How can we make Fantasy Football better?

Rosters/Lineups - Roster limits for positions.

This feature would allow commissioners to set the maximum and minimum number of players a team can roster at each position at a given time. For example, teams can have a maximum of 3 QBs on their roster or a team can have a minimum of 1 kicker. Currently there is no way to set the maximum or minimum number of players a team can roster at each position.

    roster limits should be made available to private leagues who want them. It would be optional for a league to adopt it, not mandatory. But right now Yahoo is so extremely limited that we never have a choice for anything.

    Why so rigid, Yahoo? It makes your product inferior to the others out there that provide many more options for leagues.

    Please put back the smack talk box on the page. It's one of the best things I loved about yahoo and now that it's gone I don't know if we'll be using yahoo for fantasy for our league. Thank you and I really look forward to you putting it back.

    I am AGAINST this suggestion.
    I don't want to have to check the settings of each league that I might join to make sure that its commissioner didn't put maximums into the league.

    Makes sense to me. If we had a 16 team league or a 2 QB league I think a 2 QB limit would be mandatory

    Like in an espn league where you can set a certain number of players per position. Like 2 max QB's, 4 max RB's, 5 max WR's, etc. This can be optional too, no need to force it on league commissioners.

    Aubry and JK: You don't understand the suggestion. It wouldn't be mandatory. Just an option for any private league that has roster limits. No one would force your leagues to adopt this. Many leagues impose position limits on certain positions. ESPN, RTSports, MFL and all the major host sites allow leagues to set their own roster limits or not. Unfortunately Yahoo still has its head up its **** and acts like this is 1998 and is too stupid to do what every other suite does.

    This is adjusted in league settings. Just don't join a multiple QB league or change the settings in your league.

    This would be helpful as **** to cut down on QB hoarding in football, Goalie hoarding in hockey and Starting Pitcher hoarding in baseball - DO IT YAHOO, you haven't added much to the experience now in a couple of years

    This needs to be a MUST HAVE!
    As commissioner the setting is a valuable tool and makes weekly monitoring easier.
    Should be very easy to add a setting for max. positons i.e. 2qb 3rb 4wr etc!
    This prevents player hoarding and makes for more action on the waiver wire!
    MAKE THIS HAPPEN!

    PLEEEEASE make the max players position option under the Commissioner's "Edit Roster Positions". I know ESPN has this option and it makes the fantasy football leagues run much smoother.

    I signed up for a private league instead of the public league I am in. How can I delete myself from the public league

    Just moved over from espn and this is a big disappointment. It's going to be a manual process for me to monitor everyone's rosters. We have a QB/RB/WR/TE spot so the big issue is making sure someone can't hoard QB's.

    @Durnferd: @YahooCare In NFL fantasy mock drafts, where can you change default roster positions to QB,WRx3,RBx2,TE,W-T,W-R,K,DEF,BNx6?
