    I've been with Yahoo for many years, but I am seriously considering switching to Gmail due to SO MANY ridiculous spam emails that Yahoo allows through to my email. Some are VERY inappropriate, and I'm just about fed up!!!

    Yes! Some of the Spam ads are gross!! Will def go to Gmail, if this is not fixed.

    Agreed! I've been happy with Yahoo Mail for decades, but if incessant spam continues, I will switch to Gmail. Please fix the filters soon.

    Just received thousands of spam emails today, the filter and blocking are not working. I will move to Gmail if this continues. Gmail spies, but they at least keep it clean! This is insane, especially when I have to put up with advertising. But I just spent hours moving spam and attempting to block users. No email address outside the US should be allowed to make it to my inbox. I'll consider this a major breach of Yahoo, but if it happens again, I will close my account.

    Spam blocking seemed to stop a few days ago. My inbox is bombarded with junk. Please fix.

    Why am I getting hundreds of spam mail and recently spam with the F___ word showing up everyday. Who are these sick people and why can't you filter this mess from my spam mail?

    increase blocked mail IDs from 1,000 to 5,000 because your message filter is rubbish.
    everyday its getting more frustating to use Yahoo.

    I am being spammed by **** sites (and worse)
    the 'block' function does not work - but then it is not about the ordinary user is it?

    How does your current spam blocker let email addresses like this through? I get usually ten of this type of email with that garbage address every day from "Walmart" and others with "free" stuff and prizes simulating a reputable business but with clearly a BS return address that any spam blocker should catch!
