As much as you'd like stat corrections to be quicker, unfortunately the NFL itself makes the vast majority of stat corrections for the previous week on Wednesday night. Thats why Yahoo stat corrections hit on Thursday mornings. Yahoo can't change it until the NFL does. And the NFL is not.
NFL finalizes its own stat corrections on Wednesday night, which is why Yahoo processes it betweeen midnight and early morning Thursday. You are asking Yahoo to correct stats before the NFL does it itself. LOL. How stupid can you be? Stop being such a cry baby and grow up.

After begging Yahoo to keep the site open for post season trades and the like, we've decided to move our three keeper/dynasty leagues to another host. I mean this thread has been around in various forms for over 5 years now. Face it people: Yahoo isn't going to change anything to acommodate keeper/dynasty leagues. They just don't care. Either that or they are totally inept at making simple changes. Regardless, we've waited long enough. We are gone. When it comes to providing quality customer service, Yahoo really is inferior to almost all the other fantasy sites.
to continue from the post below... in a keeper league, a trade was just made (May 26th) Of course, the trade could not be offered and accepted on Yahoo, so it was done by private email between the parties. Commish tries to use Commish's adjust teams/roster function and get this result:
The league has not drafted. You cannot make this action. (Error #156)
The league has not drafted. You cannot make this action. (Error #156)
Frankly, this is beyond stupid. Of course the commish should be allowed to move the players. In fact, the ordianry trade functionality should remain open to allow the teams to make the trade upon commissioner approval just like after the draft and during the season. I fail to understand why Yahoo doesn't get this. It's not that complicated. Yahoo is so behind the times. Well, I guess you get what you pay for. Which in Yahoo's case is nothing. Absolutely ridiculous.
Hey Yahoo Administrators... how about it? Or do you want to keep Yahoo in the dark ages? And just why is Yahoo so damned stupid? It's like a bunch of children are runnig the show.
it is so damned frustrating that our keeper leagues and dynasty leagues can't make trades or do anything until after our draft in late August. It's ridiculous and pathetic. Commish has to track everything on a spread sheet, and even he has no power to move players from one team to another until after the draft. Yahoo is so behind the times and utterly incompetent when it comes to keeper and dynasty format. Geez... how many years does it take for Yahoo to wake up and see what people want.
cause your season is over and Yahoo is the only ******** site that doesn't let Keeper and Dynasty leagues stay open for the whole year. You are sh!t out of luck because Yahoo doesn't respect Keeper/Dynasty leagues. Everything has to be done off line for your leagues in the off season.
In other words... Yahoo still sucks and it's disregard for the wishes of its loyal users is an abomination.
Hey Yahoo.... wake the F--- UP!!! Season is over and we still can't make off season trades (for keeper leagues). Why? Don't you READ these forums and listen to what we are begging you to do?
Or, as I expect, do you simply not care? Watch with amazement as more loyal Yahoo users run to other more user-friendly and Keeper league-friendly hosts.
You guys stink. You had 9 months since this request started and you did nothing. You fail. I hope everyone sells their Yahoo stock because if the rest of the company is as customer-unfriendly as the Yahoo fantasy sites are, then Yahoo will be going down like the Titanic.
Again, Yahoo fantasy football managers suck. No response to any legitimate requests = we are starting to hate you.
WTF? This request was made almost a year ago and now there are 90 comments supporting it. Yet Yahoo has done NOTHING to make any changes. How DISRESPECTFUL can Yahoo be to its users by failing to even provide the courtesy of a response?
This confirms that Yahoo fantasy football is being managed by a small group of arrogant azzholes who have no regard for the users. What an awful company Yahoo has become.

If this is a private league, just have the commish hit the "set draft order" button. Geez. If it's a public league, well you get what you pay for. Yahoo public leagues are awful

good idea. Gotta love the post by "anonymous" below (obviously a Yahoo employee) who just throws it back in the face of the person making the request to do it himself. So typical of Yahoo. Moron.

