Unfortunately, you cannot revert back. We are only making the new one better. We know change is frustrating and hard but we really hope you'll give the new layout a fair chance.


WHAT'S NEW:
Calendar - We moved it from under "More" on the right hand side to it's own icon. Still on the right hand side, but it's now the first icon next to Starred and Contacts.

TIPS:
Disable Inbox Categories (All, Primary, etc) - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Inbox Categories.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Sort By Sender - This is still a sorting option, but you must disable Conversation view under your Settings. Then you will see "Sender name"
Disable AI Summaries - Go to Settings > AI features > Toggle Off

  1. You can only add 10 Yahoo email accounts ... we need more as I look after my parents email

    You can only add 10 Yahoo email accounts to view... we need more as I look after my parents email as well. Fine having 50 max overall but make it so we can have any accounts available to view

  5. Go back to the old appearance.

    New is slower, way less visually appealing, and unintuitive. Completely unnecessary change.

  8. more emails visible in TO field

    When i send an email to multiple people, only the first name is visible in the TO field.
    the rest of the emails are listed as +1 or +2.

    can you change it so i can see more than one email address so i know who i'm sending to.

  10. Remove the right side thing and FIX YOUR HIGHLIGHTS IN THE EMAIL

    I don't even know WHY you need to show so much space for 4 icons to the right, it's HORRENDOUS.

    WHY when I click an email that it says highlighted in my inbox? WHO signed off on this GOD FORSAKEN ****** *** IDEA?

    The old mail was FINE, it didn't have ANY OF THESE MISSING FEATURES.

    That's the problem with new CEOs or who ever the **** is making the ******** decisions at yahoo, you can't be ******* trusted and you royally just **** me off, ********.

    Now I have to *** about figuring out what email I haven't read,…

    Where did the option to "select all unread emails" go? I enjoyed selecting this option in the "old" version. Where is it now? Please, please -- bring the old version back.

  13. bring back feature to display all email accounts in the right-hand panel at a glance

    1. Please bring back the feature that displays all email accounts in the right-hand panel at a glance, allowing us to easily see which accounts have new emails. Currently, we have to make extra clicks to check our other email accounts. Only one account is visible now.

    2. There is too much wasted blank space at the top of the interface. This space could be used more effectively to display compact email summaries and the email reading pane.

    These features are crucial!!

    So regret to express our views & options that the New version / format of your Yahoo Mail is designed so poor and inappropriately and made me ( the user ) feels so confuse and ineffectively !!!
    Please return back to the Older version / format which we have used it more effective and smooth for a long time OR give us an option to select back the Older version / format and let us keep going to use it ONCE AGAIN !!!

    Go back to the simple, easy, controllable, understandable format that we had and was the main reason I used Yahoo in the first place.

  17. Links need to show preview

    Links do not show preview anymore on new Yahoo format. Can't differentiate between READ and UNREAD anymore with new format. Background too white and can't read. Dark mode too dark. Need a background to even it out like on the old Yahoo format.

  18. Read messages darker color

    I keep my read messages in my inbox folder, but the previous version made the read messages much darker so that it was easy to navigate through the read and unread messages by scrolling down (yes, I know I can just select "unread messages" to view those); however, it is nice to be able to look at what I have received in a single day (say, on Monday) and see what I have read and unread by how dark or light they are colored. Just something to consider. It probably wouldn't take much to make the read messages just shaded…
