically started I am unable to change it. This should be a changeable option throughout. And of course the Yahoo help team never returns messages so they can maybe make this change after the fact.

Yahoo should allow the commisioner to change the teams making the playoffs. We track an alternate scoring system outside of Yahoo. Even though we are a head to head league, we would like to have the 6th place wild card team be the best ALL PLAY scoring team not in the playoffs take that spot. C'mon Yahoo, make this change!

My league's consolation tournament uses the 2 teams who lose in Round 1 of the playoffs and I'd like to manually change their brackets when the playoffs begin.

What everyone needs to remember is that there are all sorts of dishonest commishes out there and too much flexibility just helps them cheat. Why would you need to reseed them weekly anyway? You have the option to stick with original seeding or to reseed based on results.

The ability to manually edit the playoffs allows for a huge variety of playoff formats and in my opinion is the most glaring issue miss on Yahoo’s part to date. Love Yahoo, league in its 11th year, just really need this change for 2019!!
