Using advanced charting I can draw and remove a trend line but there seems to be no way of saving a trend line permanently on a chart.

Checkbox to shorten company name in portfolios
You really need to simply add a check box in settings to show the entire company name in the portfolio, or shortened company name (perhaps 20 characters). Right now you default the length of the column to the largest entry of a company name. This can take up a lot of space and thus causes people to have to use the horizontal scroll bar when you can fix that. Thank you. Second request. Peter

Robinhood portfolio shows incorrect 'average cost'
This problem persists ONLY in Robinhood accounts, other portfolios seem to be unaffected (Chase shows up correctly).
So, for the Robinhood, the 'average Cost' shows an incorrect value both in the app and on the web. It appears that the 'average cost' is calculated by dividing the 'cost/share' by the number of shares which is incorrect.
Maybe Robinhood API already sends you the average cost info? If I go to the "Lot Details" to edit it manually and enter the average share price into the 'cost/share' field, I see that YahooFinance is dividing this number by the number of shares.…69th ranked -
Left & right pan bar at top of portfolio list (like pan bar at bottom of portfolio (pc mode)
Could you please add a left and right scroll bar at the top of the portfolio list like the "light blue" left and right scroll bar that is at the bottom of the portfolio list in "PC version" of Yahoo finance, or some other way to pan left and right in "Portfolio" mode. It is no problem to pan left & right on phone or tablet, but it is not convenient in PC mode without a touch screen. Perhaps "<" & ">" keys or ??? could be utilized. I have some fairly lengthy portfolio lists I follow and it is…

Incorrect data on Year to Date performance
Why are Year To Date information so incorrect on mutual funds? My fund is currently down -8.74% percent according to the fund website, yet Yahoo finance currently reports YTD's as -2.12% and -10.97% on the webpage. Just wondering why?

Feature not a bug
OpenWeb is doing a terrible job monitoring comments. This is perhaps a feature, not a bug. Algorithm makes arbitrary decisions rejecting useful, fact-based comments and now will not even consider appeals. Falsely claims when I file an appeal that I'd already had an appeal rejected. Algorithm or disgruntled employee has shadow banned me.

expanded chart errors
When opening an expanded chart for a stock, the prices are different than what they should be. Example, Amazon stock is around $220 but the expanded chart shows its current price its around $71. The y-axis scale is set to "Linear." Also the indicators I have custom set disappear and revert to defaults every time I open the expanded chart. I haven't changed any of my browser settings and this has never happened before in all my years of using Yahoo Finance.

Cross contamination between charts in different tabs
Cross contamination between charts in different tabs
When I have multiple tabs open for different companies, each tab now shows the chart for one of the companies (e.g. I have multiple tabs open NVDA, MSTR, COST, etc however when in chart view they show the chart of one of the other companies which is in the first tab that loaded).
This happens in different browsers and on different computers.
I have also cleared my cookies and history, updated the browser, and rebooted the computer.44th ranked -

New charts don't display properly on Firefox since today
New charts don't display properly on Firefox since today. This has happened maybe an hour ago. Now every chart on my screen looks exactly the same: it looks like Mobileye (MBLY) chart which I confirmed by opening charts on another browser. By the way, on Microsoft Edge charts are displayed properly. But not on Firefox. I'm using the newest Firefox version.
I am probably not the only one with this bug, but I guess someone else's charts will mirror other stock, not necessarily Mobileye. Please go back to the old charts if you can't even fix new ones.

Please restore choice for compact density option.
Please restore the option for turning compact density ON/OFF in the portfolio display. Why do you keep making these changes and removing options? I don't believe that users are begging "please give us a new format and layout that has not been tested and remove the option for all the features that have worked perfectly for decades". Your next step should be to enter Ctrl-z.

Revert the Date function in Add Lot.
You must have recently changed the Date settings when updating Added Lots. Now it defaults to 2025 and anything else causes no date to appear and, therefore, you have no results for annual gain or loss. Revert it back to the old settings so we can use this function. This also screws up the Sort function.

In portfolio view, don't exceed 2 decimal places except where necessary.
Only use more than 2 decimal places where necessary, such as for unit prices. It is inappropriate to show 4 decimal places for day's gain and market value, for example, and this makes columns wider meaning less are visible.

ZARc and GBPc denominated shares and their dividends
There seems to be issue with shares that are denominated in cents - such as ZARc and GBPc.
Issue 1: The recalcualtion to portfolio currency in transactions seems to be wrong, incorrectly taking into account the multiplication or division by 100
Issue 2: Dividends: Although transactions might be listed in cens: e.g. 100 ZARc for one share, the dividends are listed in ZAR but are not recalculated back to cents: such then for example a dividend that is 10 ZARc is only displayed as 0.1 ZARc and this leads to inaccuracy69th ranked -
Portfolio 2.0 too slow
Since the upgrade to Portfolio Version 2.0, the speed has become significantly slower. While I appreciate the new features in Portfolio 2.0, I would prefer to revert to the previous version considering the speed issues.

create simple portfolio with 25 symbols with a copy and paste. Can't do anymore.
I used to be able to copy a list of tickers (usually 25) from a spreadsheet with a comma between each ticker and click Add symbols and paste and enter and bingo a new portfolio with 25 symbols. Now that is not possible.
Your new 2.0 probably works better for folks with complex portfolios but creating a simple, basic one with 25 tickers is very cumbersome. The old YF was simple, fast and easy to read. You shouldn't have to click check boxes to add a symbol when a list of symbols has already been provided. Please fix.

suggestion
Hi I just opened Yahoo Finance this morning and find that you have changed things again.
We had a function of filling in High/Low values in the portfolio view and now it is gone again.
Please restore this function so the values we place can be seen and not just in the transaction screen.

Dear Yahoo bosses, my portfolio value is not growing anymore!
As the title clearly suggests, since you've implemented the new portfolio view, MY PORTFOLIO value simply stopped growing. You need to revert to the classic view please, before I move to another provider! Hhhhh!
