Unfortunately, you cannot revert back. We are only making the new one better. We know change is frustrating and hard but we really hope you'll give the new layout a fair chance.


WHAT'S NEW:
Calendar - We moved it from under "More" on the right hand side to it's own icon. Still on the right hand side, but it's now the first icon next to Starred and Contacts.

TIPS:
Disable Inbox Categories (All, Primary, etc) - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Inbox Categories.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Sort By Sender - This is still a sorting option, but you must disable Conversation view under your Settings. Then you will see "Sender name"
Disable AI Summaries - Go to Settings > AI features > Toggle Off

  3. Need to separate emails by dates - IMPORTANT

    In the new look, all the email dates run into one another. I liked how in Basic Mail, you had emails that were separated by today's date, yesterday's, then by week and then older. Without the separation, like it is now, you can't quickly notice how many emails came in for today, etc.

  4. Bring back the option for the old Yahoo Mail!!!!

    I want the Old Yahoo layout. The "switch to old Yahoo Mail doesn't work" feature DOES NOT WORK. Please bring this back - the new one is awful.

  5. Easier viewing discussion emails under one email subject.

    Have a button to collapse back and forth emails in one email string instead of having all discussion emails expanded where one will have to keep scrolling to find the latest and greatest email.

  7. Adding some background color would enhance the visual appearance. Only having black or white makes it difficult to read.

    The look is very depressing. Only having black or white background is difficult to read. Some color would make it more enjoyable to use. Just my thoughts. Thanks

  8. able too colorize- move msg too (make yellow colored) folder/catagory

    when looking at email make email bar colorable... easier for old eyes too see... like move/folders should be yellow... stop red... etc...

  12. Return to previous e mail format

    I find the new e mail format tedious and difficult to navigate...........if it can be returned to those of us who do not take a lot of tech changes well it would be terrific............using symbols rather than words to identify options is horrific

    This new look is impossible to use, it covers 90% of my screen leaving just a narrow window to view emails. It's pure garbage, how do I get my old basic yahoo back, you know, the one that's worked just fine for years ???

  14. Need a better way to show unread email

    The small purple dot next to unread email is not bold enough or large enough to highlight unread mail.
    Make it larger or highlight the entire email listing, like the old yahoo mail.

  15. Can't See the Whole Email

    When an email message is displayed on my laptop screen, I can't see the whole image because the right side is obscured by ads. I have to move the image left and right to read it. This is very annoying. I implore you to revert to the old version of email and stop this torture!
