WHAT'S NEW?
Search by Sender - Just hover over the sender's profile image and a spyglass icon will appear where you can search all emails by that sender.
Multi-Tasking Tabs - Like before, open an email in a new tab.
AI Summaries - Ability to disable. Go to Settings > AI Features > Toggle Off
Number of Total Messages - Hover over the Inbox Icon and you will see both total number of messages and unread.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.

Differentiate Unread v. Read - Better ways to see the difference.
Resize Images - Resize an image within the message.
Inbox Categories - Default to "All" category instead of always Priority.
Right Hand Column - Ability to minimize: Contacts, Starred, More (Currently for Yahoo Mail Plus subscribers)


TIPS:
Inbox Categories - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Personalize Inbox.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Dark Mode - Go to Settings > Appearance.

  1. Change shortcut keys for delete

    I really like using shortcut keys in yahoo mail but it's not perfect. My biggest issue is the use of backspace to delete mail. I often accidentally delete mail while I am typing because of this.

    Ma cosa me ne faccio della finestra a destra dell'elenco delle mail, che non usero mai? Come faccio ad eliminarla? Ma perché essere obbligati a leggere male la lista di mail in un elenco cosi stretto da una finestra a destra che non uso e non userò e di cui non fornite la possibilità di eliminarla del tutto? Ma chi e' il progettista di questa interfaccia? Mettetelo davanti a gmail che forse si illumina!!

  6. NO MORE ASKING TO USE PASSCODE - give option to not be asked again!

    I will be sending one of these every time from now on when I have to use an extra step to log into my email by saying no to passcode. See how you like it!!!!!!

  9. new Format and Layout

    The new format and layout is too busy and looks like it is for a child. It is too cartoony and unprofessional. It is too busy to be useful and adds too many things to the home screen that I do not want or use. I will stop using yahoo and move my email to another gmail account

    Sir/Madam,
    The emails are coming recently to my email containing obscene nude photos. I am deleting them everyday. The senders are different. So, it is now difficult to use this official email in such condition.

  13. I can no longer use Yahoo mail because it just displays "You have pigeon"

    Give an option to revert back to the prior version, or at least make it possible to find instructions for getting the pigeon out of the way so I can get my mail.

    There used to be a saying about Communist China, that whatever flaws the West had, at least we didn't need to build a wall to keep our people in. Your 'new' yahoo mail sucks so bad that the only way you'll get people to use it is by forcing them to not be able to go back to the actually usable, ergonomic, decent old basic Yahoo email that is infinitely better. You must know how bad it is, for you to feel impelled to lock us out from being.able to go back to the only decent Yahoo email there is.…

  17. Bug: Disabling AI Message Summaries toggle does not work (stuck on generic previews)

    I turned off the "Message summaries" toggle in Settings, but my inbox won't revert to normal. It is stuck showing generic AI text like "Linkedin has sent you job alerts for..." instead of the actual company and role details.

    I have already tried:

    1, Turning the toggle on and off again.

    1. Hard-refreshing the browser (Ctrl+F5).

    2. Logging completely out and logging back in.

    The UI says it is turned off, but the inbox is completely failing to update. Please fix this caching issue!

  19. Dating apps to be removed from my feed
