Return to Classic Mail
Go back to the original Yahoo. This is terrible. Why do I have to click on the 3 dots on the bottom to get the Spam and Trash Folders. They should be on the top with the icons for inbox, etc.

The new layout is too fancy but it requires a lot of space. How can i return back to the classic layout?

The old Yahoo used to show the details of calendar invites - it seemed to recognise ICS files - and the new Yehoo does not. Can this functionality be reinstated?

I prefer to all (most) the mails in the list. It was better in the older UI.

Hi there, the new yahoo looks great but would be even better if it was possible to turn off Message Preview. Regardless of whether on or off, my inbox messages show the subject line and the start of the message. I would prefer to turn message preview off - can you look into this please?

I HATE the new UI. Why force people to use it? You don't gain anything by making people use a specific UI. Just let us use whatever we like.

I would like to suggest that Yahoo Mail consider offering larger free storage (for example, up to 50 GB) as a strategic move to regain users.
Historically, competitors such as Gmail initially attracted massive adoption by offering very large free storage. Even though their free quota has since been reduced, that early strategy successfully locked in long-term users.
Yahoo has an opportunity to repeat — and even improve on — that strategy by positioning Yahoo Mail as the most generous free email service today.
Offering significantly larger free storage could:
Attract new users who feel constrained by current limits elsewhere
Encourage former Yahoo users to return
Increase daily usage and long-term loyalty
I believe this approach would be a strong competitive differentiator for Yahoo Mail in the current market.
Thank you for considering this suggestion.

I've tried the new version and don't like it as much as the Basic version. I do want to go baack to the Basic version or I'll have to move to another platform. In the new version very little information os displayed on the screen compared to the Basic version, you only get to see about 12 message lines in a list, the contacts editing seems very clumsy - if you edit a field can't see where it says "Save" - etc. I think it should be up to the user or customer to say what version he wants to use. I couldn't recommend the new version to any potential users.

Everytime i send an email to myself, Harley09@myyahoo.com, It duplicates itself! This is using tons of storage plus its annoying bc it complicates my email if I wish to forward just one. This has been ongoing since i joined myyahoo.com mail. So i changed from the old yahoo to the new yahoo email service but it still doesnt the same thing so I changed back to the old email version but its still doing it. So i changed back to the new version. It took me forever to find ur mail SETTINGS. I had to do an online search. I also went online to find directions on what to do to STOP THE REDUNDANT EMAIL when i send. The online instructions r easy enough but when i go onto ur app on my Mac Air Laptop, None of the online instructions r to be found! JESUS! i should b able to end this issue but your email is NOT USER FRIENDLY for a lay person and a NON engineer!

When you've opened an email and create a new folder to move it to, the email should move to that newly created folder instead of remaining in "incoming" -- but it doesn't. Why is that?

When you have more than one yahoo account, or someone else with a different account uses the same computer, you want to be able to change between accounts! this is silly that there is no way to log out of an account. It shouldn't just stay open.

The “Switch to Basic Mail” option is no longer visible in my Yahoo Mail settings.
The current interface is heavy and difficult to use on my system. Earlier, Basic Mail was simple, fast, and very useful for daily business communication.
Please consider bringing back the Basic Mail option or providing a lightweight navigation view for users who prefer a simpler email experience.
