Dynasty/Keepers - Leave league open to allow trading, adds, and drops during the offseason.
This would allow managers to make all league transactions within the platform, including adds, drops, and trades, throughout the year.

As commissioner of a private keeper league. Managers have requested that I open the trade block prior too the keeper player final slection for 2014. Currently, the trade block is not available until after our 2014 draft. We'd find it more competitive and realistic if the block was opened prior too the draft, as we allow the trade of draft picks and players.~

Yahoo just doesn't get it. Of course they should allow player trades in the off season for keeper leagues. Right now the poor commish has to keep track of it all manually and adjust the rosters because Yahoo is too stoooooopid to understand the nature of keeper leagues.

Not prior to draft...Prior to Keeper tags!!! This will allow us to make trades for players and picks before we designate our keeper tags. Most leagues only allow certain number of keepers(3, 4, we do 7). If you allow trades prior to tagging we can upgrade team keepers and draft picks(i.e.;Gordon and a 3rd pick for Bell and a 2nd pick). Think Madden Dynasty leagues, were one can trade two players for one and then make keeper tags, then draft. Finally, quicker the better. As it takes time for managers to conduct a trade. Thanks!

Agreed. I don't understand the reasoning for disabling the trade function during the preseason in a keeper league.

I sent in a request to customer care regarding pre-season trades of players and draft picks. CC, suggested that managers figure the trade via text or calling and then the commish needs to adjust accordingly. This is not user friendly and not sure if it can be done. Please open the trading block prior to keeper tags, as we'd find it more competitive and realistic. thanks

not having trades carried into a new season makes it very tasking on the commish to reorganize the rosters manually. I would love to see a way to make trades or input prior trades before the season starts.

This is essential! I'd been wanting Draft Pick Trades forever and then it was finally available; however, it seems severely flawed that they would not be allowed BEFORE or DURING a Draft being conducted!
Draft Pick Trades (any trades for that matter) completed prior to the Draft would be subject to the same rules as in-season trades...

I also agree. I would like to be able to cut some guys prior to the draft. When looking at Pre-draft trade possibilities, it would be nice if I didn't have to wade through kickers and defenses.

I agree fully! What's the point of having a keeper league if you can not make off season trades involving picks and players!
