1. Provide a working option to delete ads

   I keep receiving ads from "MAE WILSON" with titles that include the words Senior and Health. I attempted to click in the box to delete one of these ads, and it 1) locked my computer, 2) set loud warning messages that the Ad had invoked a virus, 3) instructed me not turn my system off since it may results in identity theft, and 4) Call the number to remove the virus.

   I have no way to remove this or other emails from the sender and am concerned they all contain viruses that will lock my system. You did not detect this problem and sent the ad to me. What am I to do? I have no options to block this (or other ads).

   Even though I am using the free email, I should not be subjected to receiving ads with viruses that Yahoo allegedly filters.

   You need to provide a working option to delete ads.

3. Your Chat Bot isn't helpful, you allow predatory ads in inboxes, and your form has a character limit but doesn't display it

   I had a recent conversation with your chat bot where i asked repeatedly how to report a predatory/ scam ad that Yahoo Mail allowed to be displayed in my inbox, and every time I asked, it said it would provide me with instructions, and it did not. I can provide the transcript. It didn't give me any other useful resource for reporting the issue NOR did it provide me with alternatives to report how poorly the chat handled the conversation.

   It also said that there were no live agents available to assist, the only option i could find was the Yahoo+ subscription. General Yahoo users shouldn't have to pay an extra subscription price to report predatory ads. According to the FTC, If a business fails to remove fraudulent ads after being notified, they risk regulatory action. If you only give me one avenue to report a predatory/ scam ad (interacting with the ad and choosing to report it), you are not giving me an adequate opportunity to report the issue nor will you then be able to take action to remove the ad.

   At minimum, there needs to be an avenue to report a predatory/ scam ad within the Yahoo Help site.

4. ensure no impersonation or hacking making persons potentially ill

   not enough space on feedback comment form, I add what put here, I have utterly no trust in computers after appalling experience and maybe hacking of my home laptop church advised I get over five years ago that in the end after help from Currys insurance upgrade, did fail to work and I handed it in for recycling and got ten pound voucher back last year. The gmx I use ta5555@gmx.com that a novel I naively wrote under iphone publish advice years ago that did not sell but good enough to put on Create Space, is stored there and a lot I deleted to save space but still not nice to lose it. Block on 6 weeks, gmx say security issue. I had warnings with bogus flash message once saying id would not work if I lost account that gmx said is bogus. Other issues made me dread stalker on line but no proof. I have lost the account and many tries to say about it and verifying id etc got me nowhere, even put cell phone on site against my wishes but my mobile verifies. E bay that I naively asked to sell for free taking library advice on how set up selling put me needle felt pics to sell last year on site but then said major security issue that my sales site was risk and I dreaded fined for thousands and did not do anything but told customer advisor who believed me and felt somehow was it threat impersonator silly girl saying new sellers sell high stealing my work in US airport but e bay said no but I did not dare go near again and shame for I liked buying odd things though hate buying on line. I have opened new free yahoo account tracy.sss@yahoo.com that works better but some mails sent go to drafts and I have to stress to resend them and last night from Mowbray Gardens library Rotherham where I do adult ed weaving I used computer and sent poems done in legal Sheffield library poem group and they were not in in box today but found in sent, function of yahoo mail not good. I have managed to get 2 stage verification working better in yahoo mail but recently the code to reset did not go fast to outlook and I had to try 3 times today and odd times I think mainly yahoo mails are not getting to source and destination. Barnsley library last year had major computer faults and sheets of alternative log in were left for clients on free computer suite in Lightbox library. I know surprisingly printing is free for ages, and use that facility for I do free art and craft course for therapy being on many years mental health order more under GP now after bad frightening experience persons back of it will not be shamed of. I am not obliged to work but did charity work for years and do art and craft now and use free prints. The printing stopped working and persons had to ask staff for prints released then back to better last few weeks to print by self. The library for over a week has been having major problems with computer function, and seize ups, blank screen bars after searching for links happen a lot, and it took ages to get into yahoo mail and outlook today and 3 times to get verify yahoo code. I then had link say yahoo mail linked to Tumbler and I am wary of tic tok and instagram but before alert found e bay okay technically to order from. I tried to alert that Tumbler may be sabotaging yahoo m ail on search but it locked up. I often find if I make mild complaints on line on e mail that I stop doing now someone stalks me maybe for computer seizes up with no concern for my nerves or suspicion caused and I have asked someone near me other week and he said his computer did not seize up. So who is back of it. I dare not mention suspects to gmx mail anymore but think persons bad enough to impersonate others to replicate some types of bad behaviour without conscience, to fit a dirty showing off racket, that shames few in the league with it, kind of rot that goes on for years, only big gobs heard rating it, is back of it, and to impersonate others and to give impression some minorities are to steal from and lose own id even if on records is shame to respect for admin and contacts supporting human rights of vulnerable minorities that may not have been as vulnerable in a better world with better intent in human hearts of those who make society stink in some parts. I have had international scam on mobile last year saying emergency was I wanting Chinese or English verify and felt someone bad after my passport that I use for adult ed id, but the answerphone did not reply and voice records faded so I know was bogus but very bad to me whoever was back of it. I am trying to get WEA where I did courses to make updates on site work, not taking my new e mail, and not sending lectures to new yahoo mail and it has lost info about my sexuality gender and ID blank as if I am no id or no nationality and they break rules and do not reply, who on earth would trust IT and etc. I would say though I do not talk of these issues in public or private if you let it really affect the computer malfunction in the library is enough to put those suffering previously in a good hospital for rest of life though I do not want that, I want my freedom, it is shameless whoever is back of it. I had same on Facebook someone dubious stole my user profile and said I wanted illegal second account after in past it was praised as good account by Facebook someone bad blocked it and FB said hard to get back but I was not accused of crime, by miracle in sheltered safe space in church office a long time ago I twigged to get it back by new log in as real account but someone bad stole my rights and said I had wanted another one when only allowed one FB account and made new info and friends I had not asked for and FB showed untrustworthy for as with e bay I said cannot have to do with them for life, and closed it with bad technics for close down and they kept sending e mails to gmx as if someone stole password and I wanted to open illegal account again, breaching own rules.    I've been trying to reach a person for weeks now and have gotten no where with fixing my log in issues. At this point I'll be switching over to a different email since I cannot receive the help I need. I had to make a new email just so I could continue to work normally.

