mark as not spam broken in Yahoo! Mail app for iOS
In Yahoo Mail for iOS the "mark as not spam button doesn't currently work. It seems it's been attached to the logic for mark as spam, as the selected email(s) stay in the Spam folder and the user receives a notification bubble that the email was marked as spam.

Unable to delete top contact
Some of the emails that have been previously emailed multiple times need to be removed from the top contact list as these are not my contacts. There is no longer any correspondance with them. These are not added to my contact list, yet constantly show up in my top list. And I'm unable to remove them in any way. Please address this.

Unable to contact re technical issues
What kind of service doesn't let you contact the provider to resolve problems? Overnight my emails went to too full to do anything 32.4gb. Evidently there is some technical error as it is impossible for me to generate 16gb+ of content in one night. I am unable to get this resolved and therefore have no option but to abandon Yahoo and go to a better provider.

2 Factor Authentication is Broken on Edge
Using Edge on Windows, I am unable to set up two-factor auth via phone number because the code is sent to my phone but the "Next" button on the browser on my PC doesn't go anywhere, and there's nowhere to type your number. Fix your mess.

Stop reducing our email storage limit!
Stop downgrading out storage capacity and hiding the amount we have available! Got a popup saying it's going to 15 GB, but on the left side bar it only shows how much I used, not available.
"Starting soon, free Yahoo Mail accounts will include an industry-leading 15GB of storage — with additional options on the way if you need more space".

a better way to block **** in spam, I don't to ever see any ****, even if it's just in the subject line in spam.
while I can block sender's in spam, I am still getting many **** emails. I don't visit *, I don't want *, I find it very offensive when I just look at the spam folder to empty it to see it.

Stop Showing Ads in Yahoo Mail+
When I signed up for Mail+, one of the key benefits was an ad-free experience across Yahoo. Since then, that benefit has disappeared, and they've even reduced the amount of inbox storage available. Yet I'm still paying for the "no ads" promise.
So imagine my surprise when I opened my inbox and was greeted by a massive promotion for 50% off the first year of Monarch—presented as a special "perk" for Mail+ users. But let's be honest: it's an ad. And not a subtle one, either. It's huge.

Bug in folder display on the new design of the Yahoo app for Android
On the new design of the Yahoo Android app introduced since yesterday (May 29th 2026), only a subset of folders are shown on the side bar by default and every time the user has to tap on the "More" option to get the full folder list. Moreover, the unread email count for each folder is no longer displayed next to the folder name, rendering folders practically useless as it is now impossible to know which folder has unread emails without checking every single one of them one by one.

Turn off "streaks"
I don't know why this new "streaks" feature was added, but it's juvenile and unhelpful. I very much want it to go away. I cannot find a setting to turn off the related notifications, animations and emails. Please turn them off or give me the option to turn them off!
