So I understand...in public prize leagues:
- only 1 team veto is needed to initiate a review -that team remains completely anonymous -the review is done by an anonymous person -no explanation is provided -there is no appeal process -there is no person or department to contact who can overturn
what exactly stops a person who knows how this works from instigating a review on every trade?
how can users know they are being treated fairly if no explanation is ever given?
how is there no way to appeal this? One man looks at this and makes a snap decision and thats it?
one person, ONE PERSON, who isnt even in the league, who we have no idea of their credentials, can just unilaterally decide what equitable value is?
and obviously i cant get my money back. obviously i cant even directly email someone because the entire process is opaque and non-transparent. stalin would blush at this level of absurd oversight.
I am never EVER returning to this platform.
Every league I am commissioner of or party to will have this story related to serve as reason for moving to Sleeper. At every single level of this story - from the denial, to the none explanation, to the lack of appeal - was more galling and more unbelievable than the last, it amazes me this is in any way legal since its a complete blackbox from top to bottom with zero accountability or transparency
