Improve your Spam filters PLEASE.
I nearly deleted my account because of it. I'm sick to the back teeth of receiving emails regarding African Lottery wins, being the beneficiary of an inheritance, dodgy high end labelled goods at ridiculously low prices and the links to **** dating sites. It's shameful that Yahoo, who have some of the best IT guys in the world working for them can't get this right. My computer is a family computer that my kid has access to.

Is the block sender a placebo button??? I block spam and it continues to come into my inbox!!! And family emails go to "trash" so I continually have to check there for legit emails!!! Yahoo are you even paying attention to what people are saying??? I know for a fact that you can make it possible that the only thing that goes into your inbox is an email from your contact list. Why are you so opposed to making it what people want???

yahoo has made it impossible to block spam. I have tried every avenue. Blocked and blocked and blocked again and nothing works.. The spam I receive is pure filth. I will have no option but to get a new email address with some one else

I just conducted a search to try to figure out why my Email is suddenly filled with dozens of ****, Spam emails daily. I used to get a rogue Spam every now and again but now it's constant ***********, *** requests and other things. I thought it was something on my end and now see it is YAHOO and everyone else is saying the same thing. I see no response from yahoo with "we will fix this" and the only recourse, like all other users, is to cancel account. How bizarre and really poor service and company for them not to address this.

What happened. A sudden, rapid increase in the amount of spam. From only several a week, to twenty or more a day. Please fix your spam filters!

Spam that makes it to my inbox has increased by 500% in the last several weeks. It seems this is not just my own issue. I am a premium subscriber and cannot take this much longer.
Any replies from Yahoo on this recent problem?

I am deleting my account because you've stopped filtering spam. It's awful, dozens per day in my inbox. You used to be so good at it. I just imagine that they pay you, so you let it go through your filter. Absolutely terrible! Goodbye Yahoo!

The amount of spam getting into my inbox has increased 100 fold. It is literally under siege every day. So disgusting that Yahoo can not get this under control.

I agree that Yahoo should filter better, especially when I pay annually for premium Yahoo Mail... --Bill

There are no spam filters. Yahoo is a SPAM MAGNATE. Worst email on the web..

I agree with so many of these comments. Yahoo has regressed in terms of both blocking Spam, and not allowing user control of the level of blockage, which it used to do. Also, it looks like the Filters I set up are being ignored, especially if it involves a major advertiser like AIGDirect. Given the shameful lack of security by the previous owners, I would expect nothing less than a robust Spam filter now!

to many spam emails that are inappropriate. When I say block address, it does nothing and they come back again and again. I am 75 yrs old and am ready to cancel and get another email account elsewhere! Never had this problem before the last few months.
