No bench players allowed in my league
In my league we do a normal draft. On opening day, we set our lineups and drop all bench players. The only players allowed on bench are players who get injured, or when they are on bye week. (Bye, Out, IR, and Doubtful) When player is on bench, you can then add a player so you fill lineup, but then drop again by the following Tuesday. It is so much more fun.
In addition I set waiver to time to zero so players dropped can be picked up immediately. At trade deadline I change it to 24 hours.
Normal formats have 60+ players sitting on benches rotting away.
If you could have built in support for this format it would be awesome. Decide which players are bench worthy based on injury or bye status. Etc
It would make commishioner job much easier by removing gray area. For example, I tell managers that the rule is, If midweek they are listed as questionable they cant be on bench. Pregame, if that player changes to out, you put them on bench and pick up replacement.
