WHAT'S NEW?
Search by Sender - Just hover over the sender's profile image and a spyglass icon will appear where you can search all emails by that sender.
Multi-Tasking Tabs - Like before, open an email in a new tab.
AI Summaries - Ability to disable. Go to Settings > AI Features > Toggle Off
Number of Total Messages - Hover over the Inbox Icon and you will see both total number of messages and unread.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.

Differentiate Unread v. Read - Better ways to see the difference.
Resize Images - Resize an image within the message.
Inbox Categories - Default to "All" category instead of always Priority.
Right Hand Column - Ability to minimize: Contacts, Starred, More (Currently for Yahoo Mail Plus subscribers)


TIPS:
Inbox Categories - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Personalize Inbox.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Dark Mode - Go to Settings > Appearance.

  1. malware ads

    You are passing along a malware ad which takes over the entire screen with audible alarms and claims that the user's pc is infected. The subjest of the ad says "an unread connection attempt was made today." You should provide the ability to report ads such as this to help mitigate. This makes Yahoo look complicit and irresponsible.

    for some reason or other I no longer can receive any personal mail in my yahoo account I only have junk mail !!!!!! I need to know WHY !!! I am using windows 11 ???? ?? thank you Jane Robichaufd

  4. How much space have I used?

    You say you've change the limit and I only have 15gb of storage space... but NO WHERE does it actually tell me how much space I've actually used.

  6. Give Me Back My FOLDERS!

    I update... and LOSE MY ENTIRE EMAIL HISTORY??? WTF!!! I want my ********** Folder back! I've been with Yahoo since it was invented and my entire life history is in those emails. I want my Folders Back! & I now beliieve you're a bunch of idiots for making this happen in the first place.

  11. Allow language translation toggle (Dynamic messages did not stop it) I need to read the original language for myself)

    I turned off dynamic messages, AI, etc.
    The first time I turned off dynamic messages, I could read the original language without translation. But the next login, it translated anyway even though dynamic messages and AI are turned off.

    Let's face it: computer language translation is not good. It is botching communications I need to have with people in their native language. I can't tell what they are really telling me when Yahoo mail is hosing it up.

  12. Multiple selection

    I am having a LOT of issues with the new Yahoo Inbox. If I try to select all the emails between one and another (click, hold shift, then click) weird things are happening. Sometimes it will also select emails outside the range, it may also miss emails within the range. Please fix this, as it is very annoying.

  13. Inform the Yahoo community when changes are being made so we know

    I had about 3 subscriptons with Yahoo and I can't find those subscriptions listed in my subscription tab. I was not informed that they had been cancelled. Also I am not getting response on a problem I'm having with my yahoo format. Did Yahoo automatically change everyone to the new yahoo mail? I was happy with the old mail. The new mail has problems that aren't working. I have had things disappear from my account and I don't know why. I had several emails that I was getting daily to weekly from two personnel and all of a sudden that…

  14. Sorting Unread emails by Senders Name

    I have tried numerous times to sort my unread messages by sender's name and although the option is available, it does not sort. Can this issue be resolved as soon as possible? Would make removing unwanted emails efficiently. Thank you,

  15. CSV Import

    You really need to have an option to import CSV files from Mac Mail. I have over 800 contacts in my Mac Mail (which sucks compared to Yahoo) and I need to import them to my Yahoo+ mail. Your help app gives directions on how to do this but the directions are wrong. Fix it please.

  16. why can't I keep the color white?

    You guess really f'd up the mail! I may transfer everything to Proton. So frustrating! I changed the setting to white, and it either reverts to the black Yahoo Plus format or switches to the old Yahoo Mail in white. Who in the **** was responsible for this?

  17. I wish Yahoo would stop all inbox, and spam mail with explicit, fowl, degrading messages,. I dont even have to open the mail to see ot

    What happened to decent and common respect for all. I check my spam mail to make sure a email should have went to my inbox. . Then I have to see all this disgusting language from **** sites. Very explicit . I dont click on these emails. Yahoo should be able to stop such fowl mouth digusting trashy people. I would be happy to forward every one of these to you if it would stop,

  20. Regain screen real estate by allowing user to display only the message contents

    Especially for messages sent to cc or bcc recipients, most of the screen is taken up by the header info, making it difficult to read or edit the actual message
