   When young, during the early-70s, life’s circumstances permitted having a eight-inch monotone television from Sears. It set on a small chest of draws. Which was on the western wall of my bedroom. When, I was near Kindergarten age.

   Besides, the Wonderful World of Disney's capturing my imagination along with Hanna Barbera and Looney Tune cartoons. I often watched Star Trek, a Desilu production, on NBC and Nova on PBS. From which, a love of mathematics and the sciences developed. And, it was discovered during those years that PBS broadcast often mirrored the lessons had the next day in elementary school. So, it prepared me well. And, I did outstanding work rating as an outlier on the California Achievement Test during fourth grade in the ’79 –’80 academic year.

   While, watching a particular episode of Star Trek, Captain Kirk told Scotty that he should activate the warp drive. And, that droning sound which was always associated with that engine starting was heard. And, I asked the Creator how might warp drive work. And, the following thoughts formed in my mind.
   • I had learnt from NOVA that like ends of a permanent magnetic will repel.
   • I had also learnt from NOVA that one might block a magnetic field with a shielding material.
   • I dawned upon me that, if one shields the magnetics, brings them in close proximity, and then removes the shielding material; they would fly apart.
   • I also became apparent that the energy required in bringing them near one another would not be as great as the energy they generated. When, they repelled.
   One set of facts that had not been learnt at that time was Newton’s three primary laws of motion. So, I did not know that that could not be done.

   Since, those years that idea has been shared at times. So, an engine or an generator based upon that basic concept and principle might already be patented. If, building one is feasible and practical. At times, one’s intuition does not hold water. When, one builds a prototype. Most notably, this notion on efficient energy generation was shared during physics courses in secondary school and college. It was shared with instructors and students. Life has shown that information and ideas travel rapidly through the international network of research scientists. This was true well-before the world wide web became widespread during the mid-90s and the Internet entered academic environments during the early-80s. Colleagues have always been a short telephone call or brief letter away. So, an novel and original idea shared in the American Heartland might reach Europe, the Asia-Pacific region, or other distant parts of the world in only a few minutes or days. And, since it has been frequently shared since the 70s. You might already have this. It simply has not been made public and become widespread. Because, it would be so disruptive. Which would not be surprising.

   The university was started as a physics major; however, life’s circumstances drove me from that niché. So, this idea was never investigated as a engineering or physics doctorate. As, many bright individuals know those around them who do not see themselves as having similar ability often cause trouble and disrupt one’s efforts and pursuits. That is life. That is normal people. Life eventually afforded a pair of post-baccalaureates, one in computer science and the other in software engineering. They were only permitted because my barriers were at awe with computing and thought that it would not be attainable for me. So, they allowed the initial studies without any great intentional interruptions. And, with sufficient momentum gained, degrees were reached. Albeit, it was quite a struggle. It was not the subject matter. It was the individuals who were part of my life. Life is not easy. When, one is hated, in general, by the majority and his own community because he is bright, inquisitive, and giving.

   However, that is of little importance. What is key is that a PBS broadcast was seen on January 15, 26 concerning the future energy demands from data centers and manufacturing plants in America. It was shared that that need might eclipse the current energy usage of the entire country of France in the coming years. Based upon, the projected energy usage of such facilities. Upon viewing that, this idea resurfaced in my mind while talking with someone about life and past contributions this morning, the 16th. So, I thought that I might share it again with some organizations who might value it. Because, it has never been said by any of my physics instructors or mentors in the sciences that it was not and would not be a useful or feasible strategy for storing and generating energy.

   It was said during that broadcast that the current presidential administration is cancelling renewable energy projects and advancing oil exploration and production. Truth be told, a blended and balanced mixture of energy sources, generation approaches, and engine types is best. One must diversify for stable and sustained growth. Like, he does with the stocks in his retirement portfolio. Then, we might be an energy rich nation.

   Life has shown that sharing ideas is better than hording them. It is like passing the ball or shuttle in a team sport. He who passed the idea will not likely be the one who advances it or who scores. But, the goal is that the team wins. And, life is best lived as a team sport. As, it has been said teamwork makes the dream work.

   Most of the original ideas which I have shared over the years have profited many. Some have won prestigious awards, like a Turing, when advanced by others. And, some have saved lives, like Nicorette. Of which, I am most thankful considering that He used me that way.

   So, this idea is shared with your organization in hopes that you or someone else might build a worthwhile prototype. If, it is feasible and practical.

