Adding the taxi spot for Fantasy Football is what makes Sleeper seem way ahead of Yahoo. If Yahoo can add taxi spots it would make for a great experience which right now Sleeper can give. I'd love to move our Fantasy Dynasty football over to Yahoo. We currently have our Dynasty Basketball on Yahoo but people want it to be more like the Sleeper experience.

We have been with yahoo since 2003. This is an essential feature for all dynasty leagues and a major priority for our league. The taxi squad feature is frequently written about by all the top dynasty analysts. This is the type of addition that can keep yahoo on par or better than all other dynasty league options. We would love to remain with yahoo after 21 years of league history. Adding the taxi squad would keep us with yahoo.

As others have commented, I think that this is detrimental that all dynasty leagues have this kind of roster spot available to be implemented. The dynasty league has been nothing short of perfect thus far and I think that adding this option would make it all that much more fun to select up and coming rookies. At the moment our yearly draft is becoming somewhat irrelevant because outside of the top couple of incoming rookies, not many are worth holding on a roster spot. This would make the yearly draft a little more meaningful and add even more depth to dynasty leagues as a whole.

With the popularity of dynasty leagues growing more and more popular I believe adding an option for a dynasty position to the commish tools would be helpful. I love the yahoo platform and I commission 4 dynasty leagues on yahoo but recently the leagues are wanting to move to Sleeper citing easier dynasty tools. I think adding a taxi as well as more options to trade draft picks up to 2 years in advance would go a long way in helping me and other dynasty commissioners to keep the leagues on Yahoo. Please add a taxi squad option for dynasty leagues. Keeping an excel spreadsheet up to date, in order to track and manage rookies and year 2-3 players isn't convenient.

in a keeper league with a rookie draft we are in need of a taxi squad designation for at least 2 rookie players this would help with all leagues

Need a third non-active roster spot type (besides Bench and IR) for Taxi Squad/Rookie Squad. Beyond that (or perhaps as a workaround), the commissioner should have the ability to flag any player with any special designation necessary to allow certain players into an IR or Taxi Squad slot.
Our league allows FAAB bidding on these players to sign them away from the current owner, and currently we have to do everything manually using an extra Bench spot. Not sustainable. Owners are forgetting the rules, which gives the owners already grumpy about the rule more ammo to complain. Everyone would be on board if this was automated.
A complimentary nice-to-have feature would be a way to filter on rookies in the draft room.

It has been at least a decade since our league has suggested Supplemental Squads and more defined roster positions -- WILL (weakside LB), Mike (middle LB), Sam (strongside LB), SS (strong safety), FS (free safety).
I just noticed a comment on a different site (Reddit) that suggests some fantasy platforms do have supplemental squads. We've always chosen Yahoo because of it's user-friendly platform, but perhaps you're no longer the 'king of the hill' in fantasy.
I'd like to get a legitimate response relative to these suggestions that I may determine whether my leagues should remain in Yahoo. My league IDs are: #3422 and #3427.

A Taxi Squad is non active roster list of players you can stash for the future. You can customize that a player has to be on a taxi squad for a certain amount of time
Before they can be on the active roster.
