I tried the new Yahoo page. If my.yahoo.com goes away, so will I. The new page is all ads and not customizable. It looks useless. I'm already looking for a new home page.

If you remove My Yahoo, me and many other users will leave. I am one of your biggest fans; Yahoo mail was my first and still is my primary email. I use Yahoo search engine when most people use Google. I have used My Yahoo as my go to homepage for as long as I can remember. It is set up exactly how I want it. If you take it away, I will have to find a new alternative and there are lots out there!! I don't understand why you want fewer users.

2024 changes to My Yahoo
If you must do this, keep it SIMPLE, clean, and EASY to navigate. Add BOOKMARKS and make it easy to transfer all the ones I have saved. It is so sad to see something so simple and easy to use now get complicated and smothered by so much content, most of which is useless junk.

The most important feature of MyYahoo to me is the ability to construct my own homepage of various newsfeeds. I am not seeing this feature in the new Yahoo.

Your idea of 'interesting' and mine are totally different
Your idea of "interesting" and mine are way different. There is no way to personalize the page to my liking.

The “new Yahoo.com” is not the same as a “new MyYahoo.”
A new MyYahoo should be customizable with small, repositionable modules, a choice of news sources, bookmarks, customizable weather reports, and, above all, a Yahoo EMAIL PREVIEW. Anything else is NOT a “new My Yahoo.”

You people are dipshits. Leave My Yahoo the fk alone. It is useful as it is. I've looked at your new site and it is god-awful. Why do you people insist on screwing things up?!!! The old mantra of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" is certainly true for this. Just because you can change something doesn't mean you should. Who is the idiot that came up with this? Whoever he/she/they are, you are paying them way too much. They are about as worthless as ** on a boar hog.

Keep My Yahoo. I use it multiple times a day. It shows exactly what I want to see. No algorithm will show me more, correctly.
Do not remove MyYahoo. There is no world where reading the information I want by scrolling is going to keep me as a paying Yahoo customer.

Bad Idea. Leave it as it is!
Just leave My Yahoo unmodified. I have it as my homepage with my Portfolio, lots of Yahoo plus lots of RSS inputs from sites not available in the Yahoo "Add Content" menu. My Yahoo is great and do not want an algorithm fed substitute. I will move to an alternative RSS site if you implement the your new site. I have looked at your new yahoo.com. It is bad.

I agree with all the commenters who don't want to lose My Yahoo. PLEASE DON"T TAKE IT AWAY!!! I have no problem with it....there is nothing that needs to be fixed. PLEASE LEAVE WELL ENOUGH ALONE!!!

New Yahoo QUESTIONS
QUESTIONS: 1) Will we be able to customize the new Yahoo as we could with the old Yahoo? 2) What will happen to our Bookmarks/Favorites? 3) What will happen to our customized Dashboard? 4) Is the new Yahoo going to subject us to ads? Keep in mind that you are not the only game in town - we can easily go elsewhere & we will.

Turned on my computer home page tonight and found the following at the top of the screen:
My Yahoo will be going away soon
We're building a new yahoo.com to show more of what's interesting to you.I have spent more than 20 years making "MY YAHOO" what I want it to be. What stupid, incompetent "GENIUS" at YAHOO thinks he can make it "more interesting to me" when you have no idea what my interests are. Well, bottom line, you can't!!! And if I have to start over again, guaranteed it won't be with YAHOO.
