WHAT'S NEW?
Search by Sender - Just hover over the sender's profile image and a spyglass icon will appear where you can search all emails by that sender.
Multi-Tasking Tabs - Like before, open an email in a new tab.
AI Summaries - Ability to disable. Go to Settings > AI Features > Toggle Off
Number of Total Messages - Hover over the Inbox Icon and you will see both total number of messages and unread.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.

Differentiate Unread v. Read - Better ways to see the difference.
Resize Images - Resize an image within the message.
Inbox Categories - Default to "All" category instead of always Priority.
Right Hand Column - Ability to minimize: Contacts, Starred, More (Currently for Yahoo Mail Plus subscribers)


TIPS:
Inbox Categories - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Personalize Inbox.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Dark Mode - Go to Settings > Appearance.

  7. Please restore the “Switch to Basic Mail” option in Yahoo Mail.

    The “Switch to Basic Mail” option is no longer visible in my Yahoo Mail settings.

    The current interface is heavy and difficult to use on my system. Earlier, Basic Mail was simple, fast, and very useful for daily business communication.

    Please consider bringing back the Basic Mail option or providing a lightweight navigation view for users who prefer a simpler email experience.

    Hello. Many of the emails I receive have duplicate attachments, and if I try to forward them, I get an error.
    I really liked the old version of email, I got used to it, how can I go back to the old version of email?

  13. Firefox Bugs: Can't Get to Calendar in Mail, Give Feedback Link Not Working

    There are some bugs in the New Yahoo Mail when using Firefox:

    1.) Can't get to Calendar in Yahoo Mail.
    2.) Can't Send Feedback from within Yahoo Mail

    This started about three days ago (Date of report: December 18, 2025)

  14. Choice of Font

    All of a sudden, the Yahoo mail headers (to and subject) have switched to a very small-sized Times Roman font. There isn't any way for the user to change it to a larger size or, even better, to a easier-to-read font.

    Could you please correct this? Thank you.

  15. ALLOW ME TO DISABLE AUTO SUGGESTION OF EMAIL ADDRESSES NOT IN MY YAHOO CONTACT LIST

    I manage a yahoo mail account I set up for an organization. I do not want you to show email addresses from my other email services when I type in names to search my email lists or start typing in an address to send an email. This is very confusing and inappropriate for this particular use of your system. I need to be able to turn this service off.

  16. STOP ADDING MY CONTACTS TO YAHOO CONTACTS

    I set up Yahoo mail for an organization i support. A year ago Yahoo mail loaded my contacts without my permission into this email account. I had to delete all my personal contacts from the organization email. I thought I had all the settings that would enable your access to my personal contacts turned off. Today I discovered that you had pilfered hundreds of my personal contacts again and now I will spend hours deleting them from Yahoo mail without assurance that I can prevent this in the future.   20. keyboard shortcut addition

    There should be a keyboard shortcut for marking an email as spam. For example, once a message is selected, J (or another unused letter) should send the message directly to the Spam folder.
