delete without using the check box
I am not happy with the update that does not allow me to Delete emails without using the check box. I used to be able to click on one of them, and click delete on the screen and it would then move to the next email and i can delete again and do this repeatedly so i can delete many emails very quickly. right now it makes me click on the small box, that is about 10+ clicks if i want to delete 10+ emails in a row. That is not productive at all. Also the boxes are so small…

inbox streaks is dumbest thing I've ever seen on the internet
stop doing email streaks, stop contacting me with dumb stuff. If you have not dumb stuff that reasonable people would care about, happy to be notified. DONT want to be notified about dumb stuff. Quick internet search shows hundred + people think inbox streaks dumb, i could find ZERO posts of someone every defending or liking inbox streaks. Bad. Design. Stop. It.

Several Suggestions
Give back the Block Sender in Spam Folder options, so that future blocked sender spam messages go directly to trash, bypassing the spam folder.
From address searches, add 'contains' options so that 'From' search results can find similar messages from the same email domain.
Move right side tool bar out of the right side panel into the top panel by the search box.71st ranked -
Turn off streaks
I toggled to not receive notifications on these silly and unnecessary and irrelevant 'streaks' but I'm still getting them. Very weird thing you guys added. I'm on yahoo plus and submitted a message before - it's also very hard to find in settings. My advise when you add anything weird you might want to ensure you give your customers an easy way out.

A larger display of email content
I am fine with you updating the appearance of our email page, but the teeny weeny box that individual emails are displayed in, is ridiculous. One third of it is utilised with sender and receiver details and headers. There are only about 5 lines of text displayed at a time, which makes reading an email quite difficult, and if there are images embedded , it's even worse. Give us a larger display for email content display!!

Basically change it back to old yahoo mail because this has improved nothing and made everything worse
Literally everything about this change is horrible. Aside from being ugly as sin, the greatest sin is the grossly inefficient use of space - previous version gave me 15 e-mails on screen vs only 11 now. And the menu down the left, I literally cannot even see my folders anymore without scrolling while before I had EVERYTHING visible at once.
And worst of all, I can no longer middle-click anything out into a new tab or get it with a right click or via any other method that I can see. You've straight up made the entire thing non-functional, brilliant…

Delete or Disable Circle Sender Icons!
I'm sorry. I don't want to seem picky or ungrateful, especially, when you've provided me a free email account for over 20 years. I understand that, ultimately, it's your platform and you can do whatever you want with it's design. However, if you want some honest feedback. I really dislike the skittle colored circle sender icons next to each and every mail message. I feel it really clutters the whole message view. Would love an option to turn off those icons and just have a plain list for a clean look. I tried to revert back to the old yahoo…

Gmail
It seems that Yahoo wants me to use Gmail instead of Yahoo Mail. Strange, because I have used Yahoo Mail Plus for many years. I can't understand why you would discourage us loyal users from using the service by taking away the email interface we all know and love.
Gmail, here I come.

Reduce padding
There is so much wasted screen space in the new UI. Either give the user more control about how the screen is laid out or reduce the padding between elements. So little of the actual email content is displayed on the screen.

Get Rid of New Yahoo Mail
It's hard to read, both in Light and Dark modes. Old Yahoo Mail was fine. Revert back.

Better readability
hi guys, appreciate the 'free' product and am obviously partial to the old UI.
I get we're not going back to classic mode but can you create something that enhances readability/processing, call it an accessibility feature etc, because this larger/bloated font and ui is really grating, it's not something to just 'get used to'...it's a step backwards for visual engagement and productivity.
I already switched to compact mode and lowered the zoom on my browser to 90% but it's still poor. I hope you consider adding simple visual enhancements that improve engagement with your product.

Go back to the older one! This one is not user friendly! Have a tab to go back to the original one!

Folder wheel sucks
While I absolutely detest the new look, I absolutely miss having all my folders open on the side for filing away. The click-and-drag through the wheel of folders can easily lead to selecting the wrong folder by mistake.

Dry run for buttons on e-mail
I'm hesitant to click on buttons such as "Unsubscribe" or "Track Package" because I don't know what they would do (as well as because they are an annoyance, covering up text on the screen). It would be nice if there was a dry run option where I could see what would actually happen.
I guess "Track Package" would open a link to a tracking page on USP or Fedex.com. But how do I know this? The bottom line of Chrome doesn't show the link like it does if I hover my mouse over a hyperlink within an e-mail.
I should…

E-mail lists not working
E-mail lists can't be added to e-mail messages. I have to manually add each individual address into the address slot. Very inconvenient compared to the other more stable version.

Block obvious spam
Previous version allowed users to block and delete spam messages. It would be better if Yahoo! were able to delete obvious spam messages being sent from compromised email addresses, but if that can't be done the it would be good to restore the ability for the user to block these nuisance messages, and therefore to remove the limit on blocked senders.

Change read and star status with just a click
These features of the previous version were very helpful.
Now is very frustrating to select the message and click the appropriate button!
And where is the close button of the open message???71st ranked -
Restore Inbox Toolbar and Allow Customisation of Email Actions
Please give users the option to customise the email action toolbar, including which buttons are displayed and their order.
The new Yahoo Mail hides frequently used actions such as Archive under the three-dot menu when viewing an email, adding unnecessary clicks.
The action toolbar has also been removed from the top of the inbox and other folders, only appearing when an email is selected.
Please consider:
*Allowing users to choose which actions are permanently visible when viewing an email, rather than hiding frequently used functions under the three-dot menu.
* Restoring the action toolbar at the top of the inbox…71st ranked
