Subject: Request for Correction – Travis Hunter’s Dual Scoring Issue in IDP Leagues
Dear Yahoo Fantasy Support Team,
I’m writing to bring urgent attention to a major scoring issue involving Travis Hunter in Yahoo Fantasy Football. Currently, managers are able to start him at Defensive Back (DB) while he continues to accumulate offensive points from his wide receiver stats.
This is more than a minor glitch — it’s a structural scoring loophole that gives one player an overwhelming, unfair advantage in all IDP leagues. Under the current setup, Travis Hunter effectively becomes the most valuable player in fantasy football, combining full offensive production with defensive eligibility. If this continues, he would easily become the number one overall pick in every IDP format, undermining competitive balance across all Yahoo leagues.
I understand that updating the full scoring script mid-season can be challenging, but Yahoo could issue a league-wide advisory or rule adjustment directing commissioners to lock Travis Hunter to the Wide Receiver position only until a permanent fix is implemented. This would prevent escalating frustration and preserve fairness for the remainder of the season.
Please review this issue as soon as possible. Many commissioners and players are expressing growing concern as this imbalance becomes more visible each week. A proactive response from Yahoo would go a long way toward maintaining integrity and trust in your fantasy platform.

Hello Anurag,
With the introduction of Travis Hunter in Fantasy Football, some two-way players who play snaps on offense and defense will earn eligibility at each position type. For example, Travis Hunter is eligible at both WR and CB in leagues that use offensive and defensive roster positions. Learn more about two-way players here.
There won't be any changes to how Hunter is being treated this season. Our fantasy team will review him prior to the next fantasy season.
Commissioners have the ability to edit a team's points for each week, should they want to remove the offense points accumulated by Hunter while in an IDP roster spot.
