Rosters/Lineups - Commissioner can remove roster slots after the league drafts.
This change would allow commissioners to remove roster slots from their league after their draft. For example, the commissioner accidentally had 3 IR slots but only wanted 1. Currently the commissioner can't remove roster slots after the draft.

We should be able to add roster positions or remove roster positions not just before but after the draft, especially considering we can ask people in our league if they are game to add another W/R/T to spice it up so people have more players they can use off their bench. Why isn’t this an option…we do not need Yahoo to hold our hands & over dictatorship the app & give us more options to make our leagues funnnn!!???

I would, especially love if we could draft early, had extra roster spots, and had cut days. Draft 22 rounds Cut the rosters in august. Waivers on for priority.

This is good for post-draft pre-season dynasty/keeper leagues for baseball. Yahoo's management of NA players is abysmal. The commish should be able to set it up, similar to sleeper, where there is a max roster size once the season begins and penalties like not being able to move players or add players if the roster does not come down.

If a league comes to the consensus that they want to add a defensive player let them if they want to add another flex slot let them it is simple.

Being able to change roster positions
is just one of the many things that a
commish can change during the season
which Yahoo should NOT allow. -

Great suggestion. My leagues would love to have an extra bench position during the bye weeks, and then eliminate a bench position after the last bye week. As Kyle already posted, Yahoo already has the logic for dealing with this (no moves until you fix your roster - like currently implemented for IR).
I could have also used it once when I set up a league with an unintended position. I didn't discover it until have way through the draft. Lived with it all year. -

this is a great suggestion. Leagues that prefer to draft early and then do cut downs need this option. And Yahoo... listen up son... if more leagues draft early... you get more clicks in more months. It's in your economic interest to do this. Do it son, do it... doooooooooooooooooo ittt.

I can't believe yahoo allow changes in money leagues! WTF is up with that? For example, I made a trade with the commish and he wanted it so bad. He sent an email out saying he is moving the trade deadline up. This is just one example of integrity issues. I get my trade faster so no worries for me, but if it wasn't me then its BS. I hid the league name for Privacy
Your commissioner in (league) has updated your league with the following new settings:
Trade Reject Time - 1 day -

No changes need to be made to scoring, rosters, schedule, divisions or really anything after draft. I don't see a reason to especially change scoring after draft. you pick players based on scoring and roster setting!!

Integrity of the fantasy games should be the up-most importance here. Limiting the commish editing power after draft is obvious what needs to be done especially in cash leagues. Don't give opportunities for cash leagues to be compromised. Vote for fairness 2016!

That is way too much work to monitor every team every day to make sure they dont go over.
Yahoo wouldnt have to figure out who to remove.. it would just show your roster has having too many players and wouldn't let you make any moves until you fixed it. Just like it does when you have a player on IR that is no longer eligible for IR.

Kevin to preserve the integrity of the contest the settings should be locked after the draft. That is your fault for forgetting to change that. Now if you want to change settings then you send out a request to the league and with at least half the votes yahoo gives you permission to change. This is fair for all. Similar to vetoing a trade, but a little different. (until week 1 is not a bad idea, but not as good as this idea)

I assume you mean going from 30 to like, 25? You can do this yourself by using Edit Rosters to remove players from teams, then just monitor the league to make sure no one exceeds the new roster size.
If Yahoo! were to reduce each team by 5 BN slots, how would Yahoo! know which 5 to remove from each team?

My league drafts early to 30 man rosters. We should be able to edit roster sizes after the draft to accommodate roster cut downs like the NFL

I believe that the commissioner should be able to change the roster positions. Just like I forgot to change from a 3 WR set and make it 2 WR with a FLEX. Now we have to do this all league. Or, make it to where anything can be changed until it comes time for WEEK 1 then this is locked in.

We need to limit after draft editing for fairness for all. Editing settings after draft is obviously cheating!

Below is what you (yahoo) post before the mock drafts. So, why have the option for commissioners to change the settings after the draft. Makes no sense at all. Keep the same settings before and after draft! This is how I am going to draft my players and expect the league stat categories for all season long.

Lock in all settings after draft! Changes after draft is cheating. I suggest if the commish wants to make a change. Have the option for them to make the change, but to get it passed then it must be approved by half the league. So, in a 12 man league it needs 6 people to vote yes and then whatever the commissioner wants changed will be changed! This makes it fair for everyone.
