   Where do I find the setting icon to block unwanted emails, as you've
   explained that is the way Yahoo have given users a better and easier way

2. Now longer accepts Adblockers.

   First you are constantly changing the format. If it isn't broken leave it alone. Most of the new formats aren't what the users want and I doubt asked for.
   I have used Yahoo for decades and have three accounts. Logged in a few minutes ago and my Adblocker has been bypassed and I am now spoon feed ad of your choice or ones you think are what i want to see. It was bad enough when you decided to put company logo in that space with all there information. I didn't ask for that, need that and it is bothersome.
   Just might be time to say goodbye to Yahoo. I have other email accounts that don't force ads on their users.

5. Why do I have to have a verification code to sign into my account?

   I do not have 2 factor authentication. Yet when I need to sign into my yahoo email when I am away from my usual place, I cannot access my Yahoo email. It wants to send an authentication code to my recovery email. Unfortunately, other email platforms are doing the same thing. So I go in circles --- I can't access Yahoo because email code was sent to my other email. I cannot access that other email account because a code was sent to my Yahoo account. And so on. Which means I cannot travel away from my home computer to get any work done. This is highly frustrating. I do not have a cell phone and none of these platforms allow VOIP. So when I am away from my home computer, I am basically screwed. Have it setup so I can create my own security question to which only I know the answer. That will eliminate this weird circular problem. I need access to my email. A hacker would have gotten into my email a lot faster than I trying to get to my other email (the recovery email which also has a recovery email). Even when I don't have 2 factor authentication set up!!!!!!! This is not for my security. This is a case of Yahoo practicing CYA . Get rid of this verification codes if a person does not have 2 factor authentication !!!!!!!

   Perhaps you did not understand what I wrote in my statement. I do not own a smart phone. When I use other computer systems I am not allowed to download any apps. But I do need to check my email. I do not have 2 factor authentication setup so why do you have to send me a verification code to an email that also requires a code to be sent to a recover email even though I have put in the correct username and password on Yahoo’s email. Since Yahoo and other email platforms are doing the same thing, this creates a circular problem and as a result, I am not able to log into my email if I use a different computer or am off site. Telling me to use an app on what, a landline? How does that work? Or a simple voice-only flip phone?

   One should not have to pay to get an answer! Or is that your way of generating income?

7. Opening view of emails in a document format is not acceptable.

   Document format is not acceptable when opening an email. I cannot respond, forward, etc. from this second screen.

9. delete the sign-in helper or give the option to not use

   It's frustrating that my email account gets saved in other people's computers despite my signing out. Provide the option to not have the sign-in "helper"(which is not a help at all, but a major inconvenience) associated with your account so your login is not save on all computers.

10. Notifications please

    I have checked and rechecked my notifications - today I had both my phone on and my laptop opened in yahoo while doing work in another app, and did not receive a notification for an important incoming email - happened to see it on my phone an hour and a half later. There are a lot of us contractors who use your email because of other things I like- the ability to search, file, and keep entire history of company emails. But if I miss a call for a job, or a reply I am waiting on that affects the effectiveness of my business, at some point I would have to say enough is enough and switch. Please fix the notifications for emails for those of us who have that enabled.

    Make sure that notifications are turned on in both the account’s settings and on the device as well (in the case of your phone). It might help to remove and re-add the account/app from the device and re-add it.

    Also, keep in mind that regular Yahoo accounts are not intended for business purposed as per the Terms.

11. Why have my settings changed? I had my gmail synced with Yahoo mail and now my gmail replies are getting blocked

    Why have my setting been changed? I had my gmail synced with Yahoo and now all my replies through gmail are being blocked!! In addition, I have been trying to set it up so that all I need is the same password to get in because I do not use a phone. Yahoo won't let me do that.

14. Yahoo did it again! Why do I have do verify my login with my phone, EVERYTIME I login with my computer?

    Can't I just login with a password, like everybody elses site? Why, Yahoo, why? do I have to confirm my account, EVERYTIME I log in? Now I've had to give another email, and confirm with the last 2 of my phon e number, but then YOU ******* STILL have to send me a text message on my phone? **** this service. It's more of a hassle to get to my email on your system, then to do MATLAB computations.

17. ALLOW US TO FULLY CHANGE, CONTROL OUR EMAIL ACCT.

    I signed up my acct a decade or two ago. Now for today's security issues, I want to hide my NAME but that is one field you do not allow us to change. Same with or our DOB. You should not do that in today's environment. Back then honesty was not a big issue as it is now. The only option you give me is to get rid of an email I have had for DECADES and get another one.

18. automatically delete emails once they are 30 days unless the owner saves them in an envelope

    To stop from having such klutter in our email that makes it so overwhelming when we open it. why not give us the choice to add an automatic delete check mark on old messages that we don't want or sales adds. Like 2 weeks or 30 days. That way we use up less storage and it's not so overwhelming.

20. New Method for Online Registration for a COMMON USERNAME in every websites

    When a website admin tries to get an email account or social networking page matched to his or her domain (or person’s name or business’s name) but fails as someone else has chosen that username already. If any person or organization named ‘xyz’ want to get a specific username blank in every email service and social network for branding, then radical reform is required for current registration process. There are more problems here. A lot of people have the name of more than two, three or four words. For example, Colombian pop star Shakira’s official nick name is ‘Shakira’ and official full name is ‘Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoll’. Former Secretary of State of USA Hillary’s full name is ‘Hillary Rodham Clinton’. Everyone does not have the name of two words only that they will use the method of ‘First name- Last name’ at the time of registration. Sometimes organizations are signing up registration forms; they do not have first name or last name. Even, they do not have birth date but establishment date. Now, what’s the solution?

