[Chat/Message Boards] Message Board Removal Feedback
Fantasy league message boards are no longer available but you can still access historical message board posts through your fantasy profile. Moving forward, we're investing in Fantasy Chat as the place for league communication and urge you to check out some of the recent improvements we've made like adding threading and pinning with polls coming soon.

You're trying to reinvent the wheel..bring back the message board! I don't see the advantage at all.

I dont use the phone app at all,and so far the chat line has been in buffering mode 90% of the time. In addition I dont have a twitter account and dont appreciate being redirected somewhere when im already here !!!!! message board was so much easier !!

Please keep the message boards. My league uses them. It would also be helpful if you added a poll function to the message boards.

Removing message boards is incredibly stupid. I cannot think of a more stupid change you could make.

My league will be switching to a different platform this season

Unless message boards are added back this will be our last season using yahoo for our fantasy football league. We've used yahoo our our platform for over 15 years and its far too critical of a tool for us.

Getting rid of the message boards will not add users but an option for TE Premium will.
1.5 ppr for TE's (long overdue update)
Also, the message boards will be missed.

Great business model Yahoo! We could use this idea where I work. I will recommend that we REMOVE THE STEERING WHEELS from all the cars we produce. Cars can all drive themselves now anyway. Who cares what the customer wants! It will save us a fortune in production costs!

Terrible move. The message boards were used for long recap type posts and in depth rule discussions. They are essential to running a league properly and having entertainment type posts such as league power rankings and matchup breakdowns. The heartbeat of a fantasy league. Brutal decision making.

I really hate this! I've been running this league for 16 years and we use them for anything that needs to be threaded - confirming they'll play, picking draft date, league announcements, rule changes, keepers etc. Also, the interface for chat is horrible rn! Finally I run another league where everything I said here also applies. It all seems so unnecessary.

Please let the leave vote on things inside the chat that’s the only change needed

This change is a disaster. Yahoo please add back the message boards. There are long-form posts that need to be readily accessible, like the league bylaws. This is a disgrace.

We started using regular texting for league communications last year. It worked much better than message boards or email. Will try the chat/message board, but will likely stick to the group texting.

This is a terrible change. I have alot of older guys and we dont know anything about fantasy chat and i use message board to discuss alot of things going on with the league so everyone can see it.

Did Yahoo hire the Bud Light marketing team? Removing the message board and replacing it with ads to purchase Yahoo fantasy kits, draft guides, and other for sale content is the worst idea imaginable. After skimming back to the beginning of this thread I see almost universal dislike for this chatbot nonsense. Almost everyone thinks this is a TERRIBLE idea. The best fantasy websites provide users with as much information pertaining to their league as possible. Not inundating us with ads and sales content!!! Yahoo was the premiere fantasy football destination, but that was a decade ago. It seems to me they have gotten worse every season. This will most likely be my leagues last year here. The complaints from my managers are deafening!!!

Bring back the Message Boards. My leagues have some guys that have been in it for 20+ years. I am retired from the military and the league started with a group of us that worked together at the time. The core few have stayed together the whole time while some left and we would find replacements with other people we currently worked with at the time. We are all older now and have used the message board for years. We have used it to stay in contact, update what is going on in our lives and talk about the sport. You killed the message board in baseball this year and the chat didn't get used. The kids may like the chat better because they do everything for the season on their smart phones. Us older guys that have done it for decades now, still do most of it on our computers at home and want our message board back.