   Every time I try to sign in, dick80526@yahoo.com, password is no good, every time, even when I have just the day before changed to get in, well now it again says password is no good, so made me set up Whatup app and sends the code to it then, wants me to close out current email and go to another to get another code, its a real pain in the A to use this yahoo emails. so fix your problems instead of hassling customers. Cant sign in as it wants to submit this complaint. You are abusing your customers!!!

8. Leave dead spaces between clickable items.

   Don't make the entire page clickable to something. This is not accessible to people with arthritis.

   When I am reading an article and I want to scroll using the scrollbar (which is way too small), if I miss the scrollbar, the click takes me somewhere else I did not want to go. Then I can't get back to the article.

   There should be dead spaces that don't do anything next to clickable items.

   The option to mute someone is gone. The ONLY thing to do is report. We need the mute option back. I even clicked on the name, to go to their profile, and block or mute is no where to be found. Please bring it back!

    when I search contacts only some names show up. It leaves out a lot of names that should be included in the search results. If I have first name last name = GCI GCI, and I search for "GCI", I get all kinds of names EXCEPT the one i'm looking for - "GCI". Your product is so bad and completely iincompetent!!!!

12. why can't I delete a large group of contacts in multiples?

    Your team intentionally did not export my contacts to my new email, and there was tons of stress with your site. 2 minutes ago was the very first time a chat box came up in 4 days. They blocked me from reporting issues. They made it a requirement this morning to have the Yahoo employee's ID#, after not requiring it the first time. I had to take their abuse since Friday, every single day, for hours upon hours each and every day. Take action against these thugs. They should not be allowed to touch, read, or abuse anyone's privacy on your site. If you have any integrity about this company, you'd better investigate what they were doing, making writing mid-sentence in a draft jump to the inbox. Sometimes it was deleted by them, occasionally it was still there but totally messed with, missing massive parts of the draft, paragraphs.

    I have added both recovery email nik**ao@gm.com and Recovery Mobile *----777 to my email id kbnikhilb@yahoo.com as on 18 April 9:05 PM I received your yahoo verification code is 152270 at my Recovery email nikao@gm*.com also the top for my reg mob number. but on 19 April 2026 I can't get my recovery email from yahoo sign in help,.. it is asking to enter 6 digit code from Microsoft Authenticator app, which I do not have access to. if yahoo charges money to get access the yahoo account recovery. should also provide proper links to get to paid resources once you have account recovery issues. or to report hacker like activity.. eagerly waiting for reply

20. URGENT: Yahoo Mail’s 500-Alias Feature Is Being Abused to Mass‑Register ChatGPT Accounts – Causing Legitimate Users to Be Banned by OpenAI

    Dear Yahoo Mail Support Team,

    I am writing to bring to your immediate attention a severe and ongoing abuse of your email alias feature that is directly harming legitimate Yahoo Mail users, including myself.

    As you are aware, Yahoo Mail allows up to 500 disposable aliases per account. Unfortunately, this feature is being systematically exploited by malicious actors to mass‑register accounts on OpenAI’s ChatGPT platform. These individuals use hundreds of Yahoo aliases to create multiple ChatGPT accounts in violation of OpenAI’s terms of service.

    In response, OpenAI has begun flagging and blocking large numbers of Yahoo Mail addresses – including entirely legitimate ones. As a direct consequence, my own personal ChatGPT account, which I use for legitimate purposes, was recently banned by OpenAI. The only reason for this ban is that my underlying email domain (yahoo.com / yahoomail.com) has been associated with the widespread abuse of aliases originating from your service.

    This situation is unacceptable. Law‑abiding Yahoo Mail users are being punished for a vulnerability that exists entirely within your system’s design. While aliases are a useful feature, the ability to create up to 500 per account with no meaningful oversight has turned Yahoo Mail into a tool for large‑scale platform abuse. The damage is no longer hypothetical – it is actively destroying my access to critical online services.

    I request that Yahoo Mail take the following actions immediately:

    Review and restrict the alias creation mechanism – for example, limit the number of aliases that can be created per day or require additional verification steps.

    Contact OpenAI to identify and whitelist legitimate Yahoo Mail users who have been falsely banned, and work with them to stop accepting alias‑based registrations.

    Notify all Yahoo Mail users about this abuse and warn that misuse of aliases may lead to external platform bans affecting everyone.

    Please treat this as a high‑priority security and user trust issue. I expect a formal response detailing the steps Yahoo will take to remedy this problem. Failure to address this will force many legitimate users to abandon Yahoo Mail permanently and may expose Yahoo to reputational and legal risks.
