Add a "compact" view to the email interface
Paddings are way too large, text is too big:
- Around the top nav bar
- The rows with the emails are way too large, I'd like to see more of them on my screen
- The buttons are way too big they have too much paddingOther issues :
The search bar is not centered in the middle
Hovering over the rows (emails) has an outer box shadow which feels clunky, I prefer the subtle highlights.

where is the feature in the advance search to search in the body of the email
with this new update we lost the ability to search in the body of the emails
i need this functionality for retrieving information to feed an international criminal case that spans over 7 years
search is the title in not enough
i used to search with boolean operator where any keyword could appear
please let me know how i can search within the body of emails

Contacts
Further development of the Contacts section is urgently needed. Please insert an option to bulk delete all contacts. Add more possibilities to import/export with Outlook (classic). Add a possibility to handle contacts in a big screen and to sort them, edit them, merge them.

Change the "cancel subscription" location
It should be nice that "cancel subscription" won't appear immediately on hovering over the email message, otherwise one risks to click on it rather than opening the email.

first impression and suggestion for new version
Dear Yahoo mail team,
I like new version, it is faster, newer.
The first thing I would ask to improve is -
when a new message with attachments come, I cannot jump to attachments by simply clicking on attachment sign, button, it is like a picture, not functioning.
And if in the attachment there are MS excel and PDF files, they all look similar, in old version we could clearly see what file is excel what file is pdf what file is word by their color, appearance.60th ranked -

Compact Email List
Looking forward for an option to make the emails list more compact. Currently, the email list items occupy too much height. Making the list more compact helps quick visual scanning of emails subjects/titles.

Drastic reduction from 1 TB to 15 GB
Why Yahoo, after so many years, according to an email I received today, since May 05, 2026 intends to drastically reduce inbox's size (from 1 TB to merely 15 GB) and calls it an "improvement"? It feels like an attempt to force users to switch from free plan to paid plan but I reviewed the information about pay plans and even the key information about their capacity seems to be missing. I am not sure how I'll be able to delete 50% of my storage - I have 28 GB and would never expect that steep reduction from 1 TB…

Email Search doesn't work for email older than approximately 9 years
Email Search doesn't work for email older than approximately 9 years - this has been a persistent problem that last for a long time, I'm just flagging it now as I was hoping it would be fixed with the new UI. It just doesn't work. For example, I can see email from "Kaggle" if I manually scroll to 2016 of before hand. If I search Kaggle onyl email up to October 2017 are shown though.

Function for removing emails is not working
The function for deleting all unread messages does NOT remove more than 100 even when I mark Remove all.
Please sort this out before askinfg your customer to pay for storage.Br
