Unfortunately, you cannot revert back. We are only making the new one better. We know change is frustrating and hard but we really hope you'll give the new layout a fair chance.


WHAT'S NEW:
Calendar - We moved it from under "More" on the right hand side to it's own icon. Still on the right hand side, but it's now the first icon next to Starred and Contacts.

TIPS:
Disable Inbox Categories (All, Primary, etc) - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Inbox Categories.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Sort By Sender - This is still a sorting option, but you must disable Conversation view under your Settings. Then you will see "Sender name"
Disable AI Summaries - Go to Settings > AI features > Toggle Off

  2. bring back feature to display all email accounts in the right-hand panel at a glance

    1. Please bring back the feature that displays all email accounts in the right-hand panel at a glance, allowing us to easily see which accounts have new emails. Currently, we have to make extra clicks to check our other email accounts. Only one account is visible now.

    2. There is too much wasted blank space at the top of the interface. This space could be used more effectively to display compact email summaries and the email reading pane.

    These features are crucial!!

    Please return back to the Older version / format which we have used it more effective and smooth for a long time OR give us an option to select back the Older version / format and let us keep going to use it ONCE AGAIN !!!

    Go back to the simple, easy, controllable, understandable format that we had and was the main reason I used Yahoo in the first place.

  6. Links need to show preview

    Links do not show preview anymore on new Yahoo format. Can't differentiate between READ and UNREAD anymore with new format. Background too white and can't read. Dark mode too dark. Need a background to even it out like on the old Yahoo format.

  7. Read messages darker color

    I keep my read messages in my inbox folder, but the previous version made the read messages much darker so that it was easy to navigate through the read and unread messages by scrolling down (yes, I know I can just select "unread messages" to view those); however, it is nice to be able to look at what I have received in a single day (say, on Monday) and see what I have read and unread by how dark or light they are colored. Just something to consider. It probably wouldn't take much to make the read messages just shaded…

  12. Fire all your web UI designers!

    Please fire your web UI designers. The new design is awful and so difficult on your eyes! Get rid of the circle icons. We do not need or want it. All we want is to view our emails in a clean clear manner not with all the junk you just added. It's awful! How many time do I need to say how awful the design is?

  13. layout of ads is larger and in the way

    It's notiecable how much wider the ads are on the right of the screen which forces you to scroll left and right on your message to read it which is very clumsy and time consuming and interruptive. And what's equally frustrating if not more, you've taken away the right facing arrow in the middle area to push away the ads temporarily. Clearly Yahoo is trying to force people into paying for "ad free". It's so annoying and I"ll consider changing from Yahoo for this.

  14. your fucken **** is starting to suck!

    I just created a new proton email account, and am about ready to drop your email services! specially now that you made spam more prevalant and arent doing anthing to fight spam. I cant even block spam emails and create a blocked list like i used to of 1000 emails. Its bad enought that you only give 3 domains to block at a time. Fix your ****, or im gone for good! 20+ year user!

  15. Enable blocking senders directly in the Spam mail.

    Previously this option was available. Apparently now senders can be blocked only from the In Box. This means having to transfer mail from the Spam Box to the In Box to block the senders, Very inconvenient.

  18. Old classic mail are much more better

    The new yahoo mail making my computer so slow and lag. The email overall layout are so confused. Still prefer the previous classic mail. And please remove the AI, its not helping at all. Making my email more lagging and worst.

    What an ill thought out upgrade. So annoyed with Yahoo. Also, if you wanted to make a decent change make the Calandar an App so I can see it on my phone.

    I really think you guys are absolute idiots ... it's like you haven't tested any upgrades in the real world !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