    ‘Use full name and nick name, not first name or last name’

    Some English dictionary says, ‘first name is the name which is given to someone when s/he was born and last name is the family name’. But this is not true for the maximum people of this world. Any word of the full name, which contains more than two words, may be people’s nick name or family name. Not only the citizens of United States of America are using Facebook, Google, Yahoo, Twitter etc. So these technology based websites should respect all culture and tradition until all the people of this world start using a common method.

    The registration form should provide the opportunity to type user’s ‘official full name’ in a single ‘One-Line Text Box’ with only the alphabet (A-Z, a-z) of English language according to legal papers (e.g. National ID card, Driving License OR Organization’s bank account statement etc). As not only human beings are opening web accounts; organizations like corporations, foundations, govt. agencies are opening accounts so the registration form will ask to know whether the user is ‘Individual’ or ‘Organization’.

    At the second step of registration process, the form must provide the option to select any of the words of the full name as ‘official nick name’ from the option button (radio button). User (both individual and organization) will be able to set any of both names (means, full name & nick name) as ‘primary’ to display & will also get the chance to alter the primary selection time to time. But organizations will get an extra facility; they will be able to set a completely different word as official nick name if its official full name does not contain the symbolic word. But symbolic word must be legal, not funny or temporary. For example, ‘National Aeronautics and Space Administration’ is the official full name and ‘NASA’ is the official nick name.

    Hope that technology based websites will change their policy for new and provide the chance to reset full name and nick name, account type (individual or organization) for old account holders.

    ‘Date’

    After that people will set their birth date and organization will set their organization’s establishment date.

    ‘Email id & web URL matching to our domain’

    It will be a meaningful change if top rated technology based websites – Google, Facebook, Yahoo, Twitter etc – provide the opportunity to create email id and web URL matching to our website address. For example, the admin of www.xyz.com will be able to open email like xyz.com@gmail.com, xyz.com@yahoo.com and to get URL like www.facebook.com/xyz.com, www.facebook.com/groups/xyz.com, http://plus.google.com/+xyz.com, http://xyz.com.blogspot.com, www.youtube.com/xyz.com, http://feeds.feedburner.com/xyz.com, www.flickr.com/xyz.com, www.twitter.com/xyz.com etc.

    (Mentionable that www.xyz.com@email.com will be redirected to xyz.com@email.com and www.socialnetwork.com/www.xyz.com will be redirected to www.socialnetwork.com/xyz.com )

    A common user, who does not have domain, will not be able to get email id or URL with dot (.) but any website admin will be able to get this any time, when s/he wishes. The technology based websites will reserve the domain matched email id & URLs till someone signup after validating the claim by uploading a ‘One Time Secret Key Based’ html file to own server. So, a person or organization named ‘xyz’ may not get the username ‘xyz’ blank everywhere but will get the common username ‘xyz.com’, if they have owned the domain. It will help everyone to memorize and also help branding. This is very important for celebrity, business, social organizations and State for branding and to ensure the verification of social networking pages.

    Simply the proposal says, if any person or organization signs up for a username without (.) dot, will not have to own a website. And if any person or organization signs up for a username with (.) dot, must own a website; besides that the website will be verified.

    There will be an extra option to make the whole process easy that if any person or organization use the web address with ‘www’ as account’s full name (for example www.shakira.com instead of ‘Shakira’ or www.whitehouse.gov instead of ‘White House’) will not need to submit any legal documents but only verify the website ownership. Here the account holder will not submit any birth date or establishment date but will also not get the chance to use nick name. If account owner change mind in future to convert the account status as ‘person’ or ‘organization’, then will get the chance.

    The old account holders will be able to reset their email id or web URL to a new domain matched id keeping all contents intact. Some people are using different accounts now to represent their websites. For example, abc@yahoo.com with the first account and www.flickr.com/xyz with the second account OR xyz.com@gmail.com with the first account and www.youtube.com/xyz with the second account. So, there must be a chance to merge multiple accounts to a single one (domain matched id/url) keeping all contents, photos, videos, mails intact with previous serial and publishing/sending date. Beside that, there shall be an option to use old email id as extra email id and old URL as extra URL for next one year which will work as forwarder only. Before all, who already opened email account or web URL with (.) dot, (but does not have any website) will receive a notice that dot will be removed within 30 days from their id or URL.

    These types of accounts will not have any expiration date, will be active till end of the earth; even after the expiration of domain. But What will happen if someone stops to renew a domain, it expires, and someone new takes or registers that domain? If the old admin of domain do not transfer the domain matched email id or web URLs to new admin, then the new admin will have to upload a ‘One Time Secret Key Based’ html file to own server by help of a special page of technology based website. The new admin will complete the whole process by and only by the specific email address, according to Whois, which is used to register and control the domain. To avoid hacking, a notice email will be sent that domain matched email address asking the old admin to upload another ‘One Time Secret Key Based’ html file to web server within 30 days. If the old admin fails to do it, after 30 days, control of email address & web URLs will be transferred to new admin at the email address which is used to register the domain, according to Whois.
