full page contact list
I hate the contact list now being shown on the right side and much prefer the previous full page contact list. Please bring back the full page list or at provide an option to select this version. Also, some of my contacts seem to have "mysteriously" disappeared.

GREAT POST! Thank you!
But Yahoo does what they want to do.
They care very little customer complaints/cares/service. It's enraging.
I hope all is well with you and your family. -

No, Connie, you won't get an acknowledgement. They've been getting these for almost 2 yrs. If you don't go in to set up an Excel sheet it is a mess. Not worth the bother. (Not a techie either.) I'm amazed that anyone still pays for this....not what they signed up for. Also this forum is going to close down shortly. No place to vent which is all this is good for. Merry Christmas

I hate what you have done with the contact list to the right side of our email! Sometimes I can't even update my address from the site. I use to create a Christmas list to print with: Name, Street Address, City, State & Zip Code. I could print it out, check it off as I addressed each Christmas card. Well I just found out today via CHAT that you no longer offer this feature! Only thing you offer is a download of contacts into an EXCEL spreadsheet. I mean really??? how helpful do you think this really is? NOT!! Please change it back or update it to include creating a contact list. I doubt if anyone will even read my complaint or suggest. Too bad!! I'm a 72 year old lady who isn't real techie, I would like to just do a few simple things with my contact list but NO! Will I get an acknowledgement? Thanks & Merry Christmas, Connie

I hate the LIST function. it is too difficult to use.
I want to go to a contact name and see the LIST to which they are assigned, and to be able to assigned them to a LIST or multiple LISTS on the EDIT page.
Creating a LIST and then searching for a name means I don't know who I am forgetting, and the searching is time consuming.
AND, this Agreement is ********. You guys are a bunch of Loons. -

Yahoo. When will you accept that this CONTACTS format is a disaster….?

add me to the list of people whose contacts have vanished. I get no response from contact button. Also my calendar has disappeared. Your restore contacts button is a joke. I fill it out clicking on the pop up calendar for a date to reset it, and then it tells me to redo it putting it in the proper format. That's the format your program assigns. It should work. I hate it. If it wasn't for the trouble of having to change my information - I'd dump you.

I lost all my contacts the same day as Kevin Barron did... and even when I go back through "sent" and find an email, I have to type it into the address line on compose, and it STILL isn't part of my contacts list, which seems to have gone on walkabout.

Sort still has only Date (newest / oldest), Unread and Starred - no sender.
Why would you removed this feature???
-
Kevin Barron commented
I have also just lost all my contacts. Searching suggests there's a 'restore contacts' option in the actions list on Contacts, but there are only options to import them.

Unlike the old format, there is no way now of deleting contacts that I no longer need. Please restore the ability to delete contacts (one or multiple at a time) as soon as possible. I have been a loyal yahoo client since 2004. If this continues I will have no choice but to switch to GMail.

How do you get rid of the right panel contact list? I may switch emails if it won't go away.