I have been begging Yahoo to allow position limits for private leagues for almost a decade. I'll post a link to the thread, that started a few years ago. It's the 4th most voted request in "Top Ideas". Might as well add your useless vote there too. Join the party.
Yahoo is way too backwards to consider doing this. Meanwhile, most other pay sites allow it. Yahoo is always waaaaaaaaay behind the times. It's like 1995 over at yahoo. What does this mean? You get what you pay for. Yahoo is free and offers virtually zero innovation. Better off at MFL or RTS where you can customize every aspect of your league including playoffs. Yahoo sucks donkey balls..... always has and always will.

LOL, he's a RB not a WR. But because he catches balls you want him to be WR eligible? Sorry, but that is simply absurd. He's a RB. Get a grip.

goes to show you that PPR is stupid to begin with. Why in the world would a single catch for 30 yards be the equivalent value of 4 catches for zero yards? Makes no sense. PPR has been stuoid since the day it was invented.
waste of time, juvenile and annoying.
Yahoo eliminated this. Just like they eliminated smack talk, team slogans and team names still can't exceed a measly 20 characters. Anything to **** off the Yahoo users I guess. We are moving our 4 Yahoo leagues to a different site next year. One that has a much better draft interface (Yahoo's is simply horrendous), one that allows people to post pictures, gifs, have team names longer than 20 characters and and promotes smack talk. All Yahoo does is take the fun out of everything it does the last few years . Face it folks. Yahoo sucks and won't be getting any better. Time to move ahead and leave the aging dinosaur to become extinct. Rest in Peace, Yahoo.
well "anonymous", same back atcha... a great big F-U to you and your Yahoo staff. Way to go. Removing nice features that everyone actually likes. Mu Lord, does Yahoo suck.

The rule is that all starting positions must be filled before back ups are drafted. That is why Ks and Ds are drafted before any back up position players."
hey "anonymous", tell your dopey Yahoo colleagues that the rule is STUPID and should be changed.
Yahoo mock drafts are completely useless once you hit round 8 because it starts to autopick defenses and then kickers in round 9. Unfortunately, it is extremely rare that all participants in a random mock hang around... usually more than half of the participants are letting Yahoo select by the time they get to round 4 or 5. Thus we are stuck with terribly unrealistic mocks once we hit round 8. Not useful to practice and very frustrating. The only solution is to add defenses and kickers in the mid teens... NOT in rounds 8 & 9. SImply put, as so many others have said in as many words, "Yahoo, why you so stupid?"

Oh Yahoo..... why u so STUPID?
Make the frigging change already. You've already made everyone wait several years. Get your Yahoo head out of your Yahoo A--!!!
common sense: use fractional scoring and eliminate the nonsensical ceiling of 5 points. A 62 yard field goal is and should always be 6.2 points. As is often asked: Yahoo, why you so stupid?
why is this issue still being discussed? Over 3 years now. Just do it Yahoo. Stop being stubborn a-holes. Not one negative opinion on making this change in any of the multiple threads on it. What's wrong with you at Yahoo anyway? How about listening to us for once please?
Then that's 16 different times that the number of points for a kicker SHOULD have been 6+ points. 16 times that yahoo slighted the owners of those kickers and 16 times that OTHER fantasy football hosts got it right and Yahoo got it wrong. Thanks for pointing that out Anonymous. Just proves there is no legitimate excuse for not allowing 6 points for 60+. No excuse at all. Saying "it rarely happens" is a cop out. Just fix the obsolete software already.
Also, why the **** doesn't Yahoo provide fractional points for the exact length of the field goal? i.e. 3.7 points for a 37 yarder, 4.9 points for a 49 yarder? Every other freaking site on planet Earth does it right except Yahoo which still has its collective head up its you-know-what pretending it is still 1998.

Instead of all that fluff, I'd just prefer Yahoo to get the kicking scoring right. Fractional points Yahoo, fractional points for all FGs above 30 yards. 35 yard FG = 3.5 pts. 47 yard FG = 4.7. 62 yard FG = 6.2.
People have been requesting this now for over 5 years but Yahoo has acted like an a-hole and done nothing. That's just Yahoo being.... well... Yahoo.
