The new UI is horrible. Chrome and Firefox for Windows. Way too much whitespace. Way too spread out. I'm looking elsewhere. Thank You.

The email is now so small to see
You can't make that email larger so you can see everything in the email body. Makes it impossible to see the entire body which is stupid. The "new" email sucks.

Get rid of ads posing as emails
Ads posing as emails are deceptive and disgusting. Get them out of my feed.

Horrible
The last version was excellent. You went from a good layout to child-like version. I will be switching to gmail if this is not reverted in a hurry.

Sorting by sent & received
In the old e-mail you could search for emails from a person, and then designate sent, received, or all. Please restore that function.

Rules
In the old mail I could create rules that sorted adds to different folders. The new version does not seem to support this. Please bring it back.

too many "unable to delete contact" error messages
I get quite a few "Unable to delete contact" error messages. I don't see that there would be any concurrency issues involved, since my Contacts are a private database with no other users and I don't have the contact records open in more than one place. So it's either a latency issue, a timeout, or a dependency of some kind, in which case the error message should give more information. There are also times when I get a "contact deleted" error message but the contact remains in the list on the Contacts panel, so the UI has not been refreshed.

Make unread messages more visible
Using just bold to unread messages is stupid. Add background color like it was previously. Make this mail move faster like the old one, now its like in delay...so frustrating. Your product is worst, you did your ab testing and got the negative feedback and still decided to go along with this ********* product theme

worse mail format "up-date" ever !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have been through many so called up-dates with the mail format but this is the worth ever !!!
There is no contrast, just one blurry white screen, it's difficult to differentiate between read/un-read emails.
Folder names, emails have been transferred to, are difficult to read
Overall it is outrageously- I am considering switcing to Outlook71st ranked -

Remove icons. Move inbox ads to right-hand column. Tighten up space.
- I just permanentlydeleted a bunch of important info, because everything had the same CS/Customer Service icon. I did not realize they were from different business customer services until I had already deleted about 30. The icons are distracting, space-wasting, irrelevant, and unnecessary. Get rid of them.
- Too much wasted space on the page. Tighten it up, so it more user-friendly and efficient. Reduce space between lines, ensure at least 25 messages are visible at a time.
- There is a HUGE amount of wasted space to the right under the Yahoo ad. Put the ad bar presently blocking the emails over…

Display full email address of sender -- not just what the spoofers want us to see
Yahoo hides the full address of the sender so it is much harder to see spoofed or fake emails. Yahoo supports spoofing by only displaying what the sender wants us to see. I have to go through multiple steps on every email to see who it is actually from.
Why is Yahoo adding such support to spoofers and other criminal activity???
The full sending email address has to be visible on the screen without going through any additional steps.
You are doing a dis-service to your users and supporting crime.

Sort by sender / select a year - to aid in deleting old emails
I am a long-time Yahoo Mail user. I'd love to clear out emails with commercial intent that have long-been forgotten. It would be helpful to be able to sort by sender, so that vendor emails from 10 years ago can be easily found rather than stick around in the middle of my inbox - inaccessible, because I can no longer remember I used to receive emails from them. Please consider this basic feature. I have been trying to manage my inbox, but some of the emails are completely inaccessible with the tools you've provided. Ability to access particular years could…

Leave well enough alone.
I gave the new layout two days, and I don't like it AT ALL!! Give us the option to choose the old layout. The new one is unpleasant and not working for me.
The folder column is too narrow. I want the option to make it as wide as I want it with a click-and-drag.

Major Improvement
The New Yahoo Mail can be vastly improved by going back to the old one. The new one is harder to discern the difference between each email listed, it is harder to find options, and it just simply looks unappealing.

do not roll out a new product untill bugs have been worked out!! This is not senior friendly
I would like my old email back and I cannot be the only one who does not like this new system! Cannot believe you would roll out something with bugs still in it and it is not senior friendly!

The new interface is terrible
I love the old interface. It was smooth, purple, had easy navigation icons such as being able to select a subcategory of emails (read, unread, etc) without having to select one email first. The arrow button to bring you back to the top of your inbox was also very useful. I also don't llke how my inbox goes straight to my primary inbox now, I would like to see all my emails first. Why can't I select which inbox shows up first? It is very frustrating and I am thinking of switching to a different email site because of the…
