TIPS:
Disable Inbox Categories (All, Primary, etc) - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Inbox Categories.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Sort By Sender - This is still a sorting option, but you must disable Conversation view under your Settings. Then you will see "Sender name"
Disable AI Summaries - Go to Settings > AI features > Toggle Off

  4. Ability to remove the starred and contacts box on right side

    The box on the the right side of the screen takes up all the viewing area. It is impossibe to read a message with this open on a laptop sized screen. Have an ability to hide or remove this box.

  9. Ditch this interface or at least offer a text based option

    This is the worst email interface I've ever seen. So bad that I will switch to something else if it's not changed. Many of us only need basic email without all the hard to use gimmicks.

  15. Your AI Chat said leaving feedback might help get my email back to basic because I have an old laptop 2009 and it doesn’t support this new

    Yahoo switched my email to the new version 1 week ago. I keep trying to use it but my computer is old, 2009, and it doesn’t support this new version. It keeps freezing and I keep clearing cache, closing and reopening my email and restarting my computer. It doesn’t matter what I do or which browser I use, it doesn’t work like it was with basic mail. I don’t have the option under setting to switch back. I am old and cannot purchase another computer, I just need yahoo to give me the option to switch back to basic mail…

  16. Still slow it's unsable

    Been trying to use the for a few weeks now. Unbearably slow. To avoid the problems, I'm forced to to use my phone's email client instead. FIX THIS OR GIVE US BACK THE OLDER UI. THIS IS NOT USABLE!

    go back to old email format.
    this is beyond horrible. beyond horrible. awful. miserable. soooooo difficult to read and manage.
    pls give users the choice. if there is a choice, i dont see it.

    and it makes me strongly consider ditching yahoo altogether.

  19. Please make a Bulk Email Delete Option for UnRead Messages in Yahoo Mail!

    Hi, I've had a Mail Yahoo account for almost 30 years, and I really enjoy your new Bulk Delete function. However, it would really Helpful if you please add a 10,000 Bulk email delete option for UnRead Messages only.
    I usually scan thru my messages daily but there are many that I will not open or read and it would be very nice if I could bulk delete 10,000 Unread messages at a time rather than having to delete them 25-100 at a time. I am Permanently Disabled due to DeQuervains in my wrists so My suggestion would be very…

  20. Calendar is NOT WORKING

    I can't reach any live agent. This is an urgent matter. The whole Yahoo Calendar is completely blank, just going to calendar.yahoo.com as I normally do. And ALL of my appointments, events, EVERY single thing is completely blank, like I never had anything on the calendar.
    Except I've used calendar.yahoo.com for decades, and I keep so many recurring events and appointments on there. For my day to day.
    It's all GONE. PLEASE help me, I have tried through Help, Chat, etc and I'm never taken to a live agent. PLEASE help with this
