Terrible Redesign
Get rid of the circle icons of whoever is sending the email. And stop making the ads look like emails so we accidently click on them. So frustrating this terrible new design. And now I have to so searching for my folders to see any new sorted emails instead of just seeing all of the expanded on the side. Terrible redesign.

i find it very awkward only being allowed to view one email at a time
the new tabs idea is not as useful as being able to open multiple emails. can you please give users the option to have two or more emails open at the same time as in the previous version. I find it very awkward to switch between them when only one can be viewed at a time

Don't go to "New Yahoo" email
Hey! all advertisers that pay for ads with Yahoo. I no longer look at my yahoo mail from the Yahoo site. I check my email from "Outlook". Yahoo mail format is SSOOOOOOO ****** I will not use it anymore and therefore will not see any ads that you pay Yahoo for me to see. GET RID OF YAHOO!!

TURN OFF DISTRACTIONS and POPUPS on inbox screen
I am not reading my email to keep score of how well I read my email, to earn idiotic and meaningless "awards" or to attend a circus.
I DO NOT appreciate popups interrupting me. I have popups BLOCKED on most sites. Why is this one appearing here?
There are too many distractions with the icons on every message, animated ads that move along the sides of the page, and ads that pop in and out of the list of emails. Get rid of those, too.

Put separations back into Mail
The new mail, without noticeable separations, is hard to navigate. The old Mail was much easier. Why make it difficult?

Ads are fine. Misleading subjects, not so much.
Such as: "Subject: One New Message. Preview: "You have new messages in your inbox."

Do you need new servers
Since you loaded this up and forced it on us it is slower then (you know what). It also seems you gave up some real estate in the viewing menu. Its difficult to read an email in the viewing window which was not there before. he only way I can see this is to change the viewing setting per email (?) why?
If you can not speed the system up to what it was can I please go back to what I had before. While there are some new options that look a little better the overall speed has me…61st ranked -
Format and navigation sucks!
Hate the (Improved) New Yahoo mail! The message area has the least real estate on the screen. Have to scroll side to side and up and down to read messages. I'm here to read mail, not be entertained or sold something. Multiple steps now require to access other mailboxes! Will be moving to Protonmail as they seem to really care about the customer experience!
Too bad "Format" isn't one of you subject categories! Just shows your lack of understanding as to why users are actually using email.

Please make it easier to delete messages
Email applications have two primary tools: Reading and Deleting. Deleting is probably number one now. Any click that is 1 pixel off results in opening the message. Make the checkboxes bigger or something.

Restore old way of moving message to folder
In old version, once the folder was found, it was enough to click Enter.
In new version, additional actions (using kb or mouse) is required. Unnecessary and irritating.61st ranked -
Get rid of the popups congratulating me for getting emails!!!!
I received a popup telling me something to the effect of "congratulations - you've received emails for 3 days!". I receive emails EVERY DAY. I do not need Yahoo to congratulate me for them. If there are other cutesie popups like this, GIVE US A WAY TO DISABLE THEM.

Keyword Search sorted by a folder is no longer available?
With this new version, it doesn't appear that the option to do an advanced Keyword Search sorted by a folder (Inbox, etc) is available. I use this function weekly, if not more often.
Since this new version was implemented, I have missed 2 bill payments and 2 other important messages because the user interface is not optimal. Very disappointing.61st ranked -
Locking the "sort"
Please work on locking how the mail is sorted. If I want it sorted by sender, I want it to stay that way until I want to sort it differently. The sort should be OUR choice, not what Yahoo thinks it should be. Once we set it, it should stay sorted the way we want until WE want to change it. VERY frustrating when I have to keep changing it back to the way I want it!!!!

Give the people the choice if they want their yahoo mail to look like gmail!
Throw this **** in the trash! If I wanted to use Gmail, I would. I have the same username at Gmail but only use that for registrations and *. I hate the layout, that is why I have been using Yahoo for all these years!
NOW, you have made a * knock off of Gmail and here we are!

Subject: Please Provide an Option to Switch Back to Old Yahoo Mail
I have been using Yahoo Mail for many years and recently received the new Yahoo Mail interface.
Unfortunately, I find the new layout difficult and less convenient to use.
I am much more comfortable with the previous/old Yahoo Mail interface.
I have checked the settings, but I do not have the option to switch back to the old version or Basic Mail.
Please consider providing a “Switch back to Old Yahoo Mail” option for my account.
It would be very helpful if users could choose between the new…
