I would like to see the draft order set at least a week or two ahead of the draft.
If you set the draft order a couple of weeks or more ahead of the draft, we wouldn't have to waste time mock drafting from every position to get an idea of who is going where. In the real world teams know months in advance what their draft position is. Why not set the order as soon as the league is full?

If you create a Private League, you will have the ability as the commissioner to randomize the draft weeks ahead of time or set a custom draft order.
