Yahoo setting the inbox as 'Priority' instead of 'All'
What a dumb idea.
How does Yahoo know what is a priority for me or not??
Why does Yahoo make more work for me to have to continuously every single time I go to my mail press the 'All' button??
Hate this.
Really, really hate this.71st ranked -

Help with TIPS
to disable inbox categories you mention to go to Settings - Inbox Categories, but unfortunately I do not have the Inbox Categories on my HP computer. I have looked through the categories on the left but cannot find Inbox Categories. How can I go back to just one category. In fact, all the TIPS mentioned above I cannot change on my end. I liked the old version better...

Return the sent by and to lines
One way to quickly see that an email is fake is to notice the sender's address. That instead of say Google.com the address is something.edu, or q9ghq[gihq3inbhojq3qhojsopbjp@yahoo.com
Instant recognition is now gone. YOU ARE PROMOTING FAKE/SPAM EMAIL.

Restore old contacts!
Restore all the contacts that I had in the old form. I cannot email family members now because this new form has lost several of those contacts. This is inexcusable.

Ability to expand the left folder pane width
The current inability to expand the width of the left pane (folders) to see more of the folder name is a complete FAILURE as far as I am concerned.

Email content in list
On the older Yahoomail you could set it so that you cannot see the content of the email within your inbox. You would only see the sender and the subject. The new version does not have this option. I prefer this style for many reasons. Seeing the content of one mail while working on something else is a distraction for me. Also, sometimes I don't want to immediately see the content of an email - for example, if I am attending to person things and get a work related mail. It can make the whole process of using Yahoomail less…

When I try and click on the image preview icon in my email list to view the picture without opening the email, I get a pop up that covers it
see above...there is a pop-up that totally obscures the image preview icon in my email list when I hover over the picture preview button.

I have a 30" monitor, and have to scroll the email side to side
Please, at least make it wide enough so I don't have to scroll side to side to see an email.
This is annoying enough, if not fixed I'll base everything in gmail ... I don't mind new things, so long as they are improvements. This is not that.
All you'd have to do is make the menu on the left collapse/uncollapseable so we can see one or the other in full.71st ranked -
Sort By Sender in Spam Folder
You have taken away my ability to sort my Spam folder by title or sender. And I am not using the "Categories" feature at all! Now it is extremely difficult to wade through the massive amounts of Spam to find that one message that should not be in there! You are NOT improving your interface or ease of use.

Filters
Please change the filter option back to the way it was before the new yahoo mail update. Before we could choose to filter in the menu bar. Now we have to enter the sender name, enter the sender email, etc. It is so cumbersome & time consuming, I am considering switching to a new email service b/c this is no longer conveniet to use. Please consider changing back to the way it was before.

Moving email from inbox to folders
Using Brave on MacOS Sequoia 15.7 (if it matters). Please bring back the keyboard shortcuts to move email from inbox (or current folder) to folder. Shift+d ("D") should bring up the folder list with the cursor in the the search bar. "d" should bring up the folder list with the number of the folder, e.g., d then 2 for the second folder in list.
Without this feature, I'm going back to classic.

Make Filters or Rules an easy option from the INBOX
When I open an email from my INBOX, how can I create a "rule" to send all future mails from that sender into a specific folder? Going to the "filter" option isn't intuitive....I'd like to have an easy way to create a rule/filter from directly inside an email, or maybe when an email is selected from the INBOX. Thanks.

Allow user to tighten vertical spacing between entries
The new mailbox display looks too much like Gmail and includes one element that made me prefer Yahoo: I could previously see many more of my incoming emails listed on the opening display for each mailbox. It would be nice to be able to see more emails listed on a single screen WITHOUT just making the type smaller. The old version displayed at least a third more entries, which was useful to a person like me who gets at least 75 new emails many days.

accessability fail
people with visual acuity problems can't focus on a hovered menu dialog. like the 'filter by sender' button that has disappeared. change for the sake of change is not always a good thing. in fact, this particular brain storm is more like a brain ****. removing that sender filter makes your service harder to use by a quantum factor. having that filter button gone may make the design "look sleeker," but it's disappearance makes your service much harder to use. your sauce is weak. try harder. thans

stop thinking you're creative and provide functionality
again you have proven you can make your email product worse with the new layout.
do any of you admit in public you work for yahoo? do you see successful companies implement anything you do?
start listening to dummies like me who regrettably still pay for this service.

Changes Badly Needed
Please bring back the Classic Wide font!. And your font selection does not appear to be stable at this point (e.g. the same size selection results in very different size fonts depending on factors I can't figure out -- very frustrating). Also you have reduced the size window for displaying emails and the comparison with a Gmail screen is striking. To keep users on board you really need to increase the size of that display window. And I have repeatedly tried to turn off the inbox categorization feature without success -- even a computer reboot did not result in the…
