Allow members to be the commissioner of a league without having a team in the league.

Since co-manager now appears to be gone this has become essential. There is no workaround.

Allow somebody to be commissioner of an NHL fantasy league without having a team

I'm a commissioner of a promotion style competition where we have multiple leagues of teams, top 5 promote, bottom 5 demote. I need the Ghost Commish powers in order to maintain consistency and fairness across leagues. Absurd that this functionality doesn't yet exist.

I'm a commissioner of a multi-tier system league. The best three teams of a league promote to the next tier and the three worst teams demote to the previous tier. I need the Ghost Commish feature, the ability to commish a league without being a manager in it. This season as a manager I'm going down to the 2nd tier, so I have to delegate the commissioner's duties to another manager. I'm willing to provide further feedback on this.

It is possible to do currently but as a co manager. You have to assign commish duties to another manager and then he will have to add you as a co manager to his team and reassign you the duties. Its not ideal, how they do does affect your wins/losses etc if that matters to you but it gets you overall to where you wanna be until a better way is added

I'd like to create leagues and be commissioner on behalf of other groups of people (I would not have a team in the league). One barrier to growing the fantasy sports audience is groups of people not having someone knowledgable / confident enough to create a league and be commissioner throughout the season.

We have a large group of people 30-40 running 4
simultaneous leagues (and have switched to a different site bc it allows a bit more flexibility). The main issue is that some owners like To view the other leagues as many of us are friends. Is there any way to add a “viewing only” option So the commish can add emails of people who want to watch? You could also expand this to allow buddies to send invites of their leagues without giving co-owner price pages -

It costs $$ bur Fantrax is a site where you can have two or more leagues like this with separate player pools and even inter division play. The drawback is the moble app sucks and they don't update projections so injured players are projected for same points they were when done before the season..
I run a 30 team league with 3 10 team-fun but tough. -

This is possible today.
You start the leagues with a team in each one, then add the real manager as a co-manager in 1 of the leagues. They can do everything in team management except draft, you would have to draft the players for them, but after that, you could just run the league and then the other person run the team.
League page, Edit Team Info, scroll down to the Co-manager option. All you need is the players email address.

Background - I have been managing my league using Yahoo for the past 6 years. In that time, the demand to be in my league became so popular amongst friends & coworkers (mainly because there's a trophy) that I eventually expanded into 2 12-man leagues (A & B). Unique Rules: You can only win the trophy in League A. The teams to make the playoffs (top 6 teams) in League B move into League A next season. The teams that don't make the playoffs (bottom 6) in League A drop down into League B next season.
Main Point - Since I can only be in one of these leagues I have no commissioner access to manage the other league.
Can a setting be created that makes this possible? Is there already? -

I like it. Were expanding from 16to 20 teams. I'm making a seperate league and I'd like to commish both leagues as well

No, you can co-manage a team, let the other guy manage the team, and you do the commish duties.
You must be affiliated with a team in the league.

I just made a B league which is connected to my main league. Top two teams from the B league get bumped up to the main league. I need to be able to communicate with them but I can't just be a spectator in the B league, right now I have to play with them but I already have a team in the main league.
