See Number of Unread Emails
I have no overview of how many emails are in my Inbox. Very annoying. Please show that again.

The main dislikes are the inbox no longer indicates unread emails in bold type and the spam and trash files can't be accessed with one click. Also the number of unread emails is not shown; you must move the cursor over the inbox word. Why ruin a good thing?

I want a message count on my inbox. I saw another person submitted this idea and got a response that the capability already exists. I followed the instructions in the response and it does not work.

I do not want to see number of unread emails, that I have moved to a special folder, in my daily access of emails. I just want emails within couple of months that I might not have read. Annoying to see such a high number. I do not like it

Just go back to the previous version. Nothing else matters. We like Yahoo, not this Gmail clone you've made.

The number of unread emails shows up for me in one inbox on one account, but not on the other account.

Used to be able to hover over the new email icon see a number and then get a couple of line previews of new emails. I miss that so much its been gone for some time. This new look is total **** and ******* the eyes

Put back the total number of emails in the inbox. This new version looks like a grade school project gone wrong. Put back the old version.

Whatever version I have, right next to the 'Inbox' title on the left column, it has a number. Isn't that the number of emails I have? I have no idea how to use this version that was forced on me.

One of my most used folders. Always go there first. Would like option to add to the side options. Take away * folder.

Who is the person that came up with this format? This looks so unprofessional and more like a grade school system.

Wanna se Number of Unread Emails? Switch to Basic Mail, like I did.
Click the three dots (low left) - Settings - Switch To basic Mail.
Yes it does not have all the advanced functions but at least it's got those BASIC ones.
Yes it does not have any graphic but at least it's not all grey with gmail rounded edges.
I am an older person and I don't need today's kids to redesign all my favoriet websites to adapt mobile phone look. I'm tired of all their experiments.
I stay with Yahoo Basic Mail. -

Show the number of unread emails in the Spam folder as well. This is very important to easily identify that there are new messages in the Spam folder where unfortunately non-spam emails often land.