2. Silence on the Massacre in Iran Is Not Acceptable

   I see Yahoo’s homepage daily and cannot ignore the news it chooses to amplify — or the critical stories it omits. That is why I am deeply troubled by the near-total absence of coverage regarding the ongoing massacre and violent repression of civilians in Iran.

   Regardless of political orientation, the killing of protesters, mass arrests, internet shutdowns, and state violence against a population demanding basic rights is a major international human-rights crisis. Its omission from your front-page news is not a neutral editorial choice — it sends a message that some lives, and some atrocities, are less worthy of attention than others.

   Many Yahoo users, particularly those with family, history, or direct ties to Iran, experience this silence as painful and alienating. News organizations have a responsibility to inform, not selectively ignore, especially when the stakes are this high.

   I strongly urge Yahoo News to reflect on its editorial priorities and to provide fair, visible, and ongoing coverage of the situation in Iran. Silence in the face of mass violence is not impartiality.

   Y'all really gotta stop trying to push these content creators, nepo babies & the like down our throats. Everyday I log on & the feed/front page is just some dumb story about a bikini Kylie Jenner wore or how some nepo baby is making an album or what someone wore to get a milkshake. NO ONE wants this. We want news, art, sports, weather. Things that matter. Let the user control what they see. I understand you have to make money from ads, but spare me the ******** celebrity nonsense.

    Hello, Reaching out to share that the Business Hours listed for our business: Raising Cane's Edison NJ, is incorrect. Currently you are reflecting our correct holiday hours for WED 12/31 of 10am-3pm but CLOSED all other days. We are closed on New Year's Day only. For the following week, and all weeks outside of holiday weeks, are hours are as follows: Sunday through Thursday: 10am-1am and Fri & Sat: 10am-2am. Thank you!

13. Notify Yahoo News users of being banned from commenting, and how to resolve.

    Ladies and Gentlemen: I just now talked to a helpful Yahoo representative in Estonia, and he directed me to this site for resolution of my problem: For more than two months now I have been effectively blacklisted from making reader comments regarding Yahoo News articles. No matter how respectful, benign or "vanilla" my comment - such as "good point," for example - it appears to post, but then I soon receive an e-mail message saying that I have "violated community standards" and my comment has not been accepted.

    I have received no notice or explanation that I have effectively been banned from commenting, or how to go about resolving this ban, but it is quite apparent that this is indeed the case - even though I have always tried to be respectful and non-controversial in attempting - albeit unsuccessfully - to comment on various Yahoo News articles.

    Please tell me how to go about resolving this exasperating dilemma!

    Those lengthy stories that tell us about revenge gotten on despicable family members, contain a malware that installs fake Norton or McAfee "scans" that tell me I have dozens of viruses and I need to "renew my McAfee now"....

    I have never had McAfee... and yes, I am certain that it's those websites, the malware pops up when I'm about 2/3 of the way through them... I strongly suggest you not only refuse their business any more, you should consider filing charges against them for using your website to promote their disgusting scams... I have used Yahoo as my home page for nearly 30 years now, but if you continue to allow these scammers to use your forum, I'll find another home page... I am highly disgusted; you guys really need to investigate the companies who are paying you to run their scams, and stop them-- you owe it to us...

17. Please put legit news stories at the top of your Home/News page and stop with all the agenda driven "Opinion" pieces.

    Your opinion pieces are presented with the same style, and mixed in with, legitimate news pieces. It makes one wonder if there is OBVIOUS news bias. Give users some type of option with regard to one-sided "opinion" pieces.

18. You need to allow users more choice in content and ads. I think Yahoo thinks I am a guy who likes naked women. I don't. I am an older woman

    You need to offer choices like intelligent, older, decency, morality in ads and news. There is far too much Hollywood style **** offered as news. If you use AI now or in the future teach it how to act more like a grownup than a child with too much sexual perversion. I have noticed that all my news sources have denigrated over recent years. You all are into the sensation business and not the real news business. Just stop it.

20. Taking the Mashable sales off your ad choices

    Mashable is absolutely the biggest scam ad on the yahoo platform. I have been a yahoo user for decades, and I finally purchase some software that was advertised on the Mashable website because it was on Yahoo, they vet their advertisers. The product key I purchased was a foreign product that should have never been sold in the US. They have no customer service number and emailing them was even more of a waste of time. Thanks Yahoo. I won't be purchasing anything from your platform again.
