WHAT'S NEW?
Reply/Forward Icons - You can see the arrow icons when you've replied or forwarded to a message.
Up/Down Arrow, Scrolls Now - In full message view, not preview pane.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the email to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox. 
Search Results Will Show Folder - Now when you do a search, where the emails are located will show up.


COMING SOON!
Inbox Categories - Default to "All" category instead of always Priority.
AI Summaries - Ability to disable this under Settings.
Right Hand Column - Ability to minimize: Contacts, Starred, More (Currently Yahoo Mail Plus subscribers)


TIPS:
Drag and drop messages to folders - Just click and hold on an email message, then drag and drop that message into a different folder. 
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders. 
Dark Mode - Go to Settings > Appearance.
Inbox Categories - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Personalize Inbox.

  1. Multiple issues with the update

    it takes too long for the message to show that it has been read

    It is too hard to tell which message you are reading

    delete messages button in new location

    mark message as unread was so much easier, now much harder to do

    no button to get to Spam Folder. I OFTEN have emails go there even though they are not spam.

    Attached message preview used to open next to the email, now it takes up the whole screen.
    I prefer the old way.

    Messages are greyed out, but the message you are viewing is also grey.

  2. junk ads

    How about not making it difficult to delete all the gobs of worthless spam! And you keep changing how to use the app to make it more difficult to use. Yahoo has really gone the way of worthless trash. You should be ashamed.

  3. auto sending email without clicking on send button

    writing email is so terrible, it is almost impossible to write email as it scroll automatically and send automatically unfinished emails.

  5. Increasing the blocking capacity for SPAM domains

    The proliferation of SPAM is affecting the usefullness of the Mail application. You've done well by allowing 1000 blocked senders. However, the SPAMers get by that with virtually unlimited addresses from a single domain. Right now you offer a block on just three domains. Could you increase that to say 20 or more?

  7. Feature Request: Follow-Up Reminders in Yahoo Mail

    Dear Yahoo Mail Team,

    I’d like to suggest a useful feature that could enhance Yahoo Mail's functionality: follow-up reminders for emails. Gmail has an option that automatically reminds users to follow up on emails they haven't received replies to, helping to ensure important conversations don’t get lost.

    A similar feature in Yahoo Mail would be incredibly beneficial for users who manage busy inboxes and need a prompt to revisit unanswered emails. Having a built-in follow-up reminder would improve email organization and efficiency.

    I’d love to hear your thoughts on this idea and whether Yahoo Mail might consider implementing something similar.…

  10. ads on emails

    what ever you call the ads at the top of my email(s) is anoying so i will do what i always do: buy from the ads, make the item non-reusable, return it & tell the annouance why. I post these ideas in many places.

  11. Wiped out history?

    Why would I keep using yahoo if you wipe out my entire history of emails after a period of inactivity? I used yahoo mail for over 20 years and this is how I am repaid. I kept my inbox fairly clean and low amount of data, I went through period of over a year away from the internet and come back to decades of records wiped out. I want my messages from 2007 Iraq deployment and my recovery key for my bitcoin wallet from years ago. Where was my notice?

  13. you apparently changed the method to delete items in Trash. You removed a button to mark ALL messages for deletion.; now I have to click on

  15. Priority emails

    I absolutely hate that you decide what are priority emails in my inbox. How do I change my email inboxes so when I access them they automatically go to "All?" Shouldn't I be the one to judge whether an email is priority? Keep your algorithms to yourself!!

    I like the inbox categories, but give me a setting to let me default to "All". I want to see all mail, and then use the categories to filter them, but I want to start with all, and then choose to move to "Priority".

  18. new emails not showing and New emails counts in folders

    Two MAJOR bugs in the new version of the website email:

    1) New emails not showing - My cellphone reports new emails in my Yahoo inbox, and I can read them there. However, the website does not show new emails at all. It is as if the website app does not know that new emails have arrived. This is a MAJOR bug. My Samsung is running BlueMail as my email app. I use Chrome in my HP PC. This has been my setup for years, and I've never had this problem until you decided to change things on us.
