The spam is so ridiculous. I think it is advertisers paying yahoo. I get 100 to 200 every day from two e-mail addresses and I have made rules and added the addresses to the blocked e-mail and they still come through. All but these two have been stopped so I wonder if it is yahoo's advertisers and they are paying yahoo. Makes no sense. Never seen anything like it. It does not happen with any other e-mail service I have used. If I block it or make rules, it works. This is unique to yahoo....very interesting

Please bring back the counter showing the number of unread messages in the spam folder. I need to check the folder for new client emails that end up in there, and now I don't know when something shows up. So I forget to check it, and then the email is gone before I see it.

Yahoo mail is the worst. I get 100 ++++ emails in my spam folder. Out of control. I recently switch to Gmail. Way better. Never had spam in my spam folder. I have attempted several times to unsubscribe, but it is a waste of my time. It does not work. Horrible

I never ever received the quantity of SPAM now experienced. If somethings changed, change it back.

12-15 pieces of repeated Spam now coming into my inbox. I understand I am now supposed to start setting filters, determining Senders to be blocked, etc. I do not understand why spam that was blocked automatically is now allowed through and it is up to me to deal with it. Certainly this is something to be dealt with at the server system level. Do NOT give me info on how to block or unblock email addresses - you should have system filters to auto-direct such mail to my spam folder. If it has to be done manually, you've moved email handling back to 2004.

How about customer support responding how on to mark spam to stop the same spam from getting into inboxes. Yahoo did get hacked right.

I have received 2 OBVIOUS phishing emails in as many weeks, from the same person, posing as an Apple staff member stating that my password had been compromised. both bypassed the spam filter and ended up in my inbox

Um - how long is it going to take before it occurs to the programmers that messages from Yahoo Groups that a user belongs to are not spam?
I must have marked several dozen of them as "Not spam" by now, and even more of them are going into the spam folder!
You guys used to have the best spam filter around! Why did you change it??

You know your spam filters are screwed up when your own messages to the users get put in your own Spam folder! LOL!

Since the change to the new format I am seeing an enormous amount of spam each morning when I check my email. The spam filter is obviously not working well. I definitely prefer the old format.

Number of new emails in spam folder should be indicated like the older version did because sometimes non-spam mail is dropped into it. Without the 'new arrival' indication, you easily forget to check the spam folder and in fact, I missed a few important emails because of this.

Too much spam. This is ridiculous. WE all think yahoo is sending it to get people to pay for a "Pro" account.
