Return to Classic Mail
Go back to the original Yahoo. This is terrible. Why do I have to click on the 3 dots on the bottom to get the Spam and Trash Folders. They should be on the top with the icons for inbox, etc.

Clankier software and reduced useability. Brilliant! Now I'm forced to use the new version when it's the old version that encouraged me to use Yahoo. This new version is not what I signed up for, and you have not created anything that will genuinely improve the user experience - just AI nonsense to keep your investors happy.

The new design of the mail web client is truly awful. I have discussed this with friends and colleagues and have yet to find a single person that does not hate it. The mail preview window is too small, you can’t find attachments, there is a lot of free unutilised space that you're using, not even for ads. I hate it so much, that I want to switch to another client, but sadly switching emails is too much of a hassle and, at least for now, I'll stick to using this yahoo account but trough 3rd party apps...
This critique is with best intentions in mind. The new design is really awful, please consider reverting to the old one.

I can't see anything with the new style. After being a user for over 20 years, will I have to migrate because of this? The new design is just so messy in terms of colours and size, it takes too much time to figure out what is read/unread, etc. Not good for a daily use account.

Go back to the previous layout - the new one is difficult to navigate, has loads of ads, unusable right hand window that you can't delete or close. Hate the layout, whoever decided that it should be mandatory, should be mandatorily sacked. It sucks big time and after more than 30 years with Yahoo am now going to move to another operator.

There is soooo much wasted space on the Yahoo Mail webpage that the viewing area of emails is a small fraction of what it should be. Why is the header taking up over 35% of the height of the page? Why is the net email space less than 40% of the whole page? This is very poor layout!! It is hard to see a whole line of an email - you should have wrap text if you have dead space on the right of every email - trying to force users to buy the space to show the last 4 words of every line. You cannot put an obvious vexation to force people to pay for you to remove it. I would rather use another email app.

I do not like the new format. You should allow the option to return to the previous format.

I just posted this review on the apple iOs app store for the Yahoo mail app. Based on my review of other reviews, there are many others with similar reviews and problems with the new UI redesign that makes the app entirely inefficient, difficult, and time consuming to navigate. Please give the option to revert to the previous excellent easily navigable version of the app. The review I posted as follows:
I have been using and paying for The Yahoo Mail+ app for many years. I preferred it since user interface (UI) WAS very intuitive, well designed, easily navigable, and efficient with a minimal number of clicks required to navigate to separate inboxes and folders UNTIL Yahoo recently forced the major redesign of the user interface that makes the app entirely far more time consuming and frustrating to navigate. The previous UI version permitted quick one click navigation to any function such as choose an inbox or folder, it also made it simple to “select all” emails in a given folder, all of that time efficient functionality has now been replaced with a user interface that requires:
a swipe + scrolling + clicking on the “more” option + more scrolling to get to most folders and then going through all of that again to navigate to a different folder.
The previous efficient UI version was quick and efficient: simply scroll and click on a chosen folder or function.
This new UI also often erroneously opens an email when clicking on the choose box to only select the email on which to perform a function such as move, delete, etc. very annoying.
Some may prefer the new UI. Based on reviews I have noted, many such as me do not prefer the new UI and are requesting the option be provided to choose the previous well designed and efficient UI.
If it isn’t broken, don’t “fix it”.

I absolutely hate the new layout and there is no way to go back to the previous layout! If you are trying to put off the few remaining yahoo mail users, you are doing a great job!

Please restore the full functionality and usability of the previous Yahoo Mail interface.
The new Yahoo Mail design, as well as the so-called “classic” version of the new interface, are significantly less comfortable and efficient to use. The old layout was simple, fast, and very user-friendly — everything was accessible at a glance.
One of the most frustrating changes is the removal of **auto scrolling / infinite scroll**. Having to click manually through pages breaks the flow of reading and managing emails. The older version allowed continuous browsing without interruptions, which made it much easier to handle large inboxes.
Other issues:
– The new buttons and spacing waste a lot of screen space.
– It takes more clicks to perform basic actions.
– The overall interface feels slower and less intuitive.
– Visual hierarchy is weaker; it’s harder to scan messages quickly. In short, the old Yahoo Mail was clean, efficient, and ergonomic. Please consider bringing back the previous interface or at least allow users to **choose between the old and new layouts**.
Many loyal Yahoo users are frustrated and may leave the service if usability continues to decline. Listening to user feedback on this would mean a lot — Yahoo Mail used to be a great example of practical, no-nonsense design.

You can improve the new Yahoo Mail by reverting back to the previous - there was nothing wrong with it!

Hello,
I'd like to go back to the Classic / Basic Yahoo Mail, please.
It seems that I do not have this option in my Settings anymore!
Could you, please, give choice to people in case they want to stay with the Classic version of Yahoo.
If I have to use the new version, I'll be looking to move to another Email provider despite being with Yahoo for more than 20 years.
Is there a way where you could send me a link through which I can recover my previous Yahoo version?
My Email address is rossita_pe@yahoo.co.uk.Many thanks.
Kind regards,
Rossita
