WHAT'S NEW?
Search by Sender - Just hover over the sender's profile image and a spyglass icon will appear where you can search all emails by that sender.
Multi-Tasking Tabs - Like before, open an email in a new tab.
AI Summaries - Ability to disable. Go to Settings > AI Features > Toggle Off
Number of Total Messages - Hover over the Inbox Icon and you will see both total number of messages and unread.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.

Differentiate Unread v. Read - Better ways to see the difference.
Resize Images - Resize an image within the message.
Inbox Categories - Default to "All" category instead of always Priority.
Right Hand Column - Ability to minimize: Contacts, Starred, More (Currently for Yahoo Mail Plus subscribers)


TIPS:
Inbox Categories - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Personalize Inbox.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Dark Mode - Go to Settings > Appearance.

  4. Can the old layout be brought back?

    Hi, I don't like the new inbox layout: the way it scrolls down is not smooth, the way each row looks like a bubble is slightly distracting, the text is not the focus, the background color. The background color used to be black for me, and it was easy to scroll and read through the subject lines of a bunch of messages--from my inbox--at a time. Either make it more customizable so I can adjust the setting so it matches the old lay out I had, or revert the whole look. The new one is not easy to use over…

  5. deleting all things yahoo. cant get rid of yahoo virus

    keeps sending me to yahoo mail while I'm using outlook. also comes up anytime. I can't use my computer. have to take it in. see you in small claims court, your responsible for the bill.

  7. Functionality of scrolling through mail

    Scrolling through mail is maddening. I can't see mail and scroll through titles of mail, it's not intuitive at all. I can't intuitively change the view of my main interface. I can scroll through the side menus. I can't scroll through the titles unless I use arrows. Trying to find the scroll bar for my main email is so frustrating I can't begin to describe it. Navigating this page is just not worth using yahoo anymore.

  8. there is a problem with my yahoo page

    there is a problem with my inbox interface. I am not able to send a screen shot of the issue. When I search in drafts the word draft is superimposed over the first word in the middle column. The same thing is happening in the inbox with what looks like the word priority superposed over or under the the first word in the second column. this is happening off and on...

  10. COLOR - GIVE US BACK OUR COLOR

    The White is too blinding and the Black is too dark and depressing. What made you think that dropping all color or theme options was a good idea? Do you want your brand to disappear because we will all abandon you for Google? I don't want to do that - I WANT COLORSSS.

  11. Improve star folder view when size is increased above 120%

    Recently, the messages in starred folder have subject message overwriting folder name when view is expanded above 120%. To test, place a message from a folder in star folder and view at 100% and 120% size -- all is well.
    Next increase to 133% and 150% and notice how the subject message and folder listings are no longer fully in separate columns! I hope you can address this new flaw soon.

  12. Add filter to search function

    There needs to be a filter to only pull similar emails that have NOT been filed to a folder.

    Right now, when you click the magnifying glass to search emails from the same sender, you cannot filter to only show what has not been filed yet (inbox or archive). This slows down the review process significantly when there are many emails to sort through.

    I do not care about what has already been filed, or even about emails that I sent. Currently it brings in all emails (inbox, archive, filed, and sent) and I suspect it also brings in ones…

  13. Delete more SPAM

    For some reason there is much more spam coming in. In the past I might only get five a day, now I am getting 50 a day. If I delete a spam I would think you would not send more of the same. Thank you for listening.

  14. Stop spam!

    Seriously - in this day and age, how on earth do I still get messages for ***** enlargements and other nonsense. I don't care that you put them in the spam folder. Gmail NEVER allows this garbage to go through, even in spam. Why does Yahoo? Are you telling me you can't filter those things out? You say you want to improve Yahoo and make it great again. You have a long long way to go to beat Gmail. 12 hours and I have 56 new spams. That's just insanity. For a little while you got good at it. Then…

  15. Stop hiding my folders. Stop making accessing my folders a hassle.

    Leave my folders alone. I make them because I want mail sorted specifically, but when you keep rolling them up into a Folder icon, not allowing me to keep them expanded - it hides the important mail that went to designated folders.

    I don't want to have to go to youtube to watch a 10 minute video of somebody with a harsh accent tell me some workaround. I want you guys to quit sabatoging our customization options.

  17. Manage and remove offensive ads of a sexual nature

    You should be able to identify and remove inappropriate ads of a sexual nature. I have an ad that appears at the top of my inbox that is clearly inappropriate. I of course don't want to open it and I can't mark it as spam because it is an ad. This is offensive enough for me to consider closing my account. These ads periodically appear and disappear.

  18. Search JUST to find a folder

    I have used my Yahoo account for probably 20 years-personal, work, my child's activities now adult. Life is in folders - I can't easily find what I am looking for...I need a way to search JUST for the folder I want.

    Bonjour,
    J’ai reçu récemment le mail suivant :
    De : "contact@ameli.com"
    Objet : Nouvelle vague d'expédition pour la carte vitale 2026
    Vraiment plus authentique que nature, m’invitant à faire la démarche indiquée…. J’ai eu un doute sur l’alias "contact@ameli.com" alors qu’Ameli utilise le domaine « .fr » du coup je n’ai pas donné suite….mais combien de gens se sont faits piégés ????
    Alors qu’il suffit simplement de faire « répondre à » ou « transférer » pour faire tomber le masque et voir apparaitre le visage de l’intrus… !!!
