WHAT'S NEW:
Calendar - We moved it from under "More" on the right hand side to it's own icon. Still on the right hand side, but it's now the first icon next to Starred and Contacts.

TIPS:
Disable Inbox Categories (All, Primary, etc) - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Inbox Categories.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Sort By Sender - This is still a sorting option, but you must disable Conversation view under your Settings. Then you will see "Sender name"
Disable AI Summaries - Go to Settings > AI features > Toggle Off

  3. return my email view to the basic

    Actually, this is note about you arbitrarily changing th eformat of the email. I want basic email views. the new version is ugly and not at all nice on my eyes. Its also gotten rid of the view of my folders within the inbox at a glance..which i prefer. Im not Gen Z, I like the old and I would like to return tot he old. I read how to do it..only to find that if I dont see the option to change its not available to me at this time. WHY? is it the browser that is stopping it…

  4. I do not like the new yahoo mail

    I hate it so much. I prefer the Classic version. I will slowly fade away from using Yahoo or not on desktop.

  5. the reading window of the email was cut in half and is difficult to read

  6. going back to the old system

    i don't like the new system as i have to manually switch from primary to all emails. i cannot fine a way to adjust my settings as the listed settings are for appearance. also the new system is visually unappealing!

  9. bigger, more readable font. Reduce the large amount of white space.

    Awful.

    The font is hard to read, small.

    And, there is a lot of wasted white space.

    I prefer the old one.

  10. Feedback on new look

    The overall visual of the new look seems terrible to me. It literally hurts my eyes to try to read it. Something about the text contrast and size seems very ******* the eyes, both with the light and the dark. I don't understand why you keep changing things in a system that was fine the way it was. This new look is so unpleasant to read it makes me want to just get rid of my Yahoo account so I don't have to try.

  13. the hovering unsubscribe

    can we get rid of this feature on the page where I am looking at all of my emails. I keep accidentally hitting this button with the mouse or it gets in the way of me reading the emails as i am scrolling with the mouse. Very annoying. also, when I want to click all of my emails ahead of time so that i can just unclick the ones I want to keep is now an extra step. Very annoying.

    Sadly, this is the worse upgrade ever, display for viewing messages have been compromised, only half of the message is displayed.

  15. Where you can see your inboxes on the left margin

    Move the inboxes to the top of the left margin. Having them at the bottom is a waste of time and effort. At a minimum, provide the ability to customize the appearance of that left margin.

  16. No STAR Icon

    No STAR icon when I hover over the message on the right side. All I see is the DELETE! Where is the STAR? Why do I need to click 3 times to get to the star?

  17. The little box on the right side used to close. Bring that back with a click to open it.

    Also, make a separation as in the previous view, today, Monday, Tuesday, Wed, etc. Last week, last month, last year
    in the inbox. All the color is very distracting. Make a black and white view.

  18. grouping emails by date

    Why did you take away having the inbox grouped by date received? That was very helpful and I miss it already. Please bring it back.

  19. Move the star

    It makes more sense to select the star in the same place the star appears. I go all the way to the right to select the star but then the star appears at the beginning. makes no sense.

  20. Move Trash folder

    Trash folder should be higher on the list in the left hand menu, and more towards the top. It's a more important and more often used choice than Sent, Drafts and Scheduled.
