WHAT'S NEW?
Reply/Forward Icons - You can see the arrow icons when you've replied or forwarded to a message.
Up/Down Arrow, Scrolls Now - In full message view, not preview pane.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the email to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox. 
Search Results Will Show Folder - Now when you do a search, where the emails are located will show up.


COMING SOON!
Inbox Categories - Default to "All" category instead of always Priority.
AI Summaries - Ability to disable this under Settings.
Right Hand Column - Ability to minimize: Contacts, Starred, More (Currently Yahoo Mail Plus subscribers)


TIPS:
Drag and drop messages to folders - Just click and hold on an email message, then drag and drop that message into a different folder. 
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders. 
Dark Mode - Go to Settings > Appearance.
Inbox Categories - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Personalize Inbox.

    How about not making it difficult to delete all the gobs of worthless spam! And you keep changing how to use the app to make it more difficult to use. Yahoo has really gone the way of worthless trash. You should be ashamed.

  3. auto sending email without clicking on send button

    writing email is so terrible, it is almost impossible to write email as it scroll automatically and send automatically unfinished emails.

  5. Increasing the blocking capacity for SPAM domains

    The proliferation of SPAM is affecting the usefullness of the Mail application. You've done well by allowing 1000 blocked senders. However, the SPAMers get by that with virtually unlimited addresses from a single domain. Right now you offer a block on just three domains. Could you increase that to say 20 or more?

  7. Email Viewing - Bad AI Summaries

    In Settings it appears I can turn off Dynamic Messages. However, this does not appear to be the option to turn off the AI Summaries on ALL emails (despite many YT videos stating otherwise). My AI Summaries are still happening; and based on the short description under the COMING SOON! banner on this page, my guess is Yahoo does not allow turning that feature off yet.

    Is this correct?

    If no, then please share with me how to turn these off - they are not helpful at all.

  8. Feature Request: Follow-Up Reminders in Yahoo Mail

    Dear Yahoo Mail Team,

    I’d like to suggest a useful feature that could enhance Yahoo Mail's functionality: follow-up reminders for emails. Gmail has an option that automatically reminds users to follow up on emails they haven't received replies to, helping to ensure important conversations don’t get lost.

    A similar feature in Yahoo Mail would be incredibly beneficial for users who manage busy inboxes and need a prompt to revisit unanswered emails. Having a built-in follow-up reminder would improve email organization and efficiency.

    I’d love to hear your thoughts on this idea and whether Yahoo Mail might consider implementing something similar.…

  11. Return to the old format before the update

    I dislike the new yahoo email. Things are hidden now that were out in the open. For instance, I have to hit the unread emails to get all the new emails that have come in to me. The inbox doesn't show them all. I would like the delete function out in the open instead of having to click somewhere else for it, it was better placed before. This and more is why I hate updates because changes are made that really don't need to be made to function and the user needs to basically be retaught and shouldn't have to…

    what ever you call the ads at the top of my email(s) is anoying so i will do what i always do: buy from the ads, make the item non-reusable, return it & tell the annouance why. I post these ideas in many places.

  18. Wiped out history?

    Why would I keep using yahoo if you wipe out my entire history of emails after a period of inactivity? I used yahoo mail for over 20 years and this is how I am repaid. I kept my inbox fairly clean and low amount of data, I went through period of over a year away from the internet and come back to decades of records wiped out. I want my messages from 2007 Iraq deployment and my recovery key for my bitcoin wallet from years ago. Where was my notice?

  20. you apparently changed the method to delete items in Trash. You removed a button to mark ALL messages for deletion.; now I have to click on
