WHAT'S NEW?
Search by Sender - Just hover over the sender's profile image and a spyglass icon will appear where you can search all emails by that sender.
Multi-Tasking Tabs - Like before, open an email in a new tab.
AI Summaries - Ability to disable. Go to Settings > AI Features > Toggle Off
Number of Total Messages - Hover over the Inbox Icon and you will see both total number of messages and unread.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.

Differentiate Unread v. Read - Better ways to see the difference.
Resize Images - Resize an image within the message.
Inbox Categories - Default to "All" category instead of always Priority.
Right Hand Column - Ability to minimize: Contacts, Starred, More (Currently for Yahoo Mail Plus subscribers)


TIPS:
Inbox Categories - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Personalize Inbox.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Dark Mode - Go to Settings > Appearance.

  3. Option to undo updated formats

    Each of your last three major updates have resulted in a reduction in function and usability. How about offering an to revert back to the previous format?

  4. How do I turn off streaks in email?

    Please tell me how to turn off streaks. This feature is annoying and not useful. I've been through all of the email settings, turned off Dyanmic Message and streaks still keep popping up. This is not a feature, it's an annoyance

  5. Bring back list view on desktop

    List View on desktop made it easy to look at a full month and review events with minimal scrolling. Doubly so since I could see all the full event names, and zero in on the ones I need to view, without having to first click for additional information -- especially when the event I am seeking isn't visible from the date square, thus requiring repeated down-arrow clicks to show more date-after-date.* Failing that, please add the ability to hover over a date and see a list of all events for the date -- hopefully with this hovering producing a list…

  7. Let me use old yahoo mail. 30 Years using yahoo mail. Getting all yahoo mail forwarded to gmail. Gmail is my new email.

  8. a way to keep stuff the older way which worked better

    I liked my OLD EMAIL look, it worked great as it was
    How do I go back to it?

  9. Please return the date subdividers

    I tested the new interface when you initially made it available to me and I went back because the date subdividers were gone. Now I don't have a choice and I really miss those. For people that receive a lot of email, those REALLY help. Please return them!

  10. NO PUSH MESSAGES !!!!!

    I do not need push messages disturbing my workflow. When I go through emails, I am focused and in the flow. You're disrupting my work.

  11. Remove the big blank strips between sections of the inbox

    The side bars are so big now, and there's a blank strip before the right hand side bar, between the right hand side bar and the inbox, between the inbox and the left-hand side bar, and then between the left-hand side bar and the extreme left side… that the inbox area itself is small, so small that the icons to do things like delete won't even appear anymore! Get rid of the blank strips, so the inbox area itself can be wider, so that titles can be read and they control icons will reappear!

  12. The new search feature sucks

    I want to be able to refine the search to a specific folder not get everything in the email. I hate the look of the new email, I also want to see all - not default to primary. Yuck why couldn't you just leave it alone - it was fine or let me swap back.

  15. Both light and dark mode are hard to see. Need more options.

  18. Page numbers not being available makes going through emails a major pain.

    The old pages of 20 - 30? messages by page number much more useful to me than totally tedious layout now where I now have to keep track of dates and specific message on that date to know where I left off in my reviewing of messages. You really are trying hard to mess things up and you have succeeded.

  19. Get rid of Progress, allow manipulation of window real estate, and improve the spam filter

    Progress is freaking idiotic!

    I've got dozens of spam emails to delete every day, and I DO. NOT. NEED. To gamify this *. Having a stupid window pop up to get in the way of me deleting spam is a **** waste of time, and being unable to delete it is beyond stupid.

    Your new design wastes half the real estate on my screen. I don't need a box that must be filled with something I rarely use (like your calendar or starred emails). I need to see what the **** the non-spam emails are about. Being unable…
