Free speech.
I would recommend everyone leaves Yahoo as i shall be. I will also be leaving the stranglehold of Google and Facebook. It takes time, but it can be done. There are other platforms for emails, and a limited number where freedom of speech and ideas is not only allowed, but actively encouraged. Yahoo has obviously decided to join the ranks of those who want total control, such as Google and Facebook, but people are now realising there are alternatives, and these control freaks will eventually fail.

My Comments
Put back the My Comments at the end of your published articles. You are losing a lot of people who are defecting to other search engines. What is the point of making a comment and then not being able to see any replies? I don't know why you took away this facility in the first place!

Your closure of comments has coincided with a increase in left wing media bias that is far removed from public opinion.
Some examples: the coverage of the Conservative party and Boris in particular, your coverage of the BLM riots (or lack thereof), your coverage of fake news climate change articles, etc.

Police your "FAKE" news stories!
GET RID OF THESE FAKE NEWS STORIES! Prince Harry, Daniel Radcliffe and Russell Brand stories leading to a FAKE BBC news site which is an advert for Crypto-mining!
Disgusting abuse and quite possibly the illegal use of the BBC webpage layout in an ADVERT!!!!!3rd ranked -

Bring back the comments section.
Dictated censorship, by removing free speech. When you already had the power to remove offensive or abusive comments. This is akin to soviet Russia and North Korea.

Comments
The reason you provided for stopping comments is "...to create a safe and engaging place for users..." which, I suspect, is complete hogwash. Opinions and debate are not supposed to be 'safe'. That is the whole point of free speech; to be able to express one's opinion without fear of censorship, but with the risk of disagreement and criticism. Whilst the quality of comment is often poor, that is more a reflection of people's frustration at being ignored by successive Governments on both sides of the Atlantic. Silencing it just makes the issue worse. Yahoo is guilty of the worst…

Your anti-Trump bias is grotesquely obvious.
Try reporting news in a balanced fair and just approach. Remember what you were taught in Journalism 101? Yeah, apply that. That would be a good start.

Give me a proper option to manage adverts. I doubt if yours is even legal. I don't want personalised adverts.
A real option to manage adverts, rather than forceably allowing your sleazy partners to finger through my profile and my life. Yahoo, you're nothing than a ****.

Bitcoin Scam promotions via the Yahoo medium.
Yahoo are knowingly showing articles for famous celebrities which (when selected) direct readers to Bitcoin scams. As Yahoo are obviously getting paid for hosting these articles on a regular basis - it begs the question as to whether they may be (by not removing said articles), complicit to the fraud in some way??
