RZ, May 27th I changed in settings so I don't have conversations linking. Go to settings. Go 5th down-Viewing EMails. Open it. First topic: Group by Conversations. Turn it off. You are now set free from conversations.
I have to use GMail for my work, and I and my coworkers struggle and miss new emails that get buried in conversations. It sounds like a great idea, but it can backfire. Time and productivity are wasted. -

Pages would make me throw my Gmail away and really commit to you as the only email. Page omission stands in the way of your profitability. Pages say you care about customer satisfaction. A small thing that makes a very big statement.

Drop this feature, or at least make it optional! I can't find ANYONE in my address book because of all this useless chatter.

It's Sept and we STILL hate it.
But, I guess most people have just given up. WHY? Why can't customers get what they WANT? Every successful company puts customer satisfaction first. Why not Yahoo??? -

with the incorporation of linking all "conversations" I lose so many emails and when I want to find a specific email .. lol impossible! Go back to the way it was, or at the very least allow us to revert to the old method without putting all emails from a contact together. Allow each email to be seen on its own, without having it as part of a *&^% thread that only exists in yahoo's programing.

the new version deleted all my mails. Please recover it for me. Some of the email threads were important.
the old version is better and user-friendly.

I've been using this New Yahoo Mail ever since it came into existence. The first few weeks gave me a little trouble figuring out the way to use it. But now I can say it's pretty good and I like it.

You disable conversation threads by clicking the gear icon and going into settings. Go to the bottom, click "more settings." On the left, click "viewing email". The first option is "Group by conversation". Turn this OFF.

Words cannot describe how displeased I am with yahoo and its email, the scanning of emails for advertising, the constant updates that are actually downgrades in quality and service. Just a joke, Gmail is getting worse too, I guess its time to completely move away from yahoo, it has been years since it was my default search engine, I have held on to the email for convenience sake, but with this new mail program its clearly time to just cut the cord as yahoo is dead
