Head-To-Head explanation
Hi There...I play in the Yahoo FF league with the Hurricane Hunters (ID# 131778). Currently my team,
"JoeBethDeathnote" is ranked seventh (7th) in our 10-team league but I believe I should be ranked fifth (5th)
since I have beaten the two teams, immediately ranked ahead of me, head-to-head so far this season.
I defeated "Your Knightmare", currently ranked fifth (5th) in week 3, and I defeated "Fourth & Inches of Rain"
in week 10, who is currently ranked sixth (6th). As of this writing my team and the two aforementioned teams
have a record of 5-5 and looking at the current standings the only reason for these two teams to be ranked higher
than me is that both teams have a higher amount of PF points than I have.
Our league chose the Head-to-Head option for Type of Scoring and Best Regular Season Record vs Opponents Wins for the Playoff Tie-Breaker, which I understand to be best regular season record versus an opponent, so I am a bit befuddle as to my current ranking of seventh in our FF league. Head-To-Head wins against an opponent
should be the primary factor for determining the ranking of teams relative to current in-season standings and to playoff positioning.
On another matter, the comments expressed for the weekly roundup should be screened better since a player who scores poorly in a game may have been due to an injury (sometimes seriously) incurred during a game. Trying showing some compassion if that is the case for a player scoring poorly in a game
Please take a look at these two items and I look forward to your response.
