WHAT'S NEW?
Search by Sender - Just hover over the sender's profile image and a spyglass icon will appear where you can search all emails by that sender.
Multi-Tasking Tabs - Like before, open an email in a new tab.
AI Summaries - Ability to disable. Go to Settings > AI Features > Toggle Off
Number of Total Messages - Hover over the Inbox Icon and you will see both total number of messages and unread.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.

Differentiate Unread v. Read - Better ways to see the difference.
Resize Images - Resize an image within the message.
Inbox Categories - Default to "All" category instead of always Priority.
Right Hand Column - Ability to minimize: Contacts, Starred, More (Currently for Yahoo Mail Plus subscribers)


TIPS:
Inbox Categories - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Personalize Inbox.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Dark Mode - Go to Settings > Appearance.

    All of my emails have been deleted, I was not notified of any such action and my account was not inactive for 24 months.

  3. Make it work, to begin with something valuable

    Since yesterday the interface is non responsive, it says "No internet connection" but only yahoo mail has "no internet connection".
    I don't know what you have done, but it is very, very wrong.

  4. Disable if not remove streaks and achievements.

    Please add a way to completely disable mail streaks and achievements. It's not a game, you're not Steam, it has zero place in an email app. It doesn't add any value whatsoever it's just distracting and annoying.

  5. Return email filters

    Why I keep Yahoo mail as my main email account all these years is because of email filters. Cannot find add new filter. Can no longer place "NEW" message/contacts into separate folders using filters. Existing filters works fine. What is the scoop?

  6. automatic category learning from user actions

    I want mail to learn from my actions to provide a better experience going forward - either automatically (based on actions) or with help from manual teaching. If I drag and email from "primary" to "newsletters" - I would like an option to either learn this category is where future emails of this type should land, or a confirmation that asks - would you like future emails from this sender/with this subject to appear in this category. Thanks.

  8. deleting emails one by one is insane

    the fact that there is no option to click multiple emails in one click is absurd. the amount of time it takes to click each email for deletion and then a accidental opening of an email erases all progress is ridiculous. when the only option to delete massive amounts of emails is to delete the account itself or drive yourself to insanity; that is a huge fundamental problem.

  10. block sender not reliable

    option to block sender only available from time no time, horrible interface, poor services, I maintain using it because I've been using my address for 25+ years but I would NOT recommend yahoo which is completely outdated

  11. Deleteing emails should be a priority not a chore

    making it possible to delete more than one email at a time would make life a lot faster.

    I have had this email since 2007 and I kept all my old emails here as an archive. Why would you delete them? Is there a way I can get them back?

  15. Let me read my mail when I have ad blocker on!!

    I use Ghostery, and since mid week or earlier, the only way for me to view mail that I open is to turn off the ad blocker. I can see the topics fine. But I get a red triangle with words 'Not Online' after opening mail. I'll turn it off, since you are forcing me to. But I'm letting my Senator know.

  17. STOP SORTING MY EMAILS

    Yahoo Mail has decided to just "TRASH" emails that they think I don't need or read. This is extremely annoying as I am missing emails now from many different providers that I rely on getting. Why are these emails automatically going int he TRASH folder and not my INBOX?? This is extremely annoying and I am considering switching my email entirely so I don't miss any of my important emails...
