WHAT'S NEW?
Search by Sender - Just hover over the sender's profile image and a spyglass icon will appear where you can search all emails by that sender.
Multi-Tasking Tabs - Like before, open an email in a new tab.
AI Summaries - Ability to disable. Go to Settings > AI Features > Toggle Off
Number of Total Messages - Hover over the Inbox Icon and you will see both total number of messages and unread.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.

Differentiate Unread v. Read - Better ways to see the difference.
Resize Images - Resize an image within the message.
Inbox Categories - Default to "All" category instead of always Priority.
Right Hand Column - Ability to minimize: Contacts, Starred, More (Currently for Yahoo Mail Plus subscribers)


TIPS:
Inbox Categories - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Personalize Inbox.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Dark Mode - Go to Settings > Appearance.

  3. One-click Unread and Starred

  4. Group and view new mail by who it is from (alphabetically)

    It would be nice to be able to view inbox if it were listed in alphabetical order, who it is from first then as date received.

  5. More screen dedicated to seeing my actual emails please.

    1) The way the new inboxes look only about 1/4 of my screen is used to read emails, and i usually have to scroll up and down, and also left and right, just to read them. This is ridiculous, please devote more of the screen to the actual emails please.
    2) What is with the Starred/Contacts/More panel on the right? It contains absolutely nothing and is literally useless. Delete it, or please give us the option to hide or minimize it.
    3) Eliminate the tabs, I hate them. Show me my entire inbox, or give me the option to choose…

  6. Spam button to empty the spam folder

    Hi there,

    When viewing the Spam folder from a desktop on Windows 11, I can't find the button to empty the spam folder. Is it possible to put a button there to empty the folder or some way to do this?

  8. Allow user to change default calendar display

    You recently changed the users ability to select the default calendar display. It now defaults to weekly whenever I open the calendar. Removing user's ability to set default mail and calendar displays is not an improvement. Please allow users to chose the calendar display for daily, weekly, or monthly. Firefox browser, Windows 10.

  9. Allow user to choose calendar default display

    You recently changed the user's ability to select a monthly as the default for displaying the calendar. Reducing user's ability to pick Mail and Calendar displays, isn't an improvement. Now whenever I open the calendar it defaults to weekly regardless of whether I have chosen monthly the last time I used it. Please allow the user to select the default calendar display. Windows 10, Firefox browser.

  11. Remove the gray background on the list of messages in the inbox

    As above - I find it really difficult to read the list of messages with the grey background ... and there is no way to remove it. The old version was much clearer

    I cannot even mark these as spam or possible threats without it connecting to it. I can't even delete them! That's just not right.   14. 1) Show the latest emails on top when it is part of previous email string or response. 2) The attchements get disappeared during when I send

    I am your paid customer and have been using Yahoo Mail since 1993, but your service need attention which is not User friendly now.
    1) How do you see the latest email on TOP, so your customers don't have to spend time scrolling down? This should be logical, but your email keeps the OLD on top which is annoying.
    2) My attachment disappears after I respond to the original email. This is also annoying and waste my time.
    Previous version of your Yahoo Mail did not have these problems.

  15. Please fix the scrolling problem on the inbox page/view

    My inbox will automatically navigate to one or two pages ahead or back when I'm trying to look through my emails. I may be looking at the list of emails and all of a sudden the page will change. I can navigate back to where I was, but it won't stay like that for long. The view will navigate to one or two pages ahead and I have to search again for the email I was about to open. It's very frustrating.

  16. Recent folder list in move button

    It would be great to have the list of the 5 most recent folders on top when you press the move button to move an email to a different folder. Every time you need to do it, you need to locate the folder again and again. Thanks!

  17. You can improve yhoo mail by restoring the ability for users to see the dates they entered in the calendar.

    Dear Yahoo team, please, stop improving the calendar and restore the customer's ability to see the dates I've added that are important for me. Everything has become terrible, and I'm looking for other ways to add them to the calendar from different sources.

  18. When I forward an email I am unable to delete attachments before sending

    A recent upgrade to Yahoo caused an issue where on my laptop when I forward an email, I am unable to preview/delete attachments. I would like to forward an email without all of the attachments and when I am on my laptop I cant but I can from my mobile. It is exceedingly frustrating.

  19. move the dialog box 1/2 inch higher

    When I delete an email, a little dialog box appears telling me that the message was deleted (moved, etc). Perfect. Love that! But the box appears right over the task bar and as I move on the delete the next email, the dialog box is right over the trash can... so I either have to x out the dialog box (which is an extra step every time) or wait until the dialog box disappears (which slows me down). If the box was like 1/2 inch higher... it would be perfect! thanks.

  20. Connect multiple Comcast mailboxes after migrating to Yahoo

    I have more than one email from my years at Comcast.net and use one as my primary, and another as secondary. There seems to be no way, after a half hour of working at it, to combine another (or ANY) Comcast Mailbox. Options are there for Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo, AOL, and 'Other.' Nothing seems to work.
    I still want to be able to use the one sign in to monitor all my email accounts.
    Please advise if this is possible, and my best steps to make it happen.
