Make Streaks and Gamification Features Optional - I Don't Want Them!
Hello. I have been a Yahoo mail user for many years and have been happy with the performance and features offered in my mail box. However, I'm finding the recent gamification and streak features to be annoying, distracting, and unnecessary I would like to have the option to turn these off but in doing some research, it seems that these are mandatory, not optional. help the eye sort thru read and unread in the inbox
There needs to be a difference between read and unread email line backgrounds in inbox list of emails. Even a slight difference would help direct the eye to what you are looking for.

Suggestions for improving action button consistency and visibility in the new Yahoo Mail Interface
In the new layout, the action buttons are arranged differently in the inbox view and when an individual email message is opened. In particular, options such as Read/Unread, Move, and Delete do not appear in a consistent order or location across these two views.
Inbox view: When selecting an email, the toolbar displays actions such as Archive, Move, Delete, Mark as Read/Unread, and other options in a particular order.

Shade every other line in the email inbox
I am not opposed to change. But there is something about this new system that makes it very hard to read through my list of emails. I've switched from light to dark mode and back. I've tried to put the block up to view my messages. Neither of those worked and there is nothing else to try. I think it's the way that they're spaced out down the list and all of the different symbols and boxes - the checkbox, the "mark as read" button, the symbol of the company/person who is emailing. Deleted Folders
When the new email was implemented, ALL of my Folders were deleted on both of my accounts. I really need the info that I had placed in those folders. Can they be retrieved?

this is much worse than the previous version of yahoo mail
Something else ridiculous about this new version. Before, when we had an address at the top of an email, if we clicked on it, we could copy the address. Now we cannot. Again, just adding to the work burden of using it compared to the old one. Trying to revert to the old one did not work.

Get rid of the challenges. Pointless. Juvenile. Distracting.
The challenges are a distraction to those of us who just want to read our mail. I am not a six year old. I don't need a game associated with my email. Get rid of this feature.

spam folder search
The whole point to search Spam folder is to see if something got there accidentally, but you made it impossible to search reach spam folder. Even if I go to the folder itself and search for the keyword I see right there, it cannot find it.. PLease fix

Fix a problem
Mark as read interval options: Immediately, after 2 seconds, after 5 seconds or never.
I have chosen 5 seconds, yet, I can have an email open for a second after archiving or deleting the previous one, yet, as I watch my mailbox, that email changes from unread to read, anyway, as opposed to my choice and especially opposed to the way it used to work before you made us accept this WITHOUT EVEN OUR INPUT.
PLEASE, FIX THIS.

less blank space
I can only see 6 messages listed at a time, the body of the email is very small so takes constant scrolling to read the whole message. Especially difficult when a flyer is embedded in the email.

PLEASE change the layout of the new yahoo. I work on a 15" laptop, and the spacing of the inbox items and the preview pane means that I can only see 3 items in my inbox, and no content in the preview pane. I was able to choose old yahoo setup, but since that has been removed as an option, I will have to leave yahoo.

Get rid of redundant white spaces, please
I don't care much about functionality when the new layout takes so much eye strain to look at my inbox. Why is everything so spaced out?
The light colour theme is far too washed out and unclear, it makes it difficult to see anything. The dark theme is very harsh and makes my eyes hurt physically. If the intention was to copy Google gmail's interface (and I'm not a fan of that), then please at least add some colour options to your light theme. The current one feels like a vast space somewhere close to the North Pole.

Shaded emails when they are unread
It is EXTREMELY hard to quickly tell between read and unread emails. Is there any way you can add a theme or feature with a different color or different shading between read and unread emails? It would be much easier to quickly see them.

Where have the separations by day gone?
We can't distinguish the message like in the previous version : "day name", "last week", "last month", etc.

Ensure links sent in emails are obvious.
I had am an email come in from FedEx, which in the older version had a very obvious way of telling how to access return labels (the link to print them was highlighted a different colour and underlined, like a link). It looks like, however, your new inbox doesnt see it as such, and just showed all normal text when I was looking through the email. I had to mouse over multiple things to figure out whats up, and found the link to my labels by accident.

Make it cleaner, more color options, this interface is the worst yet. Over 20 years with yahoo and this is the lousiest interface yet. Ugly, clumsy, and it needs help. Add more colors, or go back to what was. This is awful
