I don't mind adding coaches...you could award points based on wins (its like choosing a team defence) AND challenges won.

I've been saying this for years. If anyone hits 30 yards or lower they should get a standard 3 points but anything more should be partial points. Even if it's over 50 yards. 59 yard fg gives you 5.9 pts.

We already have partial point scoring for running and receiving yards so why not field goals. Anything 30 and under should get a standard 3 pts but for example if you hit a 49 yarder you should get 4.9 or better yet a 59 yarder should be 5.9 points.

The idea of adding Punters is good.
I'm not voting for this item because I don't really see how adding Coaches would help the game. -

Commisioners should have the option to count them. For all the people who oppose goalie stats, just don't include them in your league. But it's silly that yahoo! doesn't even allow it as an option.

Ridiculous how this is not even an option for teams. Niemi had two assists last night and it's stupid that it won't count and could cost someone in the head to head matchup.

I like the idea of adding elements like this. Having a slot for punters would be cool. Fbs too. We differ Tes from WR, FB has a different role than rb.
Then for the people who want win bonus, that could be a head coach slot. -

Still not included this year? Ridiculous. 13th ranked suggestion. Are you guys only capable of implementing only a few ideas every year?

Yes, an equation would be better. That's not to say that more scoring categories isn't an improvement. But, an equation would be a superior improvement.

Not just player goals. We need goalie wins and losses as well. And goalie saves and goals against. Why this hasn't been added years ago I simply cannot understand.

Agreed. I don't know if I'd call it Faceoff Win % or just Faceoff % (FO%), but it needs to be in there. Inferior products have it as a category and I'm in a league that just switched because of it. That's nuts.

I agree on adding Punters.

This thread has now been "gathering feedback" for over a year and 2 months. It can't be that hard. Give the users the option to customize their league the way they see fit, yahoo!

Is it possible for this to be implemented in the 2015 season? If so please do so

My league and I request that you implement this change please. Fractional points for field goals makes as much sense as fractional points for Rushing/Receiving yards

for sure....for all 14 of the 60+ yard field goals made in NFL history over 3 decades, please give us that bonus!!!

Please offer fractional points for kickers. A 44yd field goal=4.4pts. Also field goal bonuses, extra point bonuses, and for gosh sakes how about a 60yd field goal category.

Yahoo! is the worst at changing or adding new options, check out my Keeper post to be able to edit rosters due to off-site and off-season trades for keeper leagues. It was been over a year at #1 most popular... and still "gather feedback". That is Yahoo! code for "We're igonoring you", even though our competitors offer this this option.
I support this post as an option for commissioners to choose fraction/non-fraction kicker scoring.
