Schedule/Scoring Formats - 'Doubleheaders vs league score median'.
Each week, the median fantasy points of all teams in the league is calculated by taking the middle number in a sorted list of scores of each team. Each team would get a win if they beat the league median and a loss if they lose to it.

For leagues where the "vs. median" feature is turned on, it would be great if your matchup page could just rank each team 1 to x by score with a line drawn at the median to show where you stand. Live updating would swap people up and down. This would be much more interactive than a little box at the top showing what the median is. For my league, I have been doing a spreadsheet on my own every Monday afternoon so people know where they stand going into MNF. Seems like a very easy thing to incorporate since the data is already there...

Yahoo: Behind a $25 Paywall (per yr, per season)
Tyler Nofziger commented
I've been a Yahoo Fantasy user for probably 20 years and have been a commissioner of a league for 12 years on Yahoo and was so appalled by the $25 ask price for this long-awaited feature that I'm thinking about moving my leagues elsewhere.
Please either make the $25 a one-time purchase for the league for life, or make the price more reasonable ($5-$10 per year).
$25 per year is insanely high.
I love that you finally have this feature but whoever decided on the price estimated WAY too high.

Should be free, have been asking about this for years!
Been waiting for years to get the league median option added to Yahoo football and its finally here behind a pay wall?! When it's free on Sleeper. Absolutely ridiculous. And to make it worse its $25 dollars PER LEAGUE, PER SEASON. It's almost laughable how much of a rip off this is. You guys are about to lose a bunch of leagues to other platforms.
You're going to try and charge for a setting that is free on other platforms?! Are you trying to drive away your loyal customers. Ridiculous

You add the setting but put it behind a paywall? A paywall that isnt offered to Canadian residents? Who made this decision?

Lets go Yahoo! You have been gathering feedback for almost 2 years. Can you please add this feature. Either to play two teams per week OR one team and the league average. Other platforms have this feature...
Nick Lefler commented
Our Yahoo FF league of 15 years is strongly thinking about moving to sleeper solely because yahoo does not have this feature.
David Golnick commented
Yes we all want this
Robert Burry commented
I have had everyone in my league (12 person) ask me to enable this.
Levi Luttrell commented
Yes, let's get this added. It is an important addition when other hosts are adding it. A great enhancement for the good of the sport.
Mark DAngelo commented
Seriously, how long are you going to gather feedback?? The feedback is that you need to enable this feature and it's loud and clear.
You guys have not done ANYTHING in two years based on any user voice suggestions. What a joke. Why do we even have this website if it will take a decade before any change is implemented?

All-play OR vs. League median scoring option for 2023!
Lets do it Yahoo!
Please add this for 2023. Sleeper has this option and I don't want to move my league to a different platform. This is a critical add.
This idea was added way back in 2021 and hasn't been implemented and is still "gathering feedback?!" Yahoo get your stuff together so you don't have droves of leagues leaving for Sleeper who consistently update their product.

I fell in love with this idea when it was presented in an end of 2021 season survey (along with "Guillotine" and "All Play" options) but disappointed to see it not implemented by Yahoo in 2022. ESPN offered "bonus wins/losses" and it worked well (think of it as the best of both worlds ... rewarding Head to Head victors without alienating those who would be the leaders/higher seeds in a Points only league).

We have a 12-team league and we play a 16-game schedule (haven't added the 17th game yet). There are 2 divisions and we play each team in our division twice and each team in the other division once...it's perfect because that allows us 3 weeks for our playoffs. Weeks 15-16-17. For several years I have tried to get Yahoo to install doubleheader options for their leagues but nothing ever happens. We plan on adding the 17th game next season but reducing the playoffs from 6 teams to 4 teams. Here is how it will work...we have 2 doubleheaders, the first one is week 4 and the 2nd one is week 15. We chose those weeks to avoid the bye weeks so each team is at full strength. We have been using doubleheaders now for 5 years and it helps to create balance of scheduling, each team plays their divisions opponents twice and the other division once (next season with the extra game one team in the other division will be played twice). It's helps to keep our league just like the NFL in the # of game splayed....afterall this is all about having fun and the more games you play the more fun it is....right? It creates a lot of extra work for the commissioner, having to update the standings by hand each week but this way no one can cry about who has the tougher schedule or weaker schedule....it keeps balance and I'm all about keep balance in our leagues. I am more than happy to help anyone who wishes to install doubleheaders into their leagues....just email me. email@example.com. I've been doing this for 44 years and we have everything down to a tee. Please add option for 2 Win League / Doubleheader System.
Joe Cioffi commented
This would be a great addition. We are considering moving our league to sleeper app b/c they have this function, but if you guys add it, then no need to move the league. We are happy with everything else.
PLEASE ADD THIS FEATURE!

I have used Yahoo for Fantasy Football since 2006. I really do not want to have to switch Fantasy platforms, however Yahoo needs to take action on this. I vaguely remember that I was able to adjust the Win/Loss record manually in the past, and now I cannot find that commissioner tool anymore.
If Yahoo is unable to create League Median format, please give us the option to go in and adjust the Win/Loss record manually. I know that other platforms have the option with this type of format, and I really don't want to have to switch my league over to that. Thanks,
