WHAT'S NEW?
Search by Sender - Just hover over the sender's profile image and a spyglass icon will appear where you can search all emails by that sender.
Multi-Tasking Tabs - Like before, open an email in a new tab.
AI Summaries - Ability to disable. Go to Settings > AI Features > Toggle Off
Number of Total Messages - Hover over the Inbox Icon and you will see both total number of messages and unread.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.

Differentiate Unread v. Read - Better ways to see the difference.
Resize Images - Resize an image within the message.
Inbox Categories - Default to "All" category instead of always Priority.
Right Hand Column - Ability to minimize: Contacts, Starred, More (Currently for Yahoo Mail Plus subscribers)


TIPS:
Inbox Categories - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Personalize Inbox.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Dark Mode - Go to Settings > Appearance.

    I have a Yahooaccount. For me it is incredibly impractical and enormously frustrating that when I have gotten several e-mails from one sender, after a while the mails are stacked up on one another in an own categori instead of ju be listed one after another unindependently of who have sent the mail.     I am writing to report a serious issue regarding my Yahoo Mail account gurmailsinghots@yahoo.com. My account appears to have been deleted without any prior notice or information.

    Dear Sir or Madam,
    I am Mahmood from Germany I used yahoomail from many years I would like to suggest please Setup YahooMail Logo on printing option for example when I printout any email the print come without logo I feel not beautiful.
    Please Setup YahooMail Logo on top of page like, Gmail, GMX and other email providers.

  12. Searching Mail Folder

    We can search what is only in the SENT Folder. When I select search for the INBOX folder I only want to see what is in my INBOX folder not what is in any other folder. You include emails in other folders that in the INBOX folder in that search. That makes no sense.

    I can not fix my langauge and location to match where I am and nothing in your support tabs helps. I have been dealing with this issue for years since 2018 and it has not been fixed. I don't speak German, Never have and yet everything on my account is in German!!!! I traveled to Germany for a few years and had my account long before even going there. Yet my account seems locked to German!!!!! FIX YOUR F'N!!!!!!! WEBSITE!!!!!!

  15. Have differnt Star Colors

    I was thinking it would be great if the user could change the star color from just red. I personally star a tone of emails but they are for different things like work, purchase orders, medical and so on. So for example, I could star my work emails with a yellow star and for medical a blue star and so on. Just food for thought.

  16. Keep the "More" menu fixed at the bottom of the window

    In the new layout, keep the "More" menu fixed at the bottom of the window so you don't need to scroll past all your folders to find it.

  17. Make settings easier to find

    Currently, you have to scroll all the way down to the bottom of your list of folders just to find settings. It should be much more accessible. I suggest a cog icon at the top right: next to the preferences icon in the email list window, and next to the close button in the email reading window.

  19. Allow Advanced Search to select sub-folders to do the search in

    Old Yahoo Mail allowed you to seach in sub-folders in each linked email box. New Yahoo Mail does not let you select any sub-folders; only main email box. This is like you broke the search function/downgraded or ruined the function when you made what seems like visual "improvements" (not impressed) only.

  20. Allow settings to customize look of inbox, such as spacing and font

    Old Yahoo Mail allowed you to space messages apart further and customize how many lines of the message you could preview/see. Bring that back.
