Unfortunately, you cannot revert back. We are only making the new one better. We know change is frustrating and hard but we really hope you'll give the new layout a fair chance.


WHAT'S NEW:
Calendar - We moved it from under "More" on the right hand side to it's own icon. Still on the right hand side, but it's now the first icon next to Starred and Contacts.

TIPS:
Disable Inbox Categories (All, Primary, etc) - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Inbox Categories.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Sort By Sender - This is still a sorting option, but you must disable Conversation view under your Settings. Then you will see "Sender name"
Disable AI Summaries - Go to Settings > AI features > Toggle Off

  1. Message light background in dark mode

    In dark mode user should be able to use /switch between light/dark background in messages (creating new message, reading received messages). Dark mode should only impact overall layout, not the message. For message background, there should be separate toggle in settings.
    It has been issue in the past, then you fixed it. Now again with the new interface.

    What's the point of having a reading pane if half of the emails I receive cannot be fully seen in the reading pane?

  5. Where is my option to block spam email addresses???????

    Why has Yahoo taken away the option to "block contacts" in Spam emails since changing to the new format???? I have a stack of perverted spam emails and NO WAY TO BLOCK THEM!!!!! There is NO option when I right click, only ADD to Contacts!!!!!! What the **** Yahoo, you are about to lose a customer, VERY disappointed! And no, I am NOT over my 1000 addresses to block.

  6. Why are you copying Gmail - if i wanted a Gmail i would use Gmail....

    This new version is very similar to Gmail.
    Main reason to use Yahoo email was just because it was different than Gmail.

    I will give this couple of weeks, if you don't have rollback button, I will use Gmail.

  8. Give option to use old Yahoo appearance and layout

    The new layout is worse. I can't tell when I have a new email because the "bold" for the new email looks exactly the same as how the emails I've already read look. I honestly also just hate how the new design looks and I miss the old one and the preset picture I used for the background that really made me like using your service. The only reason I'm not leaving Yahoo entirely over this is because it would be way too much hassle to go and change my email for everything.

    Please get rid of the identity photos from senders. We don't need it and it takes up too much space in the line.

    voglio modificare il layout è una cosa abominevole, tutto stretto si legge a malapena l'oggetto dell'email e i bordi completamenti liberi quando si dovrebbe allargare tutto per vedere meglio l'email; ma vi pagano per far diventare cieche le persone??? vergogna

  17. Allow the Folders column width to be resized

    You could change the width of the folders column in the old mail system. It seems to be fixed now and I cannot read the full folder names imported to the new system so it is not easy to distinguish folders without waiting for the prompt to pop up after hovering over each folder name.

  20. Pathetic layout

    The message layout is pathetic, especially as I have no option to widen the email box and reduce the width of the ad panel. We use email to read the email, not to enjoy constantly loading advertisements in the panel to the right, which we can't even reduce the size of. In the new layout, we have to scroll within the email window from left to right, which is extremely annoying. For people who are on the spectrum, the large, constantly flickering ad panel is a sensory nightmare. Be a good email provider first, earn ad revenue later.
